Very neat, clean, and well operated coin laundry. Like the extra large washers and dryers. Washroom on site. Signage stating the coin changer gives tokens and coins, which was fine w me. I use this facility whenever I am in town and have a load or two to do.

Good morning. Yesterday when I was there all went fabulous for me. One of the big dryers were out of order but since I went early I just used one of the new , smaller ones . Plus one of the money machines wouldn’t take cash . Though ,I continue to love the mega wave. Very please with the facility.

Pros - place is clean and the washers works well Cons- the dryers are a hit or miss. The dryer will stop and give an error (see picture). The fill is below the line and I check the lint and it was clean. This is the 2nd time it happen. 1st time I was in a rush and no one to help so I left with wet clothes and lost money. This time there was a lady and she says she hates these machines and it happens all the time. I ask for a refund and she said she doesn't understand why and I told her I pay and can't use the machine. She give me back in store coins( this laundry mat uses store coins). Not sure if I will come back (only because it was clean and I have store coins now but definitely will not use the dryer anymore)

Great place to do your laundry. Wash machines in multiple sizes to meet your needs. The smallest handle a regular load, medium size machines for up to 3 baskets-full and the biggest for washing comforters. These will fit a queen or king comforter as well as the sheets - costs about $9, but worth it. And regular and large size dryers. These machines are industrial strength, so they wash very well.

Well-managed laundromat, maintained appliances, clean facility, recycling, loyalty rewards program. Due to inflation, prices have increased on the larger capacity machines. Discounted wash & dry on Wednesdays and Fridays. Highly recommend Megawave.

I am a first-time customer of mega coin laundry, as soon as I came in the door I was greeted by a woman named Shirley I had many questions about which were the appropriate size washers to use for my oversized quilts and comforters. Shirley was very helpful in assessing the amount of blankets I had and recommending the best machine. I went to my trunk to get my blankets and Shirley recommended I take a cart so as to reduce the trips. She explained how I could use my debit card to buy tokens to use for the washers, dryers and soap center vending machine. Once my blankets were loaded surely then explained how to connect to the Wi-Fi. This was a great experience this place is really clean with nice machines and a great mini market next door!! I will definitely be back anytime I have oversized laundry that needs cleaning!!!

First time at a laundromat since I was a child and I'd recommend it! I initially went just to wash my king sized comforter but ended up bringing all my laundry. I was able to do 5 loads of laundry under 2 hours. It would've been shorter but I accidentally added time to a dryer. There was quite a few people in there but there were still enough washers/dryers. Cost was good! Wednesday and Fridays the smaller load washers are 1.50 and dryers are 1.00. the only con is that a few washing machines need to be deep cleaned.

Great place to do laundry! We went to wash our huge blankets. The owner was so nice when helping us with the machines. The place was clean, it had wifi, and TVs. Best part was the token machines, I hate having to carry cash/coins and the machine was digital with Apple Pay. 100% a go to place from now on.

First impression count!!!!! The company did & dose more to represent The Megawave. I was very surprised at these following things: Location , cleanliness of business , cost effective for my pockets , staff very professional, & other services provided on Tuesday /Wednesday & Friday’s, May have changed due to Covid, but enjoy going getting in & out, also like discount with use of phone no. (I only give 5 stars to businesses regardless of experience, because I understand that this is someone’s livelihood.) Megawave is incredibly clean and the machines work great. I had an overload of laundry because my rental’s dryer is probably 40 years old. I brought probably 7 loads, and was able to get everything (including lots of large blankets) clean in about 2 hours! Unfortunately there was a strange experience as I left, that will likely keep me from returning. I had left with my husband (I’m using his account to post this review) and toddler to get lunch while the dryers ran and when I returned to collect my laundry in the boxes I had brought stuff in, I was met with an alarming amount of suspicion. I chose not to fold my laundry there, because my husband was waiting in the car with a sleeping kiddo and, with how much we’d brought, I’d rather fold in front of my tv at home anyways. As I was leaving, a man in a camo jacket, that had been staring out the door as I continuously struggled to get things into my car, suddenly became animated as I was about to leave and requested to look at my car. The man circled my car (lingering on my license plates), under the guise of being interested in purchasing a Subaru. I’m not going to make any assumptions about why this man was so suspicious of me specifically (likely thinking I was stealing clothes), but as a young mother, just trying to do my laundry, I felt incredibly unsafe and targeted and will not be returning to this establishment.

I enjoy going to the laundromat, but I don’t like the fact that they don’t have an attendant available. The building was Extremely hot, and my clothes were spinning for the 30 minutes, I took my clothes out and they didn’t dry at all. There was no way of writing down my comments regarding this. Others stated that this one particular machine NEVER works.

VERY good laundromat; I've used them many times. Very convenient hours, and a good location if you live near there. They have a terrific rewards program for repeat customers, and their prices are very reasonable. Unfortunately, the *area* also appears to be a local hangout (possibly because of adjacent gas station), and there can be a lot of smoking outside the building. Not at all the fault of the laundry; the facility is great! Definitely give them a try, just be mindful of outside activity.

I have no idea how they run this place but I came across the same issue more than once across multiple laundromat, very little management. Multiple out of service equipment. This one got me for my quarters and it also serves tokens that don't go into the machine. Very difficult.

Clean, Easily accessible, Free Wifi, surveillance and with a gas station right next door for convenient snacks it's the best laundry mat I've seen in this area. It is over priced however. $8.50 for a large washer. Not a place I'd wash at for everyday use due to the pricing. Also didn't like if you didn't have cash there is only an option to get $10 from your card. Seems steep, would of been nice to have an option for lower amounts. Especially since $8 of it were wash coins and not quarters.

This is the cleanest, most efficient coin laundry in the area! The machines each run three full cycles, unlike 'one cycle' washers in homes and apartment buildings. There are FIVE sizes to choose from, and three dryer sizes as well. I appreciate being able to bring in six full loads of laundry, and can get it completely washed, dried, and folded within two hours! Employees are very friendly and helpful.

Hello, this is the owner of Megawave Coin Laundry-Sorry to hear of your issues. We do regular maintenance on our equipment at the laundromat, and we consistently follow up on any customer complaints. If you can leave a yellow comment card in our mailbox on the service counter, we will promptly follow up with you. If you choose to not provide that information, we are unable to provide a refund, etc. Re: the customer's use of masks, we have signage in the store related to masks being required. We ask/request that customers wear masks, and when I am onsite, I typically see customers properly wearing masks. This is difficult to control.

Very clean and nice. Like that the machines have a 20 min quick wash option. Also the quarter machine has a credit card swipe however if you use cash and more the 1 dollar it will give a mix of tokens and quarters. Other then the tokens this place is great. Unfortunately, I had was forced to listen to CNN Fake news while doing my laundry so I could not give 5 stars. Tired of being force fed BS.

Only one door in, was uncomfortably cold for the warm day we were having. Only 1 bathroom but it is unisex. Has a weird coin and quarter setup for the machine and if you use a card on it. It seems to only give the "change" at $10.00 a go, limit 5 times per day. And again you get a combination of tokens (each worth 1.00) and quarters. None of the machines have card readers on them. So you'll prob end up with some useless tokens when you leave. There is free wifi, but its password locked and the note on the table that has the pass word on it seems to be wrong. I couldn't get on it at all. Decent number of machines with a variety of sizes and prices for the washers. Sadly I had the misfortune of picking the one dryer with a broken button for regular cloths drying. So I had to sit and wait about 90 min for my clothes to dry on one of the other settings. You might ask why I didnt just get my coins out and try a diffrent machine. The coin release button didnt work. And there was NO staff at all in the building to help. The location is decent with a small store to buy snacks at and I think there was a restaurant nearby as well. Gas station in the parking lot is nice to have. Overall this place is a "Meh outta 10". I'm 50/50 on if I would go back.

I went in thinking I'll be spending 4hours doing laundry. I left in 1 30min. Used the big washers and dryers quick wash setting. Very satisfied. The price is worth it and the coins worked at this laundromat.

Clean facility, friendly staff and machines have a variety of capacity. The couple times I had issues with a machine eating my money I left note in their comment box and received a refund. Also really nice that they have a “loyalty club” where after checking in on their tablet for a certain number of visits you get a coupon for $5

I’ve been to laundromats all over the place, and this is perhaps the cleanest and best maintained laundromat I’ve ever used. Never before have I had quilts/comforters dry on the first cycle. Pleasant surprise. The attendant was also very friendly and proactively asked customers if they needed any help. Highly recommended.

Mega wave coin laundry is located in Hopkins. Been a customer since they first opened. They have the greatest customer service and the area is amazingly cleaned. The price for wash and dry is reasonable for any size households. Love coming here to wash my clothes and comforters all at once.

This is written in response to a few of the negative reviews that we have recently noticed. I am one of the owners of Megawave Coin Laundry. We do routine maintenance/cleaning quite often at the laundromat, and we immediately repair dryers/washers soon after we notice they are out of order. Perhaps once in a while there is a machine in need of repair that we are unaware of, but this is an infrequent occurrence. Yes, its possible there can be a machine out of order on a given day--but this is a self serve laundromat, so this is bound to happen periodically. We would be happy to refund any loss due to machine issues--just leave us a note in our wooden mailbox on the service counter. We review refund requests every Saturday, and seek to fix the related machine. Thanks for your continued support of our small business. ! :)

I am at the Hopkins Mega Wave Coin Laundry right now. This is one of the best coin laundries I've ever been too. They have tons of washers and driers, and the washers are so big that you can fit 4 loads in one. The prices are reasonable, the facility is clean, it has free Wi-Fi, and staff on-site to help with questions or needs. Excellent. I will definitely come here again and again. Also, gas station right next door in case I need something to eat or snack on while I do my laundry.

Good prices. Good assortment of machines sizes. Pp Information on washers is hard to decipher in the order displayed. Poor venting- powder soap "dust" and dryer sheet chemical scents stay in air. Place is clean but no one's on duty.

Its clean ,functional and the owner is cool as hell , when you are a new customer. you get to put your phone # and address in this kiosk and you will get 5 washing tokens just from putting your phone # and adress in the kiosk you have to put your info in 5 times. For you to get your free washing tokens.

My girlfriend and I usually go to Megawave once a week to do laundry and it's a great place to get our clothes clean since they have washers and dryers for every size load and they also have wifi. I bring my laptop to use the wifi while our clothes are getting clean. It's within walking distance of the shops on Mainstreet so I'll walk to Driskell's and pick up lunch for both of us. It's a highly recommended place with well-maintained machines.
