Roxane DontSendEmailHereThe published description of this washateria states that it "strives to offer a clean environment with well maintained equipment." Well, I can vouch for that. I've never worried about dropping my clean wet (or dry) clothes on the floor while transferring them to any of the machines – all of which were well maintained and frequently updated. The place is immaculate, the staff people are positively adorable, the bright and cheery facility is in a wonderful neighborhood, and the owner allowed my well-behaved dogs to accompany me inside while I worked at my laptop and got my chores done. A true home-away-from-home for me, Babylon will remain a high point of my unexpected and sometimes lonely stay in New Orleans through much of 2021.

Monica M.Most expensive mat I’ve ever been to. Largest washer is 8.25 and dryers are $1.50 for 20 mins each cycle that didn’t fully dry my load. Smallest washer is $4.50. When I accidentally put my money in the wrong dryer, no one was available to refund me my money. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re on a budget.
Sharon HendersonBest laundromat I've found in a long time! The machines actually clean your clothes! The store was spotless as was the bathroom. It is a little expensive, $4.50 for a small load, but no complaints!
Take some small bills, they couldn't even break a $10....

William NolanVery clean inside. The washers and dryers are new and do an amazing job. It does take some money to get all the laundry done, but the machines can take large loads at once.
Liana BoraasMediterranean spot on Maple with decent food. I really enjoyed the beef shawarma which was juicy and came with a salad slide and rice. Unfortunately they left out our "Homemade Bread" side so I cannot comment on it. We got our food to go and did not dine but the place seemed spacious with enough seats. Food was ready in a timely manner (~20 minutes). Giving a 3 star rating as the food was decent and they left out part of our order.
