The money shop is loaded with every kind of currency you can think of. The staff are very knowledgeable and can explain the details around the different types. Many pieces date back to the 1800's. It's like walking through history. However, we actually went to take our grandson to the model train display. They have a very large layout with many trains running. There is so much detail you can walk around many times and still see something new. He enjoyed it so much he did not want to leave. I highly recommend stopping by on one of the Sundays they have it open.

I was introduced to Midwest Money Coin Shop by my brother Shannen while visiting from Florida. Great place with a wonderful selection. Left the store happy with a nicely toned Silver Morgan Dollar, Standing Liberty, a couple of harder to find Ancient coins and a few other treasures! Was very pleased with my experience. Helpful and friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Was too busy looking around though to snap any interior photos..lol.

Great store with great inventory as far as buying 5 stars. Selling they're more fair then most places except when it comes to diamonds. I took a real nice old 18kt diamond ring and the diamond was pretty big, and was given a price for the gold but told the diamond wasn't big enough to be worth anything more then it's weight in gold. I decided to get a second opinion at a diamond buyer and sold the diamond for $750 and the band for $190. Midwest money's offer was $215. I've sold and bought from Midwest several times and would recommend it for scrap gold and silver

Went to a coin store a couple blocks up before going to this one and it was like night and day. Midwest Money are absolute gentleman and are very knowledgeable I will definitely be returning. Staff were absolutely cordial and Incredibly polite. If you're a coin collector stop by the store!

I came here because of their high Google rating in the beginning and thank you google because I was not disappointed with the service I received. I did come late however and the woman was a little bit cranky it seem like with me however the gentleman that took a couple of my stones out for me before selling was very very kind and they definitely made it a good experience.

Lots of old coins, well organized but if you wanna buy, price kinda high. Collectors can buy for collection purpose only, not for selling and making money coz store already overprised its products. parking space very very small, hard to park car.

I went to Midwest after going to Hampton jewels. They actually were closed, but still let me in. They DEFINITELY gave me more than prior establishment. They are VERY knowledgeable and are very fair. If, you have something you think is valuable,and they don't want to buy. They will explain why. With out making you feel like an idiot. I don't know why I tried another place? I guess just curiosity of what someone else would offer. I should of known better. Midwest, to this day has been the most fair and educational place in my area. And, the pups are pretty awesome too!

I've gone to every coin shop in the St. Louis area and Midwest Money is by far my favorite. It has a very personal amosphere and a great selection to look at whether you're just starting to collect or you have been for years. They are also always fair on the price when buying or selling. A lot of the other shops I've been to are either overpriced, impersonal, or rude. If you're looking to become a regular at a coin shop where you are treated with respect and feel welcomed, I recommend Midwest Money Co.

They however didnt quite want to bring out some things I was potentially trying to buy. If you are a coin collector i would recommend you check it out. I'll definitely go back to sell things.

Very neat trains set up ,a but cramped by can see ALL the trains and area in which it set up as. Great grandkids loved in so did the parents. They have little benchs so kids could use them (very nice) gets the kids up eye level so they see. Everythig was very nice Except no public bathroom that I could see.

The staff here are friendly but I think they can be slightly better on giving fair prices for buying, and I'm not a fan of being locked in their store when selling items or looking to buy items, this area of south st.louis isn't that bad.
