Angela is amazing! First time ring shopping at a physical location and Angela had all the answers to match our questions. We learned about all shapes, sizes, shines, grades, everything from A to Z. She also showed us all the different custom combinations we could fit together on the rings we were interested in. Have not made a purchase yet, but if/when we do, it’ll be at Jared 100% because of Angela!

I went to Jared in South Portland to exchange some very beautiful Christmas gifts my husband purchased for me for Christmas (just wanted something a little different). Sandy took excellent care of me. There was absolutely no hassle. She was amazingly helpful in the process of narrowing down what exactly I was looking for, with regard to style and quality. Sandy worked within our budget and literally spent about 2 hours helping me with the exchange. I think I tried on about 50 different pieces. We were able to get my new ring sized that day, within 2 hours. When I returned to the store with my mother to get my ring, Sandy was working with another customer but updated Jessie, the general manager about my exchange. Not only did Jessie make sure my ring fit perfectly and finish out the transaction, she spent about 40 minutes talking with my mother and me and showing us all kinds jewelry we liked, knowing that we were done buying that day. This store is great! No pressure, no rush, personal, professional attention! Highly recommend!!!!

She helped me narrow down what I wanted to purchase for my girlfriend for her birthday and made the whole process from start to finish super smooth and focused on what my girlfriend would want. I had explained what kind of necklace I wanted to buy her and Sandy brought out a few options and recommend one in particular that was actually the highlight of everything I bought for my girlfriend given the chains adjustable size. Initially, I wasn’t sure I made the right decision to come here for an engagement ring. The atmosphere wasn’t extremely inviting and the information I was receiving wasn’t promising. Shortly after arriving, Sandy changed this entire initial experience. She took the time to sit with me, map out this entire process, hand-picked the diamonds, and wrapped up this 100% custom design with significant satisfaction. As we worked through the process, she was extremely communicative, thorough, and helpful in reassuring that we’d meet this (nearly impossible) deadline. As it came to the finish line, and with supply chain issues, not only did she still make this work, she was an absolute pleasure to partner with. I cannot state what an asset Sandy is to not only this location, but the company as a whole. My Wedding Ring is from James Allen Collection. I just was recently married in 2020 during Covid-19 due to being separated from the love of my life George because he is in Canada and I'm from the USA so after five years of dating we eloped and are reunited for life. Since I'm a Flight Attendant it's been hard after a year of marriage to go in and get my ring checked out. I was worried since wearing it during the winter with all the lotion and why'll working in the galley has made my ring dull looking and although I clean it myself it's still better done by the professionals. I found out there was a Jared/James Allen right around the corner from my hotel on my overnight. This very nice lady Zivana helped me out right away. She made sure all the prongs where in tacked and the stone was not loose and made my ring shine the way it looked the day my husband George proposed to me. She told me to come on in anytime I had an overnight and they would be happy to clean it for me. I was very happy with my results and came in again for one more quick cleaning before I was off until March. I'm even looking for the perfect Jewelry to by my best friend Sarah since I am so happy with Zivana's great customer service. She made me feel like a part of the Jared family and now I know where all be buying all my fine Jewelry from now on & sending all my fly girls to her as well. Thank You Zivana!♡♡♡♡♡

Bought wedding bands. Both are beautiful and of good quality but we both felt incredibly pushed into getting a ring right then and there… We were just going in to scout out rings we might like in order to find our styles. Our wedding date is a little over a year out so we had MORE than enough time to really think about things (which I did make well known). The first person I had met with was Devin, (It was just my mother and I the first time). He was awesome and very kind and I really appreciated the way he treated us, which made me want to come back. Unfortunately the second time around was not so pleasant. Woman was very pushy and kept leading us toward styles we were clearly saying we didn’t want and had no interest in (because of price/style whatnot) so we both had to stand up for ourselves a lot which was took a toll on me. In the end we both ended up getting styles we liked but it was just a really uncomfortable experience for the both of us. Overall, the product is beautiful, not ALL of the staff is horrible, and we’re both happy with what we brought home. It was just this certain staff member that made it really stressful and uncomfortable for us. It’s one thing to recommend something and another to make it seem like a dumb decision to choose to wait a little longer to think about things or look at rings that catch out eye… you know? I understood that the rings I liked might not be there down the road if I waited and I was okay with that… my Fiancé Just didn’t want me to miss out on an opportunity because he loves me. That’s the only reason we left with rings, which means a lot to me, but it made me feel really bad for him. I just wish we hadn’t gotten pushed into buying a ring so soon as we both initially agreed that that was not what we wanted to do at that moment in time. Not here to bash anyone, I just wanted to leave an honest review of my experience, which is the reason why I am not naming names for the negative side of our experience. Kourtney that was adorable kind and complimentary. I showed her the necklace that I love and she told me they have a ring made like the necklace Perfect that had to come from another store. I wanted to see them both before making a large investment. So we wait and wait. Finally we end up buying one. I didn't care for it so Kourtney worked that out and found one on clearance that I love. I had it appraised. Costly but worth it. Kourtney was wonderful through the process. Just think if they advertise products on national television they should have the products. We love Jared’s! Particularly the South Portland location. Jessica, the manager there is wonderful and so accommodating! My husband and I got married during the start of the pandemic last year and I was so bummed because not only did our wedding get ruined, but Jared’s store was closed down and I couldn’t get mine or his wedding band. Jessica promptly reached out to me via telephone after I did a contact me forum on the website. She was so nice and helpful. She helped us pick out our rings so we would have them in time for a small justice of the peace ceremony. They weren’t going to be able to have my husbands ring in time for our ceremony so she helped us pick out a temporary ring and allowed us to hassle free return the temporary ring at a much later date. She has been so responsive and awesome through the whole process and just wanted to make sure we had a good experience with her and Jared’s and we certainly did! Thank you so much Jessica!

Let me first start by saying the manager at this location ( Jessica Colson ) is exactly what a manager should be. Honest , fair and understanding. I know not every transaction with people goes smoothly. Not every item you purchase in life will be what you expect it to be. That is life and I have come to accept that. I love my rings I got a Jared. Denise and Jessie are amazing. I do not understand why, in late June I can not have my ring repaired. I am being told they are waiting for CDC clearance. I can have my camera repaired, I can shop at the mall and buy clothes, I can go to the grocery store, home improvement stores, but a car and heck I can buy more jewelry...but they won't fix what I already own that is under warranty...I am beyond frustrated.

Previously worked with other jewelry stores, but have never had one that had OUTSTANDING customer service. I went into Jared's randomly to see what they had for engagement rings. Ended up talking with the Manager and Assistant Manager. Told them what I wanted, and worked close with them to customize the ring. It was very similar to a ring they had in the Neil Lane collection, so they took the ring out and sent it in with the custom order we had. The ring they took out of inventory was over $5,000, and it was out of inventory for over a month. I will walk in to this day and they use my name and make me feel like I am their number one priority, even if I do not apply for a credit card with them. I will not go any where else from now on. Beyond pleased!!!!

My engagement ring was from another jeweler, but they had closed so I went to Jared when I had a bent prong. The ring is 13 years old, and they recommended replacing the prongs, but couldn't match my original ones. When I went to pick the ring up, they had accidentally sized it down a full size. They fixed it for free, but I'm generally not happy with the experience - I didn't feel that they were apologetic at all.

Jeremy was aaaamaaaazingggggg! So down to earth. We were bombarded a couple times by a manager (Sharon) only wanting credit application. That’s something we take seriously and wanted to ask some questions first because we DONT have spotless credit. After leaving, coming back on a day to work ONLY with Jeremy we were not only about to get approved for a credit line (we were comfortable with) but also found a ring that checked all my boxes for style and detail but, (by chance) because the Morganite Stone was surrounded Diamond (daughters birhstone) also had 2 small Garnet stones on each side of the setting (my birthstone) it ended up being much more meaningful. The kicker? My daughters name is MORGAN!!! It was divine intervention that I found the ring and it’s so special to us! Jeremy (seeing how emotional it was and special) put a spacer on the ring so I could leave wearing it and we chose to go back another day to get it sized. Excellent experience besides Sharon. She was rude. And insulted both my fiancé and I. Which is why we left and came back for Jeremy. Refuse to work with anyone else! First class service!
