After finding the exact pendant I wanted, Haney's was then able to bring it all together and create such a gorgeous setting for my father's stone in the pendant. We used Haney Family Jeweler’s to appraise some jewelry required to update insurance policies on diamond rings, necklaces etc. They were very accommodating and were able to provide the appraisals in a few days rather than two or more weeks as other jewelers required. We were very pleased with the appraisals and the overall friendliness of the owners. I have been trying to get my wife's lackluster wedding ring upgraded for some time, but kept putting it off as jewelry is a field I know next to nothing about, and having previously been to the Zales and Kays of the world I wasn't looking forward to it. I decided to try this smaller family jeweler and could not be happier. Troy was amazing, incredibly patient and even though we had just met he had me completely at ease. Not once did he try to upsell me or get me to commit to something I didn't like, and we spent well over an hour creating the perfect ring for my wife. The software he has access to is second-to-none, and with a few clicks can create a photorealistic image, and man it/he were right on with the final product. Ring looks amazing, is exactly what we were looking for, and he was fine taking existing jewelry to create a new one-of-a-kind beauty. As for the price, I honestly expected to pay twice as much at a chain. Can't beat the service, quality and price. Thanks again Troy! I don't always buy jewelry, when I do it's Haney's.

I was proposed to again by my hubby of 25 year's! He presented me with a beautiful, sparkly, bling bling of a ring! Back in 2008 we lost EVERYTHING. We went from a 4000 sf home to 999 sf. Our rent was due, we needed groceries, & school supplies for our 3 amazing girlz. With only $75 in our checking acct. We needed cash, so I looked down at my left ring finger and said "take me to a pawn shop honey, we'll get the money, I'm sure we can get close to what you paid for my wedding ring"?! He reluctantly agreed so, with the 5 of us crying, we found a pawn shop and we were able to survive for a few more month's. That tearful day my hubby promised me he would replace the ring. That day came 3 month's ago, with our 3 girlz & our 2 grandbb's standing next to me he "put a ring on it" BUT, my fingers had widened a bit since 2008, LoL so that's where Haney's Family Jewlers comes in to my story! They were open for business (during this pandemic) & took great care of my new wedding ring! They had to resize it 2 sizes. When I went to pick it up, I couldn't even see where they had cut the band. Customer Service was top-notch! I was met with Friendly, personal service from start to finish! I would highly recommend this family owned/operated business, they have a customer for life!

I’ve had the opportunity to do business with Haney’s Family Jeweler twice and have had an A+ experience both times. On my first contact I took two rings (my 40+ year diamond wedding/engagement ring plus my 20-year anniversary ring) and asked if they could design a ring using these original diamonds and bands. I wanted to commemorate these two important rings to wear along with my new bigger beautiful ring my husband designed for me on our 40th anniversary. The ring they helped me design turned out gorgeous!!! The workmanship is outstanding and my husband and I are absolutely delighted with the end result. I also had a silver chain/crucifix that I had purchased in Israel... the quality of this piece was very good and I had worn this chain/crucifix daily for over 4 years. The chain broke (not the latch) ... Haney’s fixed the chain for me and it looks brand new. Their prices are very good and their quality is outstanding. In addition, they are very nice people to deal with, professional and friendly. A few years ago I asked a friend for a local, non chain, jewelry store. She recommended Haney’s. I have had jewelry repairs and cleanings which were done so nicely and with hometown customer service. BUT, the best was, while getting my watch repaired, I showed them a 70 year old stone that I have been carrying in my purse for a couple years that I had a question about. The stone turned out to be a beautiful authentic Aquamarine. I decided to have it reset. We sat down and carefully considered the stone, with different settings, gold , white gold???? I decided on a combination. The new reset ring has exceeded all my expectations. Haney's, did a beautiful job. Yes, I would recommend them 200%. Not only is their work superb, but you have nice, friendly, honest, one on one attention with a big smile, every time.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience at Haney’s Family Jewelers! I had a very badly damaged ring that I had been holding onto because of its high sentimental value . It was one of the last things that my mother had given to me before she passed. Several years ago I damaged it by trying to clean it with chemicals that it never should have been exposed to. The prongs were weakened and I lost a few of the diamonds. It was a real mess. I thought that it was beyond repair. Recently I was made aware of Haney’s and I decided to bring my ring to them. I was so glad that I did. When the work was completed I went to pick up my ring. I was speechless. It was beautiful. Excellent service and extremely reasonable and fair pricing .

Since my engagement ring actually consisted of 3 separate rings, we also wanted to get them soldered together. My ring came back sooner than expected and is absolutely flawless! I brought in my diamond ring in, because the center stone was lose. They looked at it and told me that my prongs were cracked, and even suggested taking it back to the jeweler that we got it from. This review is long overdue! In November of 2018, my now fiancé proposed to me with a beautiful ring, made by a jeweler his family trusts from Chicago. Since I live in Arizona I really didn’t want to part with my new ring to the point where I had to ship it off somewhere to have it sized, so with a little research I found Haney’s. I brought the ring to them and even though it was the week before Christmas, they turned it around in only 2 days! I was ecstatic to have my ring back! That was until I did something as simple as reach into the refrigerator, hitting my ring on the door and causing the entire center setting to pop right off, stone and all! I was crushed. I could tell by the way it broke and the way the pieces were left that it was a manufacturer defect, but not wanting to ship my ring to Illinois, I returned to Haney’s in hopes of a quick solution. Even though the damage was not Haney’s responsibility to fix, they repaired my ring within a couple of days at no charge. They turned my heartbreaking ring experience into a better one and I cannot thank them enough! I will refer anyone who asks to Haney’s and I plan to do my future shopping with them as well. It did take time, but Haney's let me know and was responsive whenever I texted with questions. Haney's had also let me know upfront the cost and there was no surprises when I picked up the ring. Yay. I finally found the jeweler I was looking for. I went to 4 jewelers in scottsdale and got estimates on resetting the stones from a ring. My estimates were all around 4-5,000.00 and I had to leave my ring each time and they were very difficult to deal with because I wasn't sure what I wanted. Then I went to 2 jewelers in Mesa and finally to Haney's - just because I was at Target next door. The jeweler there is AMAZING. He had software that let him and I create EXACTLY what I was looking for - and then some. At no charge. He sat and designed with me until I was happy and then the price was less than half of any other jewelers. Really nice guy. Super patient and creative. He really knows his stuff and has an eye for what works. I can't say enough nice things about my experience there. They will be my jeweler from now on for sure. P.S. I saw other reviews on here about him trying to rip people off buying their gold, etc. So I asked the owner if he would buy the setting of the ring I was having redone and he told me they don't buy gold there and gave me the name of another jeweler who does. So the bashing review about that seems a little fishy... no wonder they remained anonymous.

This is a mom and pop shop that literally is run by Mom and Pop. Super friendly and personable. They are experts with jewelry and are willing to haggle with prices they give you great quality jewelry and do other services too like resizing, my fiance and I will return.
