You have to tip your hat to someone so committed to an aesthetic. The day I went in (to wash cleaning rags) the only lights that were on were two fluorescent tubes in the back. If you like roomy (go during off hours) and prefer to stand, this is your place. Is there a millennial Charles Bukowski? This would be his place.

some of the machines have seen better days. but I'm glad this place is open later than other laundromats.

I'll be real with my impressions @ this review -- the place is kind of a dump? A few characters roaming in/out that won't bother you << it's fine. I got in, washed/ dried my clothes and the machines worked terrifically. Three stars plus another half star for the sketch factor/ local flava.

It's not the cleanest nor the closest, but it's cheap enough and most of the machines are operable. I also like the fact that they have a bathroom that's open to the customers. Another thing I not having to worry about if whether or not an attendant will be following me around and generally annoying me. You don't treat customers that way if I am behaving formally and being polite.

Open long hours. 5 am until last load in at 10 makes it very convenient.

The Owner is awesome. The machines work and get your clothes clean. Been coming here for 20 years. Hot water is really hot. The dryers really dry your clothes all for a reasonable price.
