Nice amount of machines and the first Laundromat with an actual tv and seating area. It's a bit on the pricey side and you have to purchase a laundry card to be able to use the machines. My biggest issue was how long it took to dry my laundry. Even with the setting on high. Normally the dryers is where your spending only a fraction of what is spent for washing. That was not the case here. All and all its a decent Laundromat.

When you haven’t done laundry in a while and need to knock it all out at once, this place ain’t bad at all. It has an “8-loader” and several “6-loaders”, along with a bunch of less than “4” and “2” loaders. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Prices are typical, but I like that this place is clean and there weren’t too many weirdos casing your car while you’re in there. The lint in the dryers need cleaning because things didn’t dry for a long time. (I gave up after an hour and left with damp stuff. But it’s Seattle and it was raining, so I wasn’t too worried.) People came in, started their loads, then left for lunch and came back without losing anything. The lady behind the counter got fierce when some rando walked in and started checking out machines and trash cans. But she was very nice to everyone else there doing laundry. People ran into people they knew and I heard conversations in 3 languages at different points. Really chill. All it needed was vodka and a twist. It would have made a rainy Saturday afternoon with 50 pounds of laundry go by faster.

I moved to North Seattle earlier this year. Laundry room within my complex is always busy. Found this place and now come regularly. It's clean and the staff are nice. With cash you can buy a money card and preload it. All washers and dryers have a card reader that takes your payment from your preloaded card. Nice feature to have since I don't like to carry change with me. Last wash is at 7pm. They close at 9pm.

I should ask her name but the lady who worked the closing shift on this Monday is nice as well as helpful. This was my first time here. I arrived at almost 7 which is the time stated for the last load. She helped me with bringing in my laundry. I washed all my bedding including 6 pillows-she didn't bat an eye. I used an 8 loader and a 6 loader. Both washer and dryer were efficient. I will be back as I really enjoyed my experience here! Update: one of the reasons I to go here we're the hours. It closed at 9pm. I asked how long I had to dry and she said about had 20 minutes that would make it 8:15 which would give her time to do her closing duties. I had myself out the door a 8:15. I was in my car preparing to leave and she walked out the door, locked it and got in to her rides car and was gone. Needless to say I found this upsetting because I could have finished drying my laundry instead of taking it up the street to finish it. I readjusted this to a three based on that. 🤔

A enjoyed a wonderful Laundromat experience at this place. It's large, comfortable, very clean, the equipment is well maintained, they have all sizes of washers and at surprisingly low prices. Employees are friendly and very helpful too. I will be a regular customer here for sure.

While our stay in Seattle, we've been here 2 times. The young lady at the counter is so sweet & nice. We didn't want to pay for a laundry card since we won't use it often so we paid her to do our laundry. During this Covid-19 outbreak, they make it clean and have hand sanitizer station, cleaning all the laundry carts and machines after every use. Machines are not overly priced either. There's no restroom, have to go across the street to the grocery store, but this is by far the cleanest and has the nicest staff at any laundromat I've ever been to. Last load time is at 7pm and they close at 9pm.

The staff was helpful and friendly, I needed to be shown what to do and they were happy to help, needed a receipt for a work expense report and even though they don't have any.. he made sure to give me the closest thing to one he could! Not much to the building.. simple layout and most of the washers and dryers worked.

They run a very nice Laundromat here. The staff is helpful with anything that you need and they really keep it clean and comfortable. It's a big place with all size of washers and dryers and good prices too, especially when you get one of their discount cards that actually starts the machines at even lower prices.

Wonderful place to do laundry! There is always an employee there to help you if you need it and they will even watch your things for you if you need to go next door to Safeway while your laundry is still going. Its always busy but they have a lot of machines and a lot of room so its not a problem. The prices are even lower than the Laundromat that I used to go to and they have drop laundry service that I use when I don't have the time to do it myself.

They have the most giant sized washers of any Laundromat that I've ever seen. Good price too, even better if you get one of their discount cards that start the machines for less. Employees all seem friendly and helpful. Nice clean place to hang out while doing laundry with plenty of space, fast wi-fi and a huge television.

Glad a friend told me about how nice of a Laundromat this place is because I won’t go anywhere else now. It’s large, very clean, safe with helpful employees, reasonable prices and the machines work well. They have a comfortable lounge area with a giant TV and also fast WI-FI. There is plenty of parking in front and Safeway is right across the street.

The new Express Washers are absolutely wonderful. They spin so fast that I almost don't even need to put the clothes in the dryer and when I do it only takes half the time to dry a load which saves a lot of money. This place is clean, the employees are helpful and the machines work well so it's easy to see why it's so popular and busy.

I’ve been to some laundromats in the area and I really like this one – it has lots of large washers including a really huge one that I put my family’s comforters in. My apartment complex has only two washers and dryers for an entire building. So I bring everything here and get it all done at once – takes about an hour and a half – and the place is clean and Carrie the attendant is very helpful. -Shellie

First let me say that I use this laundry only for large items. I live in an apartment that has an "apartment size" washer/dryer which is suitable for everyday stuff like clothing and towels. But for larger items like comforters, I need a laundry like this one! In case you haven't noticed, quite a few of these self serve laundry businesses have gone under within the last few year; particularly in the north end of Seattle. That is why I'm happy I found this one. It has several oversize washing machines capable of handling my comforters include two SUPER SIZED ones which have such huge chambers you can do two comforters in one machine! I really don't understand the whining about the laundry card from previous reviewers. It's $3; so what. It's not like you have buy a card each time. You buy it once and don't lose it. Then you just reload it. Besides, if you play your money right (see my tips at the end), the card will end up costing you only $1. The location of the laundry leaves a lot of things to do while you wait for your stuff to finish. Safeway is right across the street and the Inter-Urban trail is very near if you want to take a little walk or walk the dog. Also this laundry offers free WIFI to its customers and there is a large screen TV in the seating area. The staff has been very friendly and helpful the times I have been there. Perhaps the "unhelpful" clerk referenced in an earlier review no longer works there. Tips for using this service: Take a $20 bill with you to buy the card if this your first time. With a $20 bill, the machine will give you a $2 discount on the card and load the rest to your account so the card only ends up costing you $1. Note: two $10's or four $5's will not activate this benefit, so bring a 20. If you use the oversized machines and use them for small items (like socks, underwear, etc) run your hands along all the spin fins after you unload. Every time I have used the oversized machines, I find things in them. The small stuff tends to cling to the sides of the fins and hide from view so check carefully. One downside to this laundry card system - it's cash only. The terminal has the capability to handle debit or credit card but the owners have not activated it. They could really improve this if they would activate the debit / credit card swipe in the terminal. Having said that however, this laundry card is still far better than using coins and having to scrounge up quarters. I like this place and will be a regular customer!

In all of my travels I haven't seen a nicer laundromat. Like the name says "Clean Express" because I was in and out of there in a short time with clean clothes. The lady working there was very helpful and seemed to take pride in keeping the place spotless. Used their WiFi to get some work done while I was waiting and met some nice people that said they had been going there to do laundry for over ten years!

Don't allow customers to use the bathroom. Pretty pathetic for a place where you have to be there for a couple hours. She told me to go to Safeway across the street. Safeway should not have to bear the expense of their customers.

I get my clothes laundry and or drycleaned once if not twice a month. I have been going to random cleaners as I didn't had a preference. I came in to Aurora cleaners the other day and had probably one of the best customer services experience. Minah was the friendliest and most welcoming customer rep I have ever encountered. Their prices are great and they did a fantastic job with laundry and dry clean. I'll definitely be coming back from here on.

I used the drop off service here when our washer/dryer were out of commission. It was such a godsend to drop off our stuff and come get it later on. There is plenty of parking here and the interior is clean and uncluttered. I'll be using this place more often when I have a backlog of clothes to wash.

I have been using the Aurora Clean Express Maytag Laundromat for about 15 years. (My septic system complains if there's a washer on it, so a laundromat is better for me.) During that time, all of the machines have been replaced at least twice. The owner and repairman have stayed the same the whole time, and generally speaking, the equipment works well. If you encounter a problem with one of the machines, your load is restarted for free. All the washers are front loaders, and there are a few sizes of large washers available. I have even washed a 5' x 7' rug there. There is always an attendant on duty, and they usually work there for a few years anyway. I have found the attendants to be helpful and friendly. English is either their first language, or they speak English very fluently. All the washers are wiped down with a cleaner at the end of the day, the lint traps of the dryers are emptied, and the floor is washed. The attendants try their best to keep things clean and tidy during the day, but some customers are slobs, so the place is pretty clean, but not spotless. I have always felt safe there, and unlike some laundromats, the place is devoid of creeps, drug dealers, and unwashed bodies. There is a large flat screen TV that shows regular TV programs and movies. They usually show something for general audiences if kids are around. I would prefer if the volume was lower, so only the people sitting on the couch and actively watching the TV would hear it. The laundromat ostensibly provides WIFI, but neither I nor my daughter have actually been able to get the internet to work with our laptops. (The laptops will say they're connected to the internet, but we can't actually access any webpages.) The machines at the Aurora Maytag use a smart card, rather than coins or credit cards. If you're just passing through town, and only doing a load or two, then the attendant can start your machines for a surcharge. If you think you will ever do four or more loads there sometime in your life, it makes sense to buy a laundry smart card. The card itself costs the customer $3, but if you put a $20 bill on it, you receive a $2 bonus, so the card only ends up costing $1. (The card itself cost the laundromat more than $3, since it has a gold computer chip in it.) The card doesn't expire or lose value, so you can use whatever balance you have left on it for next time. A $10 bill gives you a $0.50 bonus.

Large and comfortable with lots of washer and dryer, good price ( especially with there clean express discount card ) and always a helpful employee there that watches over everything and keeps the place really clean :)

Very Clean, plenty of room, lots of large washers and dryers and always an Attendant on duty to help out and watch over the place. And the bonus is that the prices were even lower than I expected for such a nice place.

Don't let them talk u into having them start your load cuz u will just need to buy a card anyway to dry your close ... They charge 3.25 to start wash for 3.00 load ... Then u have to dry anyway ... If buying card buy 20.00 to get 22.00 put on card
