Cheryl did a fantastic job rebuilding a very old bracelet of mine. 24 hinge posts in all. Drilled and re-pinned each one. She even took the time to rebuild the latch. She is clearly a jeweler with all the expertise needed to tackle even the most complex and delicate repairs. I couldn't have asked for any more.

My boyfriend and I wandered in during our vacation and were treated with so much kindness. Designs by CC made my dream of an onyx stabby cabochon pendant come true. I wanted it in gold, but we settled on a combo of sterling and gold bc of cost, which was perfect. When my boyfriend came to pick up the piece, it was crafted in complete 14k gold, no extra cost. I’m so so utterly grateful and this piece is something that I will cherish until the next time we come to Maine. Thank you so so much.

I've been coming to CC for almost 20 years, first as a resident of Portland and now visiting from Austin, Texas. Her shop is a "must visit" and our first stop in town. I purchased a simple turquoise and sterling necklace for my bride and ordered a custom stud for myself. A visit to CC is our chance to take home a genuine pice of Portland crafted by one of my favorite people.

Cheryl has many nice pieces of jewelry and will do all she can to help you find or make something you will love. The ring I bought was resized and fit perfect. The store has many other interesting stones/crystals/fossils too. We will visit again when we come back to the area.

CC set my 40ct oval amethest sideways as a pendant. It is one of my favorite pieces. She takes her time to talk with you and explain your options. I live many states away but l save my loose stones to show her when l make my way up north in the future
