His knowledge of the diamond business and his confidence in finding the perfect ring settled all nerves and further excited me for my big day. John has a customer for life. The atmosphere at The Diamond Family was superior to all other jewelers I had visited. I was promptly greeted and offered a beverage and a comfortable place to relax until John was available to meet with me. I cannot recommend John and The Diamond Family enough. I came into the diamond family before Christmas and was able to get a single, loose family heirloom diamond (gifted to my daughter by my now late mother) set into a necklace for a very affordable price. Lauren was able to help me right away upon walking in and showed me all of my options so that I could choose the ones best suited for my daughter. My visit was both pleasant and efficient. I was able to come back within mere days to pick up the new necklace that was for my daughter, for Christmas. They sent me off with it in a gift box equipped with a tiny light that shows off all it's glory. Thank you, Lauren and all the Diamond Family for helping to make this Christmas a special one for us.

Hands down was the best experience I have ever had with a jeweler. Lauren was amazing. She was so helpful and kind. I had a hard time choosing the type of wedding band I wanted and she was patient and helped guide me to exactly what I dreamed. I had a custom band built that was affordable. I was greeted by Edgar and he was very personable and casual but friendly and professional. I asked about any Claddah rings and he showed me two. Explained their gold content and said they could size it for me and have it ready by Tuesday since I needed it when I left town. He also informed me about the Valentine special I qualified for, although he forgot to give it to me before I left; but I was able to call and arrange to pick it up later….it was a good experience and a decent price for what I bought.

After several disappointing trips to various other large-name jewelers in the St. Louis area, we thankfully found The Diamond Family. Visits to other stores in the previous months left us uninspired; poor customer service, sparse inventory levels and very few designs to choose from (we were searching for a Men's wedding band). The only other great experience we had was at Tiffany's at the Plaza Frontenac, but their pricing was out of my budget, for the material I wanted. After a final disappointing outing to West County Mall, I Googled jewelry stores nearby and found The Diamond Family - highly rated at an impressive 4.9 stars out of hundreds of reviews. The moment we entered The Diamond Family showroom, we were warmly greeted by Michael and were even offered a drink (my fiancé gladly received a glass of scotch) while we browsed their inventory. The first thing I noticed was that they have a much larger selection of men's wedding bands than anywhere else we had looked. Various metals, designs, accents - there were plenty to look through. Michael went over their preferred line of wedding bands based upon my fiancé’s style and gave ring material suggestions as I considered different price points. In the end, we found the perfect 14kt white gold band, in an extreme comfort setting. Their rings are made to order, and ours was ready for pick up just five days after ordering. I would highly recommend The Diamond Family to anyone looking for a high-quality and expansive selection of men’s wedding bands. We were treated kindly in a zero-pressure environment, and I walked out spending twice as much as I had intended – with absolutely no regrets. My fiancé’s ring is perfect!

Their associate, Kate Sebek was a great deal of help to me in wading through my options for assembling the ring. She has wonderful tastes and seemed to be able to read my mind for exactly what I wanted. The ring I ordered was a 1 carat purple sapphire in a palladium solitaire setting decorated in a Celtic style knot design, came out quite lovely and perfectly complimented the wedding band that I had already purchased. Beyond WOW’d every time I step foot in this store! I feel funny even calling The Diamond Family a store, because it feels more like walking in to your best friends family living room. Each and every staff member is pleasant, friendly and accommodating. I’ve never not been offered a beverage which is a top notch touch. Today my fiancé and I stopped by to pick up my wedding band and to pick out his. I tried my band on and WOAH, was it beautiful! It was the exact size that was ordered however, it needed a slight adjustment to be smaller. The ring was taken to the back along with my engagement ring. During this time we shopped for my fiancé’s band. Not once was a ring that we weren’t interested in pushed on us and after my fiancé described what he liked, they pulled out three perfect bands. The hardest part was actually picking one out of the three because all of them were amazing. Once we found “The one” and it was time to pay. I was extremely pleased with the price and thought it was beyond fair, and I also chose to have engraving done. By the time we were finished my engagement was returned, more sparkly then ever, and my wedding band was adjusted and fit perfectly! You couldn’t even tell that the band had been resized, there was not a mark or blemish whatsoever. And they make sure your jewelry is always shinning bright by sending jewelry cleaner home with you. To say that both my fiancé and I are pleased with The Diamond Family is an understatement. They will forever be our go to store for all of our jewelry needs. Lauren Huskey was the one who called me about the contest, and who worked with me when I went in with a friend to "look at options" for my now fiance. My fiancee and I went into The Diamond Family's store a few months ago as part of our window shopping spree to figure out what type of rings she liked. While other stores gave us lots of options and showed us various styles, cuts, and ring sizes, Alex took the time to explain how diamond pricing and the diamond industry worked. After researching on my own to make sure I wasn't getting a sales pitch, I was impressed with Alex's honesty. I went back about 2-3 months after the first visit to investigate rings options, and Alex remembered me by name. We went over diamond options and were able to get some diamond options in to compare. It was very easy to work with him through email to coordinate times and a number of options, and when I came in it was quick and easy, Here's the stone, here's it's ratings. Check the eye test, pick the one. Got a great diamond at a fair price. Settings are more subjective based on the lady's preference, but their online "virtual" stock makes it easy. A fair amount of the options are already in store, and any others they can get quickly. If you're into designers, they can get some of those too, and even have some exclusivity to make a ring unique. The best part is that they are willing to try any reasonable idea of stone in setting, but will also give you an honest opinion. I put a cushion in a round setting, Alex said he was doubtful it would work, but Mike said he had done it and that it should work. Their experience and teamwork really shows. Go here, and ask as many questions as you want; they will do their best to get you an honest and complete answer. I'm very satisfied with my purchase in both regard to quality and value-- and most importantly, my fiancee loves it.

When I started looking for a ring to propose to my wonderful fiancee, I looked through a lot of jeweler reviews, as I knew there are a lot of shysters out there. I found a ton of awesome reviews for The Diamond Family, so I thought I'd poke my head in and check it out. I am not a jewelry guy at all, but the first thing Mike did was sit me down and showed me diamonds, educated me on the 4 C's, was extremely transparent about how they priced things, and just made me feel at ease! The best part was that I never felt pushed or pressured towards anything particular - it was more like Mike was preparing me for my search, regardless of whether I went with his store or not As it turns out, my fiancee wanted something pretty unique - a rose gold setting with a Morganite as the main stone. Nobody had something quite what I was looking for in stock, but Mike was super helpful in tracking down a setting and some stones that would work. We were up against the clock, as I had a particular date in mind for the special proposal. Mike showed a lot of patience as I arrived at a decision (and I'm not a quick decision-maker!). Anyway, the ring turned out perfect! They even gave me a cool box that lights up the ring inside when you open it! Kaitlin LOVED it and has not stopped getting compliments on it! As a full disclaimer, I do get a gift card for doing this review. However, there was no condition on whether the review had to be positive or not. In perfect honesty, I cannot recommend these guys enough!

That all changed with my visit to the Diamond Family. Micheal and his staff were so welcoming and helpful from start to finish. Every place I had been I had left with the feeling that I was about to be "taken" and that there had to be more for money out there. Sitting in their design room I was shown multiple. multiple, Diamonds and walked through what I should be looking for. Not that other companies don't do this, because they certainly do, but Mike was more in depth with me about every aspect of the decision. This personalized service is rare. I left after my first visit without making a decision and unlike every other store I had been in, I didn't receive 15 phone calls asking if I was coming back in or ready to make a purchase. The Diamond Family knows their service and product qualities are unmatched and high pressure sales is a tactic they don't need. Finally, upon returning to The Diamond Family to make my final purchase I felt completely comfortable with my purchase. I was able to get roughly 40% more Diamond for money compared to other local jewelers!!! If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know then nothing will. The setting was beautiful, the Diamond sparkles perfectly, and my experience was wonderful all around. Most importantly, my now fiance absolutely loves everything about the ring! Again, I can't say enough good things about Mike and The Diamond Family. I was recommended to this shop by a coworker and upon entering the store, I instantly felt welcome here. Several employees greeted me right away and got me in touch with Mike, whom I was advised to see. Mike took such good care of me from start to finish. When I first went in the store, I had no plans of buying and Mike knew that but insisted on spending a good hour or so of his busy day showing me style after style and describing all the possible options for custom rings. After all this, my heart was still set on a ring that I had found on the company website but I wasn't sure what size stone I wanted or if I would even like it in person. Mike put all my fears to rest when he went out of his way to order both a .75ct and 1.0ct setting just so I could see and compare in person. The two settings arrived just days later and they both had every bit of brilliance that the website depicted. I was torn between using a family diamond that was .71ct or upgrading to a larger 1ct stone but there was going to be a very large price difference. Mike really shocked me when he suggested that I save money and go with the family diamond. He had put aside the sales of business at this point and I could really feel as though he was truly looking out for me at this point. A few days later, the ring was sized and ready for me to pick up. Much to my surprise it came in this absolutely stunning black leather box with a small LED light in it that shown on the stones like a jewelry store's lighting. I proposed in the dark at a Christmas light display and this box made that moment just so very perfect. I would recommend Mike and The Diamond Family time and time again. I just proposed a week ago and we are already going back to see him for wedding bands this week. The Diamond Family is the only jewelry store in STL that I will purchase jewelry from. Mike Haddad, is a wonderful educator and is especially fabulous in designing pieces that meet your dreams and expectations. They’re also reasonably priced and a very trustworthy family to do business with.
