I needed to sell some of my wife's old jewelry, and I have to admit I was hesitant to go to a pawn shop because of the way they are depicted in movies/tv shows and the reputations some of them had when I was growing up. Crown Pawn completely surprised me, and I left thinking, "This is incredible. Why haven't I been in here before? Are all pawn shops like this?" First off, everything is clean, tidy, and organized. Secondly, the staff is incredibly friendly. Customer service is top notch. Thirdly, they conduct business in a fair, open, and honest manner. At various times I spoke with Mike (owner) and Marcela, both of whom were courteous and gave me as much time as I wanted, but it was Manuel who really helped me understand the process of selling jewelry to a pawn shop, how they value items, where they go, etc. He wrote down every piece he bought in great detail (description, weight, metal), and even encouraged me to shop around if I wanted to. I felt so comfortable with him and there, that I knew this was where I wanted to do business. I came back home telling my family about it, encouraging them to go there if they need to sell or buy (couldn't believe some of the deals they had there). Highly recommend going to Crown Pawn no matter what, but especially if you're a newbie like me and feel somewhat hesitant. I seriously doubt you'll have a bad experience, and you may even walk away with a new item for yourself or some money in your pocket.

I was greeted by the amazing staff and CLEAN environment (which I find rare at many pawn shops), and Kora helped assisted me with my items. She was confident, kind and helpful. Really classy pawn shop. Not the usual pawn shop with junk scattered about with speakers stacked on speakers all over. Was really impressed. Marie was super professional, friendly, and easy to work with. In and out in 10-15min but that was actually pretty quick because we had to get our item authenticated. But please think of Crown Pawn as your friendly neighborhood store regardless of your location. Not just a intimidating pawn store. I have to drive over forty miles to shop there. The owners and staff are all kind and extremely knowledgeable. They will do their best to make your shopping experience a pleasant one. And at the best prices possible. They carry some of the highest quality jewelry in Utah at a fraction of the cost found at Shopping Mall's and Jewelry stores. They have a fabulous inventory that includes everything from musical instruments to Harley Davidson jackets. I've observed them helping individuals with pawn transactions. They treated those costumers with kindness and respect. The pawned items were safely stored and protected until it could be picked up. Crown Pawn has Sales on the store items from time to time. The prices on those store items can't be beat. I encourage everyone to ask to be added to the Sale notification list. Then add Crown Pawn to your go to store before going to crowded over priced stores.

Not to insult the word pawn, but I never felt like I was in a pawn shop and not dealing with a shyster, I mean a broker, lol. Many "Pawn Shops" look run down, don't care about appearance, and most employees make you feel like they are doing a you a favor by allowing you to buy something form their business. Crown Jewelers and Pawn is far from your typical store that may fall within that culture. It is a clean and inviting retail store. Although most items may be used/gently used, the products are always in good condition. I have made several purchases from this business. To top it off, it's not only the products that keep me coming back. The owner, managers, and employees make you feel welcome. They are friendly and always willing to help with anything you need. They have knowledge of the products, and make great, real-life recommendations. Plus, they offer warranties on their products! They stand by the products they represent. I just went into this pawnshop for the first time. I was immediately welcomed by a worker on a ladder and another employee helping him. Then again when I turned the corner by another employee. They were very attentive and asked if I needed help. The employee Mike was very friendly and asked if I needed help. I also noticed the employees welcome another team member into work a very positive work enviroment!. I found out there loans are lower percentage rates then most! I looked around at jewelry and other selections they have great variety of things they offer. The prices were on point especially since I shop a lot at different pawn shops. They are having a 50 percent off sale on black Friday so I am going to try and make it in!. When I was leaving Mike gave me a mug and told me to come back in sometime. Customer service like that make you want to come back every time. Finding out they are family owned makes it even better! I will definitely be back and support this shop!. I had a few gold items I had amassed over the last couple years (couple broken necklaces & earrings, teeth caps, etc) looking to sell for weight. Pawn agent was quick to assist me, processed everything in timely manner, and gave what seemed a fair market price. She answered all my questions and addressed several unrelated to transaction at hand. The shop seemed much cleaner than your average pawn shop with satisfactory COVID measures by all employees and shop overall. Only downside I can cite and reason for 4/5 rating would be the melt weight price for silver, which is well below market prices, but a minor issue all things considered. Good shop; I reckon I’ll conduct future business....

I have been doing business with Mike and the staff since 1997. This is the only shop I will do business with in Utah. Everyone is incredibly polite, all transactions are completely professional and you can feel comfortable while doing your business (unlike with other places). I know they will slap a 180 dollar price tag and it will sell quick. Low balled him good. We left. Highly doubt I will go back. If I do i will not deal with him again. Good selection on items!
