As a native Washingtonian, I have had experience with many different jewelers and jewelry stores in the area over the years. Boone and Sons is by far the best. I trust them completely for purchases and repairs. The staff is professional yet warm, extremely knowledgeable, and willing to take time to assist you. The new and the estate jewelry they carry is beautiful and fairly priced. Today I encountered Debbie Rowan, who was incredibly helpful, warm and skilled, taking the time to help me and educate me. Best customer service one could imagine! Thank you, Debbie. I will be back.

Back in 2003, I went to my best friend and asked them where I should go to get a quality ring for my fiance. He told me that he too had the same question prior to his wedding, and it was told to him to go and visit Boone & Sons. He did, and suggested that I do the same to ensure I would get what I had desired for my soon to be wife! I visited Darrel and Shawn in Chevy Chase and I'm glad I did! I've been a customer of theirs for over 16 years and I've bought several pieces of jewelry for my wife and I. Darrel and Shawn truly became extended members of our family! Their customer service is absolutely the best in the business, as they always treated every customer with respect and with love, no matter how much you spent. I simply wanted to get the best ring I could for my wife, and they indeed helped me to do that. That's why I will not go anywhere else in this area but Boone & Sons to get any jewelry. I've since purchased both of my wife's custom wedding rings and she was completely happy with them and routinely gets compliments to this day for the work they did!

I knew nothing about engagement rings prior to my visit here. In three days, I left with an awesome ring and a lot of knowledge when it comes too diamonds. The three days was to pick out everything with more options. The purchase could have been made quicker. The customer service is top notch. The day after the proposal, my fiancé scratched the platinum band rock climbing and the staff here made the repair to the band. Overall, I would recommend this store to anyone.

These people are the best. I went in with no idea what I wanted and a loose diamond for an engagement ring. Various people helped me design a custom ring and it turned out perfectly. I showed up on Monday evening with my new engagement and wedding rings that I needed to get resized. Everyone was super helpful and got my order written up with plenty of exclamation points to explain that it was a new engagement ring and they wanted to get it back to me quickly. They called me Tuesday once the jeweler was in and let me know the rings would be ready Friday. Then they called me Thursday afternoon to let me know my rings were ready now! I just picked them up and they fit perfectly and you can't tell they were ever a different size. This store is so much better than going to a big name place in a mall. If I ever have any other issues with my rings I am definitely coming back here.

I first walked into the Chevy Chase location in 2006 in search of a jeweler who could mount my now wife’s grandmothers diamond onto an engagement ring. I was reluctant as I had already visited the McLean and DC locations just to find folks who didn’t even want to give me the time of day. As I arrived, I was pleasantly greeted by Peter and proceeded to assist me with my needs. He was kind, courteous, and nothing but a true professional. He quickly advised me, and we proceeded to get the diamond mounted for the big day when I would pop the question. After she said yes, we returned to B&S for our wedding bands. Peter once again helped design custom platinum bands for my now wife and I, and we couldn’t have been happier with the suggested designs and the outcome. To say that Peter is a gentleman and a scholar doesn’t do him any justice. Peter from the bottom of our hearts I say to you Thank You.
