Made an appointment on a Monday and was seen at my scheduled time. I was nervous going in since it was my first time having my blood drawn and I tend to get faint at the sight of blood. My phlebotomist was Nenida and she was so sweet, efficient, and experienced. I did start to feel lightheaded, but she talked me through it and got me some water once she was finished. I was in and out within 15 min

If you are nervous about this, ask for Caridad. She was wonderful, kind, and quick. Barely felt a thing and she kept me talking though it as I was very nervous. Only docked a star for the wait time, scheduled for 1pm and was seen at 1:20pm. But other than that, great.

The building is nice and clean and there's plenty of parking. My phlebotomist, Daniel, was amazing. He was kind and efficient, exactly what you want from someone drawing your blood. I don't know if they don't have dedicated front desk staff at this location, but everyone I spoke to at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. However, it seemed like everyone was in a better mood once they were with actual patients so idk. Make sure you bring a mask.

It was difficult to make an appointment that wasn't for a COVID test, online. You can apparently call 1-866-MYQUEST to make an appointment or they have a QR code in the office, that you can scan and it takes you to the correct website. Everything else online seems to direct you to scheduling a COVID or antibody test, but these two options worked for me. Once my appointment was made, everything was easy. The phlebotomist was extremely kind, quick, and efficient. I was in and out in 10 minutes, including all wait time.

I feel like I won the blood draw lottery with the Friday afternoon team today! I arrived as a walk-in, and while I waited, I noted that one of the phlebotomists stopped to help an elderly patient and a Spanish-speaking patient with the sign-in kiosks when they were struggling. Then my own phlebotomist (Nenita F) was an absolute gem. My Dr's office ordered a ridiculous amount of blood for this visit (6 or 7 tubes -- for a patient with a history of passing out during blood draws!). Nenita exuded nothing but patience and positivity while she entered all of the codes and walked me back to an area where I could lie flat while she drew the blood. Her stick was probably the best I've had in my life, barely felt it, and since she knew it was going to take a while to fill all those tubes, she kept telling me stories about her family and asking me questions to distract me. I didn't pass out. Didn't even feel lightheaded, and I was able to immediately drive myself back to work. This is huge for someone like me, and I can't thank Nenita enough.

I was worried to go here because of the low reviews but had a wonderful experience! I made an appointment ahead of time and was 15 minutes early to my appointment. It’s on the second floor and you can check in via tablet. I waited for maybe 5 minutes before I was taken back. My technician was very kind and we had a pleasant conversation. All the staff there were friendly towards me and other people waiting. Remember to be kind to front line workers and be patient as there’s many technicians working!

I HATE having my blood drawn. But this was such an easy experience. I made an appointment, checked in and waited in my car, got a text quickly that they were ready for me and headed inside. I was in and out within minutes. The phlebotomist was wonderful and fast, I wish I had caught her name. Highly recommend, just make an appt in advance.

My by appointment visit went very smooth. The person greeting was very professional and conducted the COVID screening quickly. Within about 5 minutes I was called by the lab tech and she was very professional and went through her processes quickly. I have to say I am one who is organized, follow instructions well, don't "chat up" staff while they are concentrating on their process and reap the rewards of that effort. Thank you.

Made an appointment early morning and everything went great! Clean facility, easy check-in/reminders, and Ida was awesome! I hate needles and blood tests in general but she was very pleasant and knew what she was doing so I was in and out very quickly.

The staff was wonderful. The office was immaculate. My wait time was brief. But this office needs a major step forward in terms of electronic health records. My primary care sent me for routine bloodwork and emailed me an order form. The form had a barcode on it, so at my appointment I tried to show the order form on my phone, thinking they would just scan the code or type in the number. For whatever reason, this office requires a printed order form. Like many people in 2021, I don’t own a printer anymore. Everything is paperless now. You can get on a plane and attend a concert without a paper ticket. I offered to email my form to them to print, but they said they couldn’t do that (despite sitting at a computer with a printer attached to it.) I had to call my doctors office and ask them to fax it over. After waiting 45 minutes for that to happen, I left and rescheduled. I had to go all the way to my PCP’s office and ask them to print it for me. There may be a very good reason why this office requires paper forms, but I would encourage management to make that specific requirement more clear during the scheduling process, and consider that many patients may not have easy access to a printer.

Smoothest blood draw experience I've had in 15 years. Ida was AMAZING, I don't do well with needles in general, she was kind and patient and made sure I was comfortable before and after. If I could go to her every time I would. Also waited less than a minute to get called back.

Extremely convenient hours accommodated my early morning work schedule. I arrived at 6:00, signed in, completed the doctor's order, and was on my way to work by 6:15. Staff was professional courteous and quite cheerful for early morning. Wonderful experience and I will visit them again.

A bit hard to find in the dark at 6am since it's in a Children's Surgery building and there is no Quest signage, but was easy breezy once I found it. Only a few people in line and I was checked in and had blood drawn by 6:15. Suggest doing your check in online before arriving to speed up the process. They don't seem to take appointments for the early hours, unfortunately.

It's mostly a gamble, I've had great lab techs helping me. And others I'm left with a 4 inch bruise on my arm. If another lab tech needs to talk to a person taking a blood sample, wait until they are done. I was left with the tourniquet to the point my hand couldn't even do the fist. I miss the guy that previously helped me, I wish I had his name. He never left me a bruise and found my vein quickly. I understand they have a bunch of people helping, but I rather they take the time to do it right than rushing through the patients. My bruise is blood red and it hurts to move my arm. Just please be careful

Everytime we have gone to ANY other lab to get tests done for my wifes surrogacy testing we get turned away or told they dont do it but THIS location has always taken us AND got our results same day to the fertility clinic which is MASSIVELY important cause it makes the difference of a successful transfer or not. Ida WAS THE NICEST TECH WEVE WORKED WITH WITHING AN HOUR OF OUR HOME!! She has helped us both times and is always very nice and efficient! Cant say enough great things about her!!

Being new to Tampa, other people’s reviews were important to me in choosing whether or not to go to this specific Quest. It is located on the 2nd floor of the building, not too hard to find. I showed up as a walk in at 7:30am and waited around 30 minutes to get taken care of. Not the quickest Quest I’ve ever been to, but if you’re not in a hurry or you show up even earlier it shouldn’t be an issue. Very clean space and friendly, professional staff.

If you are a walk in I would advised going as early as possible. When I arrived the waiting room had six people. I checked in at 8:20 am was seen at 8:35 am and left at 8:50 am. As I was leaving I noticed that the waiting room was starting to get packed. So to avoid extended wait times it is my opinion to try and get there early.

Despite not having an appointment the Quest staff permitted me to be a walk-in patient. I am appreciative of the efficiency, courtesy and professional manner in which they treated me. Thank you.

I had to go to Quest Diagnostics to get blood drawn, and it was the best experience I’ve had when it comes to that. The wait time was short, the whole visit was pretty quick, and the person who had it done, Ken (I think his last initial was S), was super kind and helped me through the whole process! Definitely will come back!

Super grateful for the staff here today! Had a lot of issues getting my doctor to fax over my paperwork and they were super patient and still helped me despite being very busy, definitely appreciate it a lot!

Hopefully this will help someone else. There is now no way to directly contact any Quest location via phone. All calls are sent to a national center which has no way of contacting a particular location. There are no longer receptionists but kiosks (according the national folks). So we were unable to get our question answered without physically going in. No experience with this particular location (as we weren't able to even contact them). Very disappointed with this from a customer service perspective, however.

This is the best office there is! Their phlebotomists are compassionate, and they keep a good flow going. On two different occasions I was feeling sick and they gave me water and a snack to help me feel better. They are always friendly, and I really enjoy going there. I hope they are being well compensated for their hard work. Very impressed.

Folks need to be aware that your experience with just about any lab will vary greatly depending on what time you go. Google maps tells you most place's busiest hours in a graph. If at all possible, try and go during a slow hour. I arrived at this Quest location at 2:30pm on a Wednesday without an appt. They put all my data in the system (1st time ever at any Quest) and I did the sample of #1 and had blood drawn and was back in my car well before 3pm. Sweeet! (and yes, I washed my hands well! lol) Very clean and cozy place. The room where they draw your blood even has a great view. Glad I picked this location. I only saw one single employee there during my visit, so obviously if even one other person would have been ahead of me, I might be singing a different tune. But anyhow, staff member was very friendly, and a seasoned phlebotomist. Zero pain.
