My fiance picked out my engagement ring from Shane Company and I'm so glad he did! I am completely in love with it; it's one of my most prized possessions. The service that we receive is always so spectacular. I can honestly say Shane Company is one of my favorite places to visit. Today we went back to pick out a wedding band and once again, we had a phenomenal experience. Amy helped us out today and she was so great! She made the experience so much fun, it was like shopping with my best friend. She had great recommendations and gave me honest feedback that was so valuable to me. She was mindful of our budget and helped me pick out a wedding band that I simply cannot wait to wear. Thank you SO much Amy, and thanks Shane Company for being "our friend in the jewelry business!"

Everyone is always so friendly. We got our wedding sets here and my husband has bought me several pieces from here. We never feel rushed or pressured. With our last experience we were there for nearly 3 hours designing a lavender sapphire ring on 8/5 and was able to pick it up on 8/11. It was perfect. Our salesman was so nice! Thank you!

My husband surprised with an appointment at Shane Co to upgrade my wedding set at which we met Amy Bennin-Layton who assisted us. The variety of rings there was very overwhelming to me, however I showed Amy my current set and she recognized the style I like. She left us at the counter for a few minutes looking at rings and came back out with 2 different sets...BOTH my style and with nothing else being looked at I chose from those and I cannot tell you how happy I am with my upgrade, absolutely beautiful. Always pleasant coming here. If you haven't heard from radio commercials they are not commission based so it makes shopping for jewelry so much easier. They have tons of options for everything and especially nice because they don't have what everyone else does so it's much more unique. Their prices are also very affordable. You can tell them your price range and they will help find everything they can. I used to buy my jewelry at mall shops and the big names but I haven't gone back since buying my engagement and wedding rings. They offer a lifetime warranty and several benefits just for buying. If I'm looking for a ring this is the first place I check. Thanks for being great!

I initially wanted to only shop at Shane Co., but I looked at a couple other options first so I can compare price and warranty info. I went to Shane Co last and never looked back. Their price and selection were the best I could find. The warranty is top notch, too. The only catch is that you have to bring it in every 6 months for maintenance, but at least that is free. The employees were great. They took their time and explained everything to me and answered every question. I gave the employees a budget and requirements for the ring and we came in under budget. My fiance and I are extremely pleased with the ring and service.

Shane Co Scottsdale has incredible customer service! We purchased my husbands wedding band about 2.5 years ago. He didn't wear it much though because it easily rusted due to the band's material. Shane Co Scottsdale exchanged the ring for us, no questions asked! The original ring price was $1,100 and the new one was roughly $500. Three days later, Aaron gave us a call and said that "it didn't sit right with him" that we lost out on about $600 for the new ring. He said to go online and pick out whatever we wanted up to the $600 point and he would place an order for us. The process was seamless and a wonderful surprise that we were not expecting! Thank you Aaron and Shane Co Scottsdale for the incredible customer service. We are definitely customers for life!

We came in for an engagement ring knowing little to nothing about diamonds, rings, wedding bands, etc and were first warmly greeted by a man up front. Everything was beautifully showcased and displayed and there were tons and TONS of choices to choose from. We then had Kylie who was patient and very friendly and sweet towards me. She explained everything I needed to know about rings, design, carat, etc. I was so happy working with her and having her help me choose my ring! She knew exactly my taste and the ones I was looking for! The other lady explained the diamonds (I'm sorry I forgot her name) and how each one was unique towards each other was very kind and friendly towards our decisions as well. Ive grown up hearing Tom Shane on the radio and finally visited his establishment lol and let me tell you will not be disappointed by all they do here! Thank you Shane Co.!!!!

best jewelry store in the world. the warranty on the jewelry is over the top. if you want jewelry that lasts forever and is the best quality you have ever seen. this is the place to go. I really like that you can give them a price range and they stay in that range. they never try to up sale you or pressure you. this is a very laid-back experience. We were excited to have a Shane Co open near home (chandler location) BUT it’s night and day when it comes to customer service. As we were trying to pick out a custom engraved bracelet, I felt rushed and not important. Very little input was given by the jewelry consultant. The engraving came out terrible and the bracelet chain ended up snapping. After this experience we will NEVER return to the chandler location again. We ended up returning the piece for store credit at the Scottsdale location. Per usual, the Scottsdale location makes us feel like royalty from the moment we enter the building. Regarding our more recent visit to Shane Co in Scottsdale: SAMANTHA really made the experience a pleasure. Not only was she knowledgeable and precise about the jewelry pieces and fitting, but she was so thoughtful, patient, and down-to-earth. Walking out, we couldn’t have been more confident in our purchases. Thank you Samantha! You’re Amazing! Chandler location needs people like her!

Amazing experience from start to finish. The consultants here were so helpful. I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for at first, but after visiting with Sonia, Dylanie, Marisa and Cherice (on 3 different drop in visits), I walked out with the perfect item. Initially came here because of the times that my (then) girlfriend and I went to get her sister's ring cleaned, and the staff was also so welcoming and friendly. Shane Co definitely did not have the snooty, Scottsdale attitude that I was expecting. Rebecca was the perfect associate to help me, I didn't know anything about jewelry, diamonds, karats, etc. She patiently explained everything to me without a hint of judgement. She didn't pressure me in any specific direction, she simply listened to what I had to say about my (now) fiancé's taste and the very first stone she pulled for me to look at was ultimately the one I ended up getting. Since the engagement, I've already recommended Shane Co to 3 other people; when you're shopping around to potentially drop $10k+ on a single item, it makes a world of difference that their staff is not commission-based. You get the feeling that they just genuinely want to help you find the right ring and stone, and have no ulterior motives. Will definitely be returning here for our wedding bands in the future!

I got my engagement ring ant the Scottsdale location and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. My sister and mom both go their rings from Shane Co and have nothing but the best things to say about Shane Co. but I wanted to try a few other stores just to make sure. I went to Brilliant earth, they only let you try fake rings on and not truly pick your diamond except for online, Jareds is awful, but Shane Co, was no pressure, they let you browse and take all the time with you showing all your options. I looked at about 12 diamonds. There was 2 that I loved and I went with one and I really wanted the other. Two days went by and I decided I needed/wanted the other diamond and they were so helpful to let me trade out and hold the diamond for me that day. I worked with trinity and another lady with the cutest heart shaped glasses. Thank you Shane Co. I’m glad to be a part of the Shane Co family.

I brought my engagement/wedding ring set to Shane Co for the usual clean and check when our jewelry consultant, Rebecca, told me the center stone in my engagement ring was cracked and needed to be replaced. Obviously, it's a very sentimental piece of jewelry, so this news was petty sad to hear. Rebecca walked my husband and I through a few options for replacement diamonds. It's been a pleasure working with Shane Co on a number of jewelry purchases over the last couple of years. My husband first went to Shane Co to purchase my engagement ring, and they were very attentive and patient in explaining all the ins and outs of picking the right ring. A few months later, we put in a customer order for our wedding bands. They helped us out in designing them to our specifications and they came out beautifully! Since then, we've made a few small purchases for earrings, and also come in every month or so to have our jewelry cleaned, which is a free service. They always check our rings over to ensure they're structurally sound, and log every visit that we make. Even when they are very busy, they are quick to ask if we're being helped and ensure they have someone with us as quickly as possible. This will certainly be the place I come to for any and all future jewelry purchases.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are not pushy and don't try to oversell. They listen to you and help you find exactly what you are looking for. My wife's wedding ring needed to be repaired as the center diamond and setting broke off and while other jewelry stores refused to repair it unless we bought a new diamond, Shane Co offered to repair it. They were so helpful we ended up buying a new diamond anyway. I would highly recommend checking out Shane Co before making a purchase elsewhere

If the staff was not so awesome I would give 0 stars. Took me 7 years to ask my girl to marry me, finally broke down spent way over my budget to get her ring of her dreams. The accent diamonds kept falling out, in for warranty 2 times in just a few weeks. Then was told not to wear the ring if you shower, sleep, work around the house and so on. What in the heck, are you selling junk!! Then they order a warranty ring, finally gets in after weeks of waiting. Then the best part of it all happens, they change out our center stone and decide WITHOUT our permission or any thought of what we want to change how the setting looks. Should of just went with Costco! Save your money and headache and buy elsewhere! Very very very upset and disappointed with this company, MY POOR GIRL deserves so much better than this. Will never buy here again. Update as of 4/7/22. Went in today to drop the ring off to get fixed, they dropped everything and fixed it for us. I really wish I did not have a bad experience in the beginning because they try so hard. I can not compliment to staff enough, they are just the best people I have ever worked with. My girl is now happy with her ring again, and we will see what the future holds with me purchasing there again.

We had stopped at a few other shops prior that felt rushed, were very salesy, and did not answer specific questions. We randomly stopped into ShaneCo and nothing compared to our experience. LOVE this place! Their warranty is AMAZING! My wife bought my ring over 22 years ago in Colorado and I somehow lost one of my diamonds. They looked it up and replaced it No questions asked. Very personable and I really felt like she cared about me. She went the extra mile in everything . A small diamond had fallen out of my ring after a week and she got me an entirely new ring, free engraving on both our rings, paid for my tea when I had to wait an extended period of time, and a new stone that was more of what I wanted! When something happens that wasn’t planned and the company still treats you like gold, they show true interest in their customer. Yeah, a small diamond fell out and that shouldn’t happen, but that’s inevitable. I’m grateful for their amazing services and for those that work behind the scenes! You are all amazing!

I need to share my amazing experience with Shane Co, Chandler location. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly employee and a security guard. They took my name and then let me loose in the showroom. It is such a beautiful store. Before long I was met by Paul. I told him right away that I was going to be a pain in the neck. He laughed. I told him exactly what I wanted and then he went to work ordering a few stones in for me to see. I was thrilled with my choices and out of those few I am wearing the one I chose writing this review. Then we had fun looking for a setting that would showcase this beautiful sapphire. I think I literally left no stone/setting unturned. I found “the one” and cannot express enough what a 10/10 experience it has been with Paul and the Shane Company. There were a couple of days I went in on Paul’s day off and was also assisted by a few other amazing Shane Co associates. To anyone who is wanting an engagement ring, a wedding ring or any ring for that matter this is the place for you. I really enjoyed picking my one of a kind sapphire and a beautiful setting. After explaining the info about the 4C's and what Shane Co. offers and going over my wants including price range she had several options to show me. Sitting down and reviewing the diamonds individually and going over how to inspect the diamond through the jewelers loops I felt like i had found EXACTLY what I was looking for. And to make it better it was several thousands of dollars less than my budget/what I expected to pay. We returned today to have it resized to fit perfectly and to my delight Delany was there to see the ring and meet my fiancé and cheer over the proposal. I'm very disappointed in Shane Co. I got engaged and bought my wedding band here. My girlfriend broke off the engagement and left me heartbroken and with two rings. Obviously, I would never re-use these rings in the future. This wedding band went from their store to my safe and never saw the light of day until I went to return it. It was still new and never put on her finger besides in the store originally. They refused to refund the ring due to their 60 day return policy. I had first called and spoke with a girl on the phone and explained my situation and she was very pleasant and told me to still bring it back and they would take care of me. I drove to the store (an hour of my time going there and back) only to have the salesman take the ring to the back as I waited for awhile contemplating how sad my situation was and remembering the last time I was here I was on cloud nine. The salesman returned and told me he was unable to return the perfectly new ring. This was just another kick in the gut. I can tell you that I bought the engagement ring from Costco and it was worn and they took it back with sympathy and apologized for what I must be going through. I had actually brought the ring I bought from Costco to match it up with the wedding band and I asked Shane Co if they could offer me a similar engagement ring for the same price. The couldn't compete with the quality for the price that I received at Costco. Learn a valuable lesson from me and though I would have never expected to have had to return an engagement ring I know where I will return in the future when I'm lucky enough to find the truly right girl. Update: I was contacted by Julie from Shane Co and they did make things right. I applaud their commitment to customer satisfaction. If it was right from the beginning I'd be giving them 5 stars. Walked in to have my center stone adjusted, it was a little off center and I'm OCD. A normal person probably wouldn't even notice but I'm annoying like that and its been bothering me from the start. The woman on staff we talked to took it back to talk to the jeweler and said they could adjust it and she just had to check on something. She walked back with the ring in hand, said they were able to do it tonight and if I liked it. They adjusted it right there on the spot. The sales person was great with her knowledge and working within our budget. She was gay friendly and we had a lot of laughs. We went back to her when the hubby lost his wedding ring and found him another that would work better. Since then we take our rings back every six months for a cleaning and inspection. I had an AMAZING experience here. I had come in several times to narrow down exactly what I wanted, and the staff was extremely attentive every time. If I encountered someone a few days after I had met them, they not only remembered what I had been looking at before, but what my name and price point was as well. Speaking of price point, the staff bent over backwards to customize a ring to be exactly what I wanted for my price point—$1,000. Sam was the one who helped me the most. This girl spent an hour with me at one point, and was so kind and gracious the entire time. She worked so hard on giving me exactly when I wanted when I was at a point where I was ready to settle on something that I wasn’t too excited about. I never was made to feel like I was just another customer. I was made to feel so so special, and like my engagement was just as important as someone who was spending $10k on a ring. I had gone to 5 other places other than Shane Co and none of them were as welcoming, accommodating, or attentive. Also, the sheer quality of the products was far superior. I got a sapphire center gem, and all of the other places I went had gems that were matte looking and just not pretty. The one I got at Shane Co as well as the many others I looked at at their location were just sparkly and spectacular. That’s another thing—if you find a gem at a price point that fits your budget on the website, they’ll ship them in (I think their limit is 2) for you to see in person. After getting 2 rings from them that *BROKE*, I just gave up and decided we would be doing all of our jewelry business at Shane Co from now on! Seth (who also helped my fiancee design my ring) walked us through all of our options, and after almost an hour and a half of not finding *just* what we were looking for, we decided to make a custom ring for him as well. We made his ring in just his right style while also keeping aspects to match my own rings. We still have yet to get the stones put into his, but we always have a good time here. I love that all of the staff here are super friendly and willing to help you in any way they can. But beware, you will lose track of time. 3 hours can easily feel like 20 minutes, but you won't mind, because the atmosphere is so welcoming. I really do have a friend in the jewelry business.

They always help me find what I am looking for and answer any questions I have, but they have never tried to upsell me or redirect me to what they think I should buy. The selection is huge and includes a range of styles in each category. I always find pieces I love, and the quality is excellent as well. Having my items periodically inspected to maintain the warranty is a breeze, and they always wash my pieces for free--including my wedding ring from another jeweler! I have been a loyal Shane Co. Customer for over five years. I live about 50 minutes away, yet it has always been worth it. My wife and I jokingly make reference to the commercial tag line "you have a friend in the diamond business," but honestly we felt that way. That is UNTIL today's visit into Shane Co.; which, I made to find special items for two very important milestones in my and my wife's lives. I had looked online so, had an idea of what I wanted just needed the diamond friend to help me decide. I understand our current situation with COVID requires some modifications. Truly I thought this would be something Shane Co. would have down as they were extremely good at customizing and personalizing their guests' visits. I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG. The whole shopping experience was PAINFUL. I mean, this is really uncomfortable. The associate was not engaging, seemed liked she didn't want to look for and bring items to me as Shane Co. is asking her to do....not me. Thankfully, an associate who helped me at Christmas time stopped and assured me I was on the right path with my purchase plan. When trying to buy the item's the associate at the payment counter was condescending called for the associate to come back and barked at me to stand over there. So, I just decided to leave. The gentleman at the front entry way, directing the new procedures and scheduling is awesome. I have spoken to a manager and yes, they were sympathetic, but I can get that at HELZBERG'S, JARED'S, KAY'S, WHITEFIELDS' OR ZALES. Shane Co. was a different experience all together. We worked with a beautiful young lady named Alyssa and when my brother went in originally he was a little skeptical because we had been to many jewelry businesses , we thought we were going to get tossed around by commissioned people but we got an experience we were not expecting at all !! My brothers wife wanted a white sapphire and although what he was asking for was a bit out of the ball park because of the princess cut Alyssa still made us feel right at home and told us she would transfer it in. I have been buying gifts for wife there for years. She has loved each piece I have gotten her. Best thing is the return policy, NO HIGH PRESSURE. Last year the diamond earrings I bought my wife broke about 6 months after I purchased. Instead of repairing, which they would have, my wife saw a pair she liked better and we just exchanged. I dropped off two rings and a charm bracelet for maintenance and only one of the repairs will take longer than three days because most everything is handled in-house. The ring that will take longer is missing princess cut sapphires, and that repair takes longer only because they have to hand match the replacements. All of this is, of course, at no cost. The service we receive guarantees we will be Shane Co customers for life.

Thank you Shane Co. and Tiffany for listening to my previous bad experience. STEER CLEAR OF YOUR FRIEND IN THE DIAMOND BUSINESS! (This is a long one, but it is worth reading.) A while ago, I was looking into engagement rings to propose to my girl friend. I had two jobs at the time to basically fund for an average engagement ring. My budget was $1000. That's all I could do. When I went in I was greeted by one salesman who was telling me that I could find a very small diamond for around that much. I showed them a ring that I had seen at a different jeweler for that much. The salesman told me that I was being scammed into buying a bad diamond. I tried explaining in detail why it was so cheap, but the salesman proceeded to tell me that I did not know enough and I was being conned. I then decided to take his word for it and I met with a saleswoman about some diamonds. After she presented the diamonds that they had which was a minimum of $300 over my budget and she kept trying to upsell me, I respectfully said I would be back after I had done more window shopping. She questioned why I would do that because "Shane Co." was the best in the valley and I won't find better deals elsewhere. I told her I wasn't ready to make a decision and she says, and I quote, "Why can't you make a decision? Don't you have anything in your savings?" I was way more polite than I should have been and I left without telling a supervisor what she had said to me. I ended up getting the original ring I mentioned for my now wife and it still looks great. Now, anytime people are thinking about proposing, I tell them to stay away from Shane Co. Until Shane Co. proves that they deserve my or anyone's business, I will continue to give this infamous Phoenix Valley a bad rap.

Bought my engagement ring here and had a great experience! But I recently made a second purchase here for my fiancee's birthday under the promise of a certain monthly payment, but once the purchase was completed and in my hands, I received a call the next week saying my payments would double and there's nothing that could be done about it. While the payment is still manageable and not that much of a difference, it would have had an impact on my initial purchase from the beginning, and so it's a little disappointing. If her birthday wasn't tomorrow, and I had more time to look for another gift I might have returned it.. still love their merchandise and GREAT customer service.. Edit: 1-15-20 Back again for a third purchase and this was not a great experience. Wish they could have been more accommodating with their layaway program instead of pushing for me to finance with their new partners. Walked in and immediately have you wear a mask and take your temperature.. Was working with Michelle and ended up putting a ring on layaway so that my boyfriend could come back and pick it up. To try to get her to return a phone call or to find out when she was going be in was quite the challenge, since she stated to come back to her. My BF called multiple times. We ended up just going anyways and saw a different gal, as my boyfriend was excited to pay off the ring so that it could finally be sized. I wanted to wait until after I proposed to write a review because I didn't want my fiancée to see my name on one of these, just in case she did any ring searching on the web before hand. I purchased the ring back in June but I still remember making the purchase as if it was yesterday. I was with my soon-to-be mother and father in laws and right when we walked in we were immediately greeted by the staff. They were all extremely nice in a welcoming way not a "forced" way. After looking through some of their rings, Sarah Hurwitz picked us up and asked what we were looking for. I showed her a picture of what I found on their website and she tried her absolute best to find it in the store, but no luck. Before giving up, we looked at other options and we found a beautiful rose gold vintage solitaire ring and after seeing what it would look like enhanced with the wedding ring, I was hooked. The whole time, Sarah was extremely patient as I narrowed down all my other options. She was just as excited as I was finding the perfect ring. Then we looked at round center stone diamonds and she taught us how to look through a jewelry scope so that it was no surprise on what the color or clarity was. There were many options that she laid out to fit within my budget any she really made it clear on why each stone was valued the way it was. After a long discussion on what my in laws and I thought, we chose a center stone while Sarah was patient and helpful the whole way through. A nice young man named Kris, as seen on his name tag, ringed us up and explained to us about Shane Co's free lifetime warranty which is completely amazing. There is no cost to have regular maintenance repairs on your ring where other jewelry places would charge you up to 100's. As long as the ring is insured though, it covers if the ring is stolen or lost. Overall, buying a ring is an experience and it's an experience I'd definitely encourage people to have at Shane Co because they truly are your friend in the jewelry business.

We had a good experience here; my wife and I love our wedding rings. The service is good, and knowing the free regular maintenance entitles us to a loss warranty is a nice peace of mind. What bothers me is the sales staff touting no commission, when we all know a rose by any other name is still a rose. I also fear ever needing the loss warranty, and having them pull some vaguely worded fine print out to keep from having to honor it. I have had no experience with this, hence the 4 star rating, but I have heard stories that I admit could be from people who didn't take their rings in for routine maintenance. Overall I would recommend Shane along with a warning to keep your guard up like you would in a car lot. Be not mistaken, they are there to sell. At least they have a good product and don't appear to be screwing people over.

AMAZING! I have been coming here for years and I have had the best service you can imagine! When it comes to upgrading. repairs, cleaning and everything in between. Everything you need done after your purchase is at no charge. I once was in a mall jewelry store and they wanted to do an appraisal for one of my diamonds. Just out of curiosity I asked how it worked. She said it cost $250.00 and they would send it out for about a week. This is because they are not trained to know the value of your diamonds. Shane company does appraisals for you on the spot at no charge, any time you want! When the commercial says “you have a friend in the diamond business”. This is 100% true. I want to give a special thank you to Matt Bricker. This man has truly become my friend. He has been helping me find diamonds and settings for many years. If I need a cleaning, a repair, or whatever it is... I can email him directly and he is there for me right away. I really can never thank him enough. I don’t have to worry about my jewelry. It’s covered no matter what. I feel valued as a customer and there’s no way I'd ever buy my jewelry from anywhere else.

Edit: since posting my original review I spoke with Sam and he was more than helpful in helping me get my issues taken care of and got the ring replaced. My wife bought me a “Damascus” steel ring with rose gold. Damascus is known for being extremely durable and scratch resistant. After 2 weeks of west the ring is extremely scratched up on the steel and on the gold. Mind you I work a very easy office job and don’t do much “hard work” with my hands. I emailed them about the scratches and got this as a response “... With the damascus steel they can show wear especially if they rub against other metals. Typically you can use gun oil and this will help them to not show as much wear but since many of these rings are mixed with precious metals they do tend to show scratches” So in order for a scratch resistant metal to not show scratches I have to cover my finger in oil daily? This has been EXTREMELY aggravating to spend $1,000 on a ring that’s supposed to be durable and have it be softer than sand.

On a recent visit, Eli showed me a one-of-kind tanzanite that was breathtaking, but the pendant setting was not to my liking. Through the process of removing the stone from its original setting or mounting it into the new setting, it incurred a faint scratch on the table facet. This place is way better, better selection, diamonds are better, and we were well taken care of. very professional and larger selection than most other stores. Thankful for their lifetime warranty and trade in value. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is bc of their financing. They position 18 month interest free financing. What they don't tell you is that that is by opening their credit card. They tell you at the very end of the process which is very poor. THE WORST PART of all of this is that there is very little information given on how to get online to setup the acct to pay it off. That lack of info caused several problems for me and was unacceptable. Honestly, I know they don't care bc they are making money but just be aware you need to ask questions about the processes.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING FROM SHANE CO. I want to start by saying. They do live up to their policy of a life time warranty of taking care of their customers for free. I would still encourage you to come her for your ring. Just read below. I know that one persons experience may not be the same for everyone. Just a few precautions before shopping here, or, at any jeweler... My husband bought me my second ring here, beautiful ring and great option to upgrade diamonds. Everything went well, I kept up with my 6 month cleaning and checking of the stones. About the 3rd year, my diamonds started to fall out of the casing. No big deal, normal wear and tear. By the 4th year, lost another. I took the ring back, they fixed it and off I went. 3 months later, lost 2 diamonds and took it back. A week later I picked it up and also bought a plain band to prevent this from happening so often. When I put it on for the first time in a week, I felt a prawn sticking out and took it back that day to Shane Co. I had the unpleasure to speak with A young lady that tried to get it fixed. They were filing down the prong. When it wasn’t working, she brought out her manager Keith. Keith should have never been an employee, he was rude and smug. He explained there was a bubble in my ring. I told him that was new, he said this does not just appear, it was always there! I told him it was not and it looked like a chip, he told me I was wrong. He took it to his manager and they said it was not a bubble but debris. (Looks like he was wrong) he took it back to get cleaned and it did not work. When trying to explain it was still there, he told me it was not and that these diamonds have marks inside. He stated that there was nothing there. After 5 min of trying to get him to look and listen, he finally saw the mark. He said he will write down the barcode etched in the diamond but he could not find one. At this point it has been 2 hours and his manager finally got involved. She apologized for his behavior and proceeded with another 20 min to verify the diamond was my original one we purchased. I left my number and she would call back. When I received a call from Cari 5-10 min later, she told me it verified. She gave me some options and she was a delight to talk with. She did everything needed and I adore her. Next day talked to Cari (Sunday), she stated she was going to ship my ring to me and should receive it on Tuesday. Tuesday came and I fined they did not ship out the ring. At this point Tom Shane needs to evaluate his employees. This is your brand and your name. I was so frustrated, I told them I don’t want the ring. I moved around my day for this to be delivered. I had been talking to another manager Julie. You feel stuck, there is nothing you can do at this point. How discouraging... Please buy from here, or look. Just make sure you look at all the casings and be careful with the type of ring. I would stay away from rings that have smaller diamonds on the sides. UPDATE: Cari called and is doing a same day delivery!!!! Tom you should be blessed to have this Young Lady working for you. The others need to be evaluated.

After several trips to Shane co, I can confidently say that I have never left not being confident that I was provided the utmost supreme customer experience. A special thanks to Andrew Lambert and Matt Palmer, who helped me choose the special ring for my special someone. Special thanks Justin Seybold who helped me choose my wedding band. And a special thanks to Jackqlyn. I came in earlier today simply to polish our rings as we wanted them to look nice for pictures on our wedding day. I spoke with Jackqlyn who was helping me with paper work for the cleaning when I had mentioned that, although it’s been a long time, I felt there was something wrong with the way my ring was shaped. I do not have an eye for these things and to be frankly honest, I didn’t care. To me, a ring is a ring, as it’s the symbol of its meaning that counts. I just was inquiring. Nonetheless, I told her my what I suspected was odd. She immediately asked for my ring and began to inspect it and agreed with my findings. She told me to wait a moment while she sees what she can do. Minutes later she comes out to tell me that they are providing me with a brand new ring the exact way it was intended to be for me. I was blown away by this. This was not something I expected. I expected the “yea that’s probably just how it is” or “unfortunately since it’s past the 60 day exchange, I can’t do anything about it”. And frankly I was contend with that, as I am coming to them with this problem roughly 6 months after purchasing the ring. I couldn’t be more thankful for the service. In conclusion, I have nothing but good things to say about Shane Co and it’s employees. They are what not only every jewelry store should strive to be, they are the template for every company that strives to provide great customer service. UPDATE: After leaving the previous review, the operations manager got a hold of my fiance and was so kind and very helpful. She understood our frustration and went above and beyond to get his wedding band on time for the wedding. 5 stars for her excellent customer service! Thank you! My fiance chose his wedding band at Shane Co.at this location early March. The experience was well when it came to finding his wedding band. I am leaving a one star though, because of the lack of communication they have. He chose his ring, we paid off the ring, and were told to come back in a couple of days to pick up the ring after it being resized. We were called a couple days later and were told his ring is basically "two rings" because it has white and gold in it and the way the style was. Therefore we were told that they would not be able to resize it. Mind you the wedding was in 6 weeks by the time we found out. They told my fiance that they could order basically a "new one" and start from scratch and that it would take about 6-8 weeks to order one. We told them that we would need it sooner than 6 weeks because our wedding date is next month. They gave us the option of having a "temporary" one for the wedding, which complete bothers us because he will not have the ring he wants on our special day when we read each other's vows. Horrible communication overall because they didn't let us know the day that we paid for it and ask for it to be resized, and are not knowledgeable of which of their rings can and can't be resized . We went this weekend to choose a temporary ring, and they still hadn't requested /ordered his ring! Horrible management. Horrible experience.

He did a wonderful job of finding exactly what I wanted. The anniversary band I chose used prongs to hold the diamonds in, but my wifey is hard on her rings because she won't take them off to save her life. :-) Having said that, I had a diamond or two fall out. The replaced them without hassle. It happened again. I went back, and I decided to get a different style that would hold up to more abuse. They gave me full credit for the original ring I bought!!! I took my engagement ring in today because I had lost a little diamond in the setting- Eli assured me they could fix it but it would take 2 days. I bought my wife some stud earrings from Shane's. I looked around at Kay's and even Jared's, but with shank co you pay exactly for what you're getting. If you read the small print at Jared's it tells you that the diamond could be within .006 of what you're paying for. Example: So if you're trying to buy a 3/4, (.75) of a karat you could actually be getting .069 but paying for a .75. I'm pretty sure that .006 difference is always going to be in the negative, they're not going to give you a .81 karat for the price of a .75. So you're not getting what you're paying for at Jared's. Shane co tells you exactly what carat you're buying and you pay only for that weight. This was my first time there and what an eye opener. They got my business from here on out.
