I bought an anniversary band years ago and recently had it and my wedding ring resized. Borsheims said they couldn't do it, but the staff at 120th street successfully resized them and made them look brand new. I wouldn't have thought of Sol's, but while at the 144th Street store one of the staff mentioned having the jeweler at 120th give a second opinion. I'm so glad I did!

A very pleasant experience! I was going back and forth to retail jewelry stores trying to decide on a bracelet for my mother's Christmas present. My grandfather suggested checking out Sol's because he has shopped there for years. I had never set foot inside a pawn shop before, so I was not sure what to expect. Right away I knew I was in the right place. I was greeted by a gentleman I had often seen featured in a special "mommy" segment for the midday news. This made me feel comfortable....knowing that I was dealing with a reputable man. His name is John and he is the manager. John and the lady who also helped me both knew more about jewelry than anyone I had spoken with at the national chain jewelry stores I had been to! They were also much nicer. There was so much to choose from, but I finally settled on a bracelet that was heavier gold and had better quality diamonds than the one I almost bought at the other store. The BEST PART: It was $305 cheaper!! I bought a wonderful present that made my mom's eyes water, and I kept money in my pocket at Christmas time!! Thank you Sol's!

Doing business with Sol's has been good for our company in terms of saving money, and we recommend them to anyone looking to purchase tools and equipment of any kind. The prices are good, and the quality of the merchandise has always been excellent with anything we have purchased. The people who work there are friendly and respectful. I point this out because it is rare to find either quality in any employee these days. Not only are the employees at Sol's nice when you buy things, but I have heard several transactions where the customers were treated very well when selling items. We will definitely continue doing business at this Sol's location.

John is amazing and he runs a fantastic store. I just left the mall after two hours of shopping for a ring for my fiance at all of the regular jewelry stores. The mall prices were high and the knowledge of the mall salespeople I met was low. On a whim I stopped into Sol's on 120th & West Center. They were busy, but they made a point of waiting on everyone right away. A gentleman by the name of John helped me. I was immediately blown away by the knowledge displayed by John. He was able to explain aspects of different rings so that I could make an educated decision about what would work best for us. Once I decided on a diamond, I asked John if we could swap it from a white gold ring/setting to a yellow gold one. Not only did he say yes, but there was no additional charge AND it was done in about half an hour! I was able to take home the perfect ring at half the price of the rings I was shown at the mall stores. They even gave me a beautiful, black, velvet box to make it extra special when I gave it to my fiance. She LOVES the ring, she said "yes", and she has been making her friends jealous by wearing it ever since. Thank you, John, for helping us find a better ring at a better price. Now she is happy and I still have money in my pocket.

Originally my fiancé and I had a bad experience with the customer service at this location. The very next day the owner of Sol's himself went the extra mile to reach out and contact us. He apologized to us and said he would be talking to his staff about this . I've never had an owner of business reach out and try to make it right like this owner has. Absolutely Amazing!

Best selection of top end watches in the area and best prices too. I got an amazing deal on a Breitling Navitimer last year and couldn't be happier. Why shop at Borsheims when you can get a better deal on the real thing here?

These people have been very, VERY fair, and understanding with me, every time I went into their store. I sold them about 1/3 of my pocket knife collection. They gave me a VERY fair price. I've also sold them handguns and tools, as well as some electronic equipment. Although I've not sold to them, every time I've gone there, they've always been fair on their offers, I will continue to do business with Sol's because I think they have a lot of honesty and integrity in their dealings.

Thank you for having a kind friendly staff and the locations John runs are always personable, kind and friendly, but I will never step foot into the Original location on N. 16th as to the experience I had today.I have been doing business with this location for years and purchased 1,000s of dvds, blurays and video games without a problem. Yesterday I purchased Seasons 2 thru 7 of Bones on dvd. I got home and played a disc and it kept pausing so I pulled it out and it was scratched to all hell so I checked the rest of the seasons and they were all seriously scratched to the unplayable extent. So today I went in just to see if I could exchange them and the girl that sold them to me knew they were the ones she sold me and got the Manager Tracy and she said she can't do anything that's why they check them when they buy them in, well someone didn't check these discs and she can't tell me that they check every disc because I've seen numerous employees just count them and give the person the money. Well I will never step foot in that location ever again they are losing over 10 years of business where I was in there every other day selling and buying more stuff over 6 lousy dvd seasons that could have just easily been exchanged I literally threw them in the white trashcan on my way out because it would be cheaper to buy the complete series online then pay $3 a disc to have those 30 discs buffed out. I will be boycotting the N.16th Downtown location from here on out and anybody I know I will pass the word on to.

I needed my ring sized up from a 6 to a 7. Went in yesterday, and about an hour later it was finished! Fair pricing and she did an amazing job! Definitely recommend for jewelry repair!

This store is better than the downtown store. I called the 120th st store, and asked if they had silver eagles and the dates I needed. They said I would have to stop in and said they didn't know if they had what I wanted. So I drove over and they were slow to help. When I did get service they were very friendly. However they only had half of what I was looking for. Over all it was a Ok experience. If your time is limited you might want to go somewhere else.

Gotta say: I have been buying and selling at this location for years. ( mostly selling, as a guy getting anally probed in child support..) but TODAY, I stopped in over my lunch break searching for a guitar for my son for his 15th birthday. I had already stopped at the La Vista location to be met with zero customer service, and folks behind the counter that didnt even grace me with their attention, when I decided to head here . I was blown away by the guitar guy at THIS location on 120th. Wish I would have caught his name. I told him what I was looking for, price range, and within minutes he had 4 options on the floor for me to try out. Ive been a guitarist for 30 years and I know a deal when I see one. Within 30 minutes I was walking out the door with a gift for my son. May not be a brand new guitar, but to him it is, and the best this dad can do. I cant be more pleased with the 120th store. The others need some work.
