I met Brandon at Sam's Club in Oakwood Village. I had been looking for Car Keys Express since they last came to this location about a year ago. So when I saw them again, I leaped at the opportunity. Brandon was a really nice guy. He explained everything really well. But, (and yes there is a but) execution of the explained procedure didn't go accordingly. There was a rather large fiasco that led to my spending way more time at the store than I had originally intended. After I had completed my shopping I stopped back by the Car Keys Express Truck to pick up my keys. Since I've never done anything like this before, after loading all my groceries in my car, I decided to try all the buttons before I left to make sure they all worked. And it's a good thing I did! All the buttons seemed to work fine, including the remote start button. However, a few seconds after the car started, it cut off again. I tried everything I could think of to get it to work - Are the doors closed? Did I need to touch the fob to the ignition button? Etc. - Nothing that I did worked! My key didn't even work anymore! And I took it right back up to Brandon! Turned out that there were some important steps that needed to be taken and they weren't. Brandon worked diligently to fix the problem. I watched as he took my car apart in front of my eyes trying to figure out the problem. Finally, after he placed a phone call and dripped sweat all over the inside of my car, he did figure it out, and got it all working. The key works great. But it was harrowing experience!

Obvious Disaster

Ebony and Trisha were fantastic! I was able to get a new key and fob (with 3 year warranty) for about $230 for a 2019 Hyundai Elantra. They take about 10 minutes to make so it was very quick at our local Sam’s Club. They also tested it out to make sure everything was in good working order and then sent us on our way! They were both very nice and I will definitely come back if I need another key!

I was in the parking at Sam’s Club and saw the Key Express tent. I went over to ask about a key for my Toyota. Jose was very friendly and knowledgeable. He said he had a fab for my car and told me the price. The price he gave me compared to other prices was at a great discount. He programmed it and made sure it worked before he charged me. They didn’t have my key in stock on the van outside Sam’s Club, but got it ordered to be shipped to my home. That was Saturday and it and arrived the following Friday. The phone number I was give to call, to get the key programmed and cut, went directly to the person who sold me the key. Met back up with them at Sam’s Club and they got it programmed and cut in 15 minutes. The employee I dealt with was super friendly knows their business. Explained the whole process very well. We have an odd key and they took time to make sure we got the correct model that has all the functionality the original has. Looks the same if it is not a factory key. Very pleased!

After giving the year make and model, I was told a price that was FAR LESS than any dealer or locksmith. Wow! It was a very nice experience, Matthew was very knowledgeable and friendly. This is one of the best people I had making my keys, fast friendly, courteous and the best thing was that it’s an affordable price, and the convenient loca, while shopping the key was done as easy as 1,2 and 3 I wish they had a small space inside the store, Sam’s club has many other companies selling services and they bother you all the time, but Car Key Express it’s one of those services that are needed inside the store all the time. My sister went to Sam’s Club in North KC Missouri yesterday and saw they were stationed outside, asked questions about my cars eligibility for a key replacement and they told her they would be able to have a copy. I wasn’t there so they couldn’t do anything yet so I made sure to go the next day when they opened. Very fast and efficient and a lot cheaper than the dealership. Replacement key fob for my 2014 Nissan Murano looks and functions exactly like my original key fob. Also, my original key fob had a weak/dead battery and they replace the battery at no extra charge in the original key fob. I highly recommend checking them out. Should you ever need a second key for your vehicle.
