Very convenient location and easy to use and it was really cool that they had the 22cent special during the holidays... However the laundry facility is still broken down badly... There's no reason to be charging full price on machines for a laundry facility that's not 100% operational. Especially in hard times like these the machines should at very least be half the price . I've made reservations only to find out it's a broken machine which does not help at it's busiest times. A full line of machines are completely unavailable and one of the machines have the glass completely removed And also unavailable... I get this place is awaiting renovations but it's the middle of January now. . But to my understanding these renovations should have already took place by now and it still looks like this looking back at many other Google user reviews... Just go ahead and do the right thing for your customers, please consider discounting the price of your machines until you actually get this place fixed up. The last thing somebody wants to put their hard-earned money for laundry machines that should be working... And have to deal with the stress of multiple malfunctions... I've been a customer here for a few years now and the customer service has always been great but until then please consider doing the right thing for people already falling on hard economic times like today.

I normally use the machines here at least twice a month never had any issues until a few days ago When a washer locked up and would not count down just stayed on 22 minutes . And held my clothes for ransom. Tried email and the 800 number but no reply. I finally keep playing with the app and was able to reset and only way to open the door was to purchase another wash and wait another 28 minutes Just to state I have uses these machines for over year and this is the first time this has ever happened

I love that I can pay with an app and use my debit card instead of lugging quarters around. I like the fact that every time I have been in the place is clean. Something important about laundrymats is that not all are "good." I've been to cheaper ones where you can see they either reduce the amount of water in the washers (so your clothes do not get clean,and you have to cycle twice) or they don't fully spin out the clothes so you spend more on the dryer. THIS PLACE DOES NEITHER! I also like that there is no riff raff hanging around and I can wash in peace without being begged money from. My only "complaint" is that I think you should offer more than 1 dying option. Even on a full load my clothes do not take all that time in the dryer. At other laundrymats my dryers cost 25 cents a min and I spend between $1 and $1.25 to dry. The overall cost here is okay, not great-gonna cost you a minimum of $8 for 1 load which is twice the cost of the equally clean laundrymat near my house. (I see that washlava does have smaller washers but they are never in working order or turned on when I come). I see that they are renovating soon, so I hope this means more options. Overall though a decent place to do laundry

It was very nice and clean inside however I was disappointed that I had to wait to download an app on my phone to use the washers and dryers. I was even more upset when I saw it was $6 for 1 normal/small washer! Then it top it off, I already inserted the detergent, softener, and bleach when I learned their is so way to actually tell the washer I am washing whites.

No one likes doing laundry, but doing it at washlava is atleast some what refreshing. Clean, quick, all digital so no bothering with quarters. Only beef I have, and this is me being picky, they need to keep orange soda stocked in the vending machine more. But for people only doing laundry, top notch

I have to use a Laundromat every now and again, I have found this Washlava. I like this laundromat because they seem to be the cleanest. I like that it is enclosed and not outside. The machines since I started coming here seem to need some maintenance. I had to look through and find 2 that did not have liquids in the area you put the soap/softner/bleach area. Those seem to need to be cleaned out. The driers aren't bad and they are $2 for 40 mins. The washers I have used (4lb & 6lb) are $6 each wash.

After coming to washlava a few more times I had to change my review to 5 stars. The business is always clean and the staff is lovely. The washers and dryers do a great job at getting everything clean and they are very easy to use! If you are looking for a laundromat, definitely check this one out. Previous review: "I'm currently attempting to do my laundry. Sadly, the reservation option is not useful because people are not removing their laundry when it is complete. Guess I will have to try again when there are fewer people here, or at least fewer inconsiderate people..."

This was my first time at a laundry matt where you need an app to use the washers and dryers. To be honest, it was a great experience! The app made it fun and convenient for my mom and I. The place was clean and the environment was comfortable for us and was made even more comfortable with the easy access to Internet and the charging area for devices. The washers were excellent and the the dryers were beyond excellent! This place is a little gem we are grateful to have discovered!

Every time that I have used Washlava it is super clean. The location is easy to find. Everyone is friendly. The best part is that I don’t need to bring quarters everything runs off of an app. There is a gentleman that comes twice a day to clean Washlava, he does a fantastic and thorough job. Important to know that customers need to down load app to use the machines at wash lava. Other than its a great place to wash laundry. Efficient and easy to use. However I give Wash lava 4 stars for lack of cleanliness

Pretty clean, I rarely visit, only when I need to wash large bedding, I noticed the price went up a dollar for the largest washing machine, 7 to 8 bucks. either way its close, open 24 hours and machines wash well . Would be 5 stars but some dryer doors are loose and luckily have opened on me before paying and starting a cycle .

Beautiful and clean! Both our washer and dryer at home died in the same week. I was forced to find a laundromat. This place is a gem! Most machines are in working order. Charging stations for your cell phone. Fun music! No bugs. Open 24/7. Bathroom is clean. Only "complaint" is that it doesn't accept coins or cash. You can only pay for your washer/dryer with a cc linked to the Washlava app you have to download on your cell phone. It's weird. But cool. And worth the effort for such a nice laundromat.

I enjoy this washing location. Good people, calm environment, clean space most of the time. Today was pretty dirty but it is a Saturday so I understand. Wish they would fix the WiFi. Last 3 times inside it has not worked at all. When you advertise a service such as free WiFi, I would expect to be here. Other than that, thank you for being in this area and serving this community.

Had to go there once when I was moving. Daytime lady at the counter was very helpful. You have to use an app to use the machines but as I was only going to be there once at all, she was willing to take my cash and use her own app to help. facilities are very clean and the dryers have to be the most efficient I've ever seen in a laundromat in this county. if you live in the area and need a laundromat this should be the first place to go to.

Just moving to Tampa and thought doing laundry was going to be a night mare! I thought wrong! This place is fast and convenient! The washers are huge and washes clothes EXTREMELY well! For $1.00 more you can choose to add an extra wash or rinse. The dryers are only $1.50 for 40 minutes of drying time. And with the gigantic mother 2 girls wash loads that I have, it got EVERYTHING DRY AND FRESH! This is not your normal laundry-mat! This place offers an all access and pay through an mobile app on your smart phone! No need for quarters or dollar bills! Pays direct from my debit card straight to the washing machines and dryers. The app tells you when every cycle is done. So if you need to leave for a short time, no worries the machines lock until the complete wash or dry cycle is over! Seriously the best place ever!

Absolutely love this place! So easy to get laundry done a lot cheaper than my Apartments charge and the dryer is phenomenal I never have wet clothes. It's a great idea being able to use the phone and not have to worry about having a bunch of change and the fact that they will wash dry and fold your clothes for you is an awesome convenience especially for families with kids.

Washlava is a really modern and clean laundromat. There is an app that can be used when you wash things which makes it a little easier (and safer) to wash things. They have a lot if machines in various sizes. The extra large washer with a double wash cost $7 and the dry cost $1.50 so it was pretty reasonable.

Just recently moved to Tampa from NJ and very amazed at the cleanliness and the quality of machines 👌🏼 def the beat laundromat I have ever stepped foot in. Only if it had more than one location that would’ve been better. But overall, amazing experience, especially at the fact that no coins needed. Pay all through the app. Simple and efficient! Best laundry experience ever. It's 24 hours and it's air conditioned. You don't have to go get cash or any quarters. It's extremely easy and modern, everything done through the phone app. The machines are great. I love it, I'll always use this laundromat from now on!

Very unique concept! They have an app that you can use and pay using your debit card. No coins are used here. Very clean with a lot of video cameras for security. Washers and dryers were clean and worked well. You can also reserve machines. Prices are a little high but you can't beat the convenience here. I highly recommend this laundromat!!

Our washing machine stopped working on us MID-CYCLE so I had to haul not only all our laundry for this week but also an entirely wet load to a laundromat. It's been years since I've had the "pleasure" of washing laundry any place but home so I did a little reading and found the reviews for Washlava good. Since it's just minutes from my home in Forest Hills I figured I'd give it a spin (LOL). My experience was amazing from the moment I walked in!! Since I'd never been there before I needed a little help navigating the various machines and the Washlava employee who was there was VERY helpful and the Washlava app makes doing laundry painless because it's coin-less! This Washlava location is spotless, has cool music playing and the AC is cool too! If you are in the Forest Hills area and ever find yourself needing a laundromat, drive no further than Washlava conveniently located on Armenia Avenue right before you get to Pine Lake.

One of the cleanest, nicest laundromats I've ever been in. Forget about needing change. This place is totally automated. You download the app and pay for your wash right from your phone. You can even reserve a washer or dryer, taking the stress out of wondering if there will be an available washer/dryer. Best of all the app tells you when your stuff is finished so you don't have to be tethered there. Go shopping or grab a bite to eat and always know the status of your laundry. They also do wash and fold for those that want full service. The WiFi is fast, the bathroom super clean, and the air is nice and cold. I wish I could rate this higher than 5.

I like going to this location to do my laundry. The place is always clean and available 24/7. I am able to do laundry at my convenience. I like the convenience of payment through the app. and receiving receipt directly to my email in a timely manner. Overall I found washlava to be convenient for what I was trying to accomplish tonight. However, being a novice washlava user, I accidentally paid for machine that I did not need. The attendant did not know how to help me delete that machine. I ended up going to my car and pulling out a bunch of towels and other stuff I carry ...just to make sure I wasn't wasting the cost of that machine.. I am still trying to figure out how much this trip cost.. anyway, all said, I will definitely go back. The laundry was clean and seemed covid conscious.

Absolutely amazing customer service!!! I’ve used this laundromat as self serve and drop off and let me tell you, I’m obsessed. The inside is clean and decorated, there is WiFi, and you can pay with your phone-no coins! The owner Tim is amazing! He helped me with a quick turn around drop off laundry so I could be ready for a trip and he even helped me load the finished laundry in my car. I will definitely be back!

Location is convenient, clean and quiet. My only concern is the reserving of machines. It has its pros and cons such as if you're on your way you can reserve your machines. But it's unfortunate for someone who's already there and have loaded the machine and loading additional machines to start all at once and when you come back to pay it now says reserved. Love this place. You don’t have to tote around quarters, guess if its clean, guess if its packed. They even have auto open doors that open if you are carrying a load in. All is done on your phone. I always tend to do laundry late, so the fact that it is a 24/7 laundromat is awesome. There are always open washers and dryers when I go. It's pretty clean and there are places to sit and wait for your laundry to be done. Would definitely recommend it.

Surprisingly pleasant experience at this place - good location, ample parking, automatic doors, well lit inside and out area, safe, comfortable, crazy convenient and unbelievably clean...so I had to say thank you to the lady picking up after people, and helping them with this and that. Gave me some good info (now I am a laundry drop off and pick up customer :) ), just good and effortless customer service. I decided to leave a good review for her but forgot. Well that wasnt the only thing I forgot that day, I also dropped entire set of living room curtains in the parking somehow and forgot and went home. Weeks later I go to washlava again, and this lady, Karen, comes running to me telling me she has my curtains. There they were all carefully folded, covered in a plastic bag, with a note on it to keep it safe for me. She had no way of contacting me, so she just waited to see me back again. I was stunned. Now that's customer service at another level !!! Thank you Karen :)

It is so rare to see a newer - if not new - laundromat. The one in Carrollwood just north of Busch on Dale Mabry just put in a bunch of new machines - but that is about it in terms of newness in any laundromat I have been to save the odd/random new machine I see every now and again. I went a little out of my way to try this place. It is along that stretch of Armenia in the Carrollwood/bordering on Forest Hills area that turns a bunch of times (near Lake Ellen), so I had to pay a little more attention than usual to find it. [I am generally not directionally challenged, but the many turns in Armenia sometimes get me turned around.] They have all brand new machines, it is clean and it is open 24 hours. The dryers only give you 5 minutes for a quarter - a little more expensive than other places. [But maybe they dry more efficiently - cannot tell yet since I have not been there enough times.] The location of the parking spaces to the front door is also the best of any of the many laundromats I have been to in the area. And schlepping laundry in and out is one the major hassles of the laundromat experience. It is super clean and new. This will be my go to laundromat from now on.
