In general, I have a lifelong hatred for pawn shops, but Hilltop Pawn is different. Over the last four years I've used them quite a few times, both to purchase high end jewelry (a vintage diamond ring), and as an occasional loan customer -- and I've always been satisfied. If you walk in needing a loan, they treat you like a valued customer and a trusted friend -- not like riffraff that should be taken advantage of before you can screw them over. They are fair, friendly and a true pleasure! This culture and attitude of service is set by their manager and emulated by every employee -- sadly, I don't know her name, but the first time I dealt with her I knew she was biggest gem in that store, and I cursed time that I wasn't 25 years younger. So hey, don't be afraid to drop-in!

Wow! I was so excited to find out that I was the give away winner. I was a little bit leary as I had a different idea of what a pawn shop would be like. Hilltop Pawn is certainly not at all what I was expecting. This place is first class. They have every kind of jewelry you could imagine and it all looks beautiful, shiny, and brand new. The young ladies who work there are super sweet and helpful. They really made me feel special. I would never go to a jewelry store again to purchase any item. Really great service and they definitely give you the best prices! Great if you're in a pinch on bills and you can always buy it back when you are able to for a low additional fee (the lowest I've seen in at least 3 states). Plus their inventory is really nice, I would purchase any wedding jewelry there as well too. Their diamond ring selection is amazing and really low prices (my dad was a jeweler, I know what things should cost, I was raised in that world). I'd buy an engagement ring from them before I went anywhere else.

This was my first time going to a pawnshop for a loan so naturally I had a lot of concerns about pawning my personal items. The staff was great and able to answer all of my questions. I was hoping for a little more than what they offered but the amount was fair considering what I brought them wasn't exactly high quality so I can't complain about that or say I feel taken advantage of. (Don't worry, it was a loan, not a sale so they won't be selling you my low quality jewelry). The process was quick and easy. Went in about 2 weeks ago to do some ring shopping and it was ridiculous how nice of a selection they had. I found the perfect ring for a great price but still wanted to see if I could find something else in the area that I liked. Oh my goodness today I picked up my bracelet I won in the giveaway and it is absolutely beautiful. I had heard of the store but had no clue where it really was Then one day last week on Facebook a friend of mine posted about the giveaway so I decided to try it and what do you know I won! I went in about a year ago and bought a very beautiful set of earrings. I had fantastic service from a very helpful and cool salesman Dane. He made the proccess super easy, quick, and I got a great deal. After talking to his manager Amy, he got me $100 of the sticker price. A year and a half go by and my girlfriend and I split. She gave me back the earrings and I went to return the earrings for some extra cash, and it was just as easy. Dane was working and helped me right away. One earring back was replaced and they were a little scuffed up. I didn’t think i would get much but I learned that Hiltop Pawn has a half back policy. I traded the old earrings in for some crispy new bills. I am definitely sending my friends to Hiltop Pawn.

She showed me her inventory and brought me over to look at a simple satin finish platinum band. I thought perhaps my sister in RI might be interested (she was not) but Katie patiently allowed me to explore the ring as an option for myself, to compliment my platinum / diamond bands. She knew it's weight, size, purity and offered her loop to me several times. I'm a hard sell. I've been a jeweler for over 20 years, having worked all over the world. I have a 1 carat solitaire that I have used to get a loan many times at another pawn shop here in town. I went in there this morning to get a loan and asked for $800 when I normally get 7. The same man I have dealt with for two years told me 700 was the limit. I left and came here because I see Glenda on the commercials. She wasn't in the store when I got there but the young lady Rebecca was very nice. I asked how much I could get and after about 2 mins looking at it told me up to $1100. Two times now you guys have saved my ring. When I was seventeen, my dad gifted me a beautiful sapphire & diamond ring. After his passing I tend to cherish, and cling to everything he was a part of. The ring is 26 years old now, and has taken a beating. Last year I lost a sapphire, and noticed the prongs starting break around the big sapphire. I brought my ring in and you guys replaced the missing sapphire, fixed all of the cracked/broken prongs & shined it up for me. Once returned, it looked brand new again. Fast forward a year, while at work, my ring got caught on something, bending the underside of it. Against my better judgement I didn’t take it to get inspected and lost a(nother)sapphire within a month. Because of my last visit I brought my ring back to you guys, and AGAIN you replaced the sapphire, fixed the bend, polished it & checked the integrity of the rest of the ring.
