Wonderful experience at Springer's Jewelers this afternoon. I was given a watch from my employer but when it arrived it was not sized correctly. As it turned out Springer's Jewelers carried the product line of the watch brand that I was given. Conveniently, Springer's also has an easy online appointment scheduler. I was able to schedule an appointment for the following day. I was prepared to discuss the service that I needed with the expectation that I would need to leave my watch and that it would be looked at some time in the next few days or possibly even a week. But to my surprise I was directed to a wonderful and extremely knowledgeable sales professional, Kelly Hersom. Because of Kelly's experience with watches she was able to size my watch band during my initial appointment. Kelly and the others at Springer's Jewelers were extremely pleasant and helpful making my visit a very pleasant one. I would certainly encourage anyone looking to purchase a nice time piece or fine jewelry to start their search at Springer's Jewelers you won't be disappointed!

I met Katie about a year ago we bonded over Rolex instantaneously! She was very informative regarding the process and was transparent about it. We stayed in touch throughout the year with constant check-ins and Katie was always keeping me in the loop regarding my watch. I never had to worry about “when will my watch arrive”. Katie is super helpful, very knowledgeable and a breath of fresh air when it comes to luxury service! I care about service, and I was met with amazing service by her. I had an excellent experience today at Springer's. I needed a new watch reduced in size to fit me. Scheduled an appointment on line with a very early date. I thought that I would have to drop off the watch and return. However the Springer employee handled the repair so efficiently, including a free polishing of a ring, that the job was done and I was out the door in a total of 12 minutes! Courteous and competent.

Katie and the staff at Springer’s Jewelers are exceptionally kind and friendly. For anyone new to watches, it can be very intimidating! Sometimes you may not know which options are right for you or the right questions to ask. Katie did a great job diffusing any awkwardness (all really on my side) and being very welcoming. She was clearly well-versed and not only answered any questions I had but preemptively shared a lot of information with me as well. She also let me try on several time pieces and walked me through all of the differences and features. Katie was also very transparent with the overall buying process due to the high demand of the time piece I was interested in. I have a high bar for customer experience and I strongly recommend working with Katie so she can advise and guide you in choosing the right piece with confidence! Will definitely be sending local friends and family this way. I also love that they can communicate with you through texting, something that may seem trivial but is extremely convenient. It is a nice store and Jennifer was great. While I was dealing with a watch issue, my wife looked around and found some beautiful ear rings ( for a future purchase). The only reason for not 5 stars is parking or lack of parking. The store is in downtown Portland and it was difficult finding parking. Plan ahead time-wise to search and walk a bit back to the store.

Amazing experience at Springer’s jewelers in Portland… My family and I went to visit ME for the foliage past weekend. I decided to contact Springer in Portland a few weeks ahead before the trip and asked for help finding Rolex watches for a very special occasion gift to my son and my wife. I had such a great experience working with Kelly. She was professional, accommodating, and really cares for her customers wishes. The store didn’t have the watches that we were looking for, but Kelly kindly offered another beautiful timepiece that I couldn’t refuse and ended up buying it for my son. Shout out to Caroline A. for providing excellent customer service. A pair of earrings had gone up in price on the jeweler's website ($410, damn inflation). I was thrilled to have come across Springer's who offered it at the previous price point ($385). I pointed out the increased price, but Caroline still honored it at $385 AND a Yelp deal! I ended up saving more $ vs. purchasing directly from the jeweler. Couldn't be happier. Pls don't hesitate to reach out!

I received a Springer's watch as a gift a few years ago. Any time it needs a new battery it's taken care of with no charge. Today I needed a minor repair to the watchband. Springer's has been the only jeweler I've gone to for my jewelry needs. I had some pieces I wanted rehabbed, and I had family stories around them that had been passed down about them for a few generations. Much to my surprise and mild dismay, what I thought were real pearls were not, and what I thought was a topaz was glass! I got a terrific and interesting education about how often people in the early 20th c. gave paste as gifts, with no loss of the dignity or preciousness of the items. I was thrilled and so interested. When I discovered that my mother's (and her mother's before her) topaz ring was glass, I took a leap and replaced it with a real garnet, a beautiful garnet. It was the right thing to do, and now the story of this ring, that I adore and associate with my beloved mother, who we all lost way too young, and which is inscribed on the inside band with 11/24/1877, is all the more interesting, especially since anyone who knows anything about that date is long dead. Story is everything with jewelry. Everyone should have one thing with a good story about it. Springer's understands this. Plus, I was assisted by experienced experts, who are friendly and welcoming. On top of that, browsing made my mouth water. Go there!

Great folks! Great service! Got a ring re-sized and tried on a $25,000 Rolex just cuz. Why not? I assured them I was just curious and not serious, but they treated me professionally. They were well educated on the Rolex brand. Go somewhere else if you want to try stumping their salespeople. They have a very knowledgeable staff. Looking for jewelry? Save yourself a ton of time and just go to Springer’s. I fired a ton of questions at them and they were all answered on the spot. Make an appointment and you’re in. COVID conscious they are, too.

I went to Springer's on the recommendation of a friend with very little understanding of the engagement ring process; Kelly Hersom greeted us warmly and walked us through our options in an extremely helpful but non pushy way. I came in with my Mom and Dad; my Dad hates being sold to. Luckily, Kelly is a true professional who knows how to put clients at ease and the entire conversation/transaction was seamless. With COVID taking hold in late March, I was concerned about not getting the ring on time with my proposal plans coming up. Kelly went completely out of her way to make sure I had the ring; she even made a special trip to my work after their Portland location had closed to the public, just to make sure I would have it. Again, top notch stuff! Thank you so much Katie Soule from Springer's for helping me so much and speaking kindly with me on the phone, and then in person when I showed up! Thank you so much for helping me with the following story: Today was the day! I knew as soon as I woke up this morning that since I hadn't taken care of this yesterday, that today would surely be the day. And today WAS the day! Today I was able to look down at my hand and finally admit to myself, hey, my dainty slender pianist keyboard jockey fingers have actually over time become full-on ballpark frank sausage fingers, and that my wedding ring was squeezin mah finger and it kinda hurt a little bit, u know? So I did some light research and after realizing there was no way on this earth that the dental floss compression thing was gonna work, I knew I had to get it cut off, the ring I mean. I still have my finger and am typing with it now so I'm grateful for that. My ring was white gold, and I think there must have been more iron in there than I'd like to admit because it was hard to cut through. BTW the tool for cutting off a ring and the process isn't scary at all, just a heads-up that it is not. scary. at all. Ok it's scary but it's ok I knew that I was in good hands and didn't worry. I asked how often they were asked to help cut off rings and the answer was more often than you'd think loL Well thank you so much for helping me have this relief, and answering my 1,000 questions about getting it repaired from here and receiving advice that I should probably wait at least a week for my finger to get back to normal, since there's a divot in it. I am excited to get my ring repaired with Springer's and to be able to keep my same band and have it tell a story. A story about my sausage fingers loLL. Thank you Katie!! I brought my engagement ring (purchased through another store) to Springer's to be resized, after having it incorrectly resized previously. I was a bit skeptical that we'd get it right, since it's wintertime and I have very small fingers with ill-defined knuckles, but Zoe was incredibly helpful, checking and double-checking that the size we settled on would fit. She also gave me great advice about when to resize my wedding band and how to take good care of both into the future. I picked up the ring today, days earlier than it was promised, and it fits great and looks better than ever.

I put a ring on layaway for anniversary prior to the shut down because of Coronavirus. When the layaway was paid off (during shut down), Springers Jewelers sent my ring via tracked priority mail and I received it very quickly. There was a reason I needed to return the ring and the process was smooth. They sent me a return label so I could get the ring back to them so there was no postage required from me. Within a couple weeks of Springers reopening by appointment only, I met with salesperson Jennifer a few times and found another ring for anniversary that I’m very pleased with. While there, I also found an estate ring for my mom as well as another ring for my next anniversary. I put this ring on layaway as well as it’s several months before next anniversary. Jennifer helped me a lot throughout my purchases. She was fun to work with and explained various payment options clearly. Because of the virus shut down, it has taken a few months from start to finish picking out my anniversary ring and everyone I dealt with was professional and easy to work with. Thank you all very much, especially Jennifer. I’ll see Jennifer again when my next anniversary ring is ready to pick up from layaway. I’m looking forward to it.

I called to inquire about cutting off a ring due to a swollen finger joint. Despite COVID restrictions, I had a convenient appointment within two days. I arrived to a carefully controlled environment, everyone wearing masks, and Chris had my ring off within a couple of minutes without any discomfort.
