I visited Edelman's Coins today to sell some jewelry. I had a very pleasant experience after being buzzed in. From my entrance, I was asked how I could be helped and once I expressed I wanted to sell a few pieces, I was pleasantly served by one of the proprietors. Liam, was knowledgeable and friendly. He assessed my items, quoted a fair price for them and completed the transaction within a very short time. He even answered an additional question I had about a special coin I carry with me all the time. I truly appreciated my experience and would return if I had other jewelry to sell or even if I was interested in buying something. I left a one-star review quite a few years ago. I was upset about customer service and I the prices they were offering me. Well they changed it around they are very friendly and welcoming and their prices are on par or better than most other coin shops. And they do have a very large selection of really nice coins, especially older silver coins late 1790s thru1800s. Fair prices and very knowledgeable. My first visit must have been an off day for them, it happens.

Since I was six years old (I am now 83!) my dad started me in collecting coins (wheat ear Lincoln cents in those days) and I have been doing it ever since. Call it not paying attention or whatever you want, but for the longest time I neglected to begin investing in silver. To make up for lost time I first started my investments with American Silver Eagles in 1986 and then foreign silver. This brings me to the main point I wish to make... Having dealt with many coin dealers, both mom and pops, single individuals and companies/governments, The most rewarding experiences have resulted from dealing with Edelman's coins. The selection of varied silver along with the follow-up processing, packaging and shipping is all straightforward - they keep you informed which is one of my sticking points, but with Edelman's there has never been any hiccups. And when you receive your merchandise it is exactly as stated (or even better.) Every chance I get, if Edelman's has it, I will purchase from them. I cannot recommend them highly enough, there just aren't any words good enough... buy from Edelman's, you will be happy you did!
