(excuse the wear and tear in the photo, i actually bought the ring several months ago and wear it daily) I traveled to Omaha from Chicago for a work trip, and as a jewelry lover I was so excited when I found this shop. The selection is absolutely gorgeous and there’s a variety of styles, so there’s something for everyone. I wasn’t planning on buying anything, but once I saw this ring I returned to the store every day just to try it on and look at everything. The staff was incredibly helpful and super kind. Even though I walked out several times without buying anything, they answered all my questions and allowed me to look as much as I wanted. I eventually realized I just had to have this ring, and they helped me get set up with the layaway program, which I very much appreciated! Shipping was fast and easy, and if Im ever in the area again I will absolutely return! THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH I’m in love and I get compliments all the time! gorgeous ring (also thank you to the designer, whoever you are), great staff, wonderful experience 10/10

I had a bag of jewelry that I collected over 30 years. Took the items to Goldsmith Silversmith in Omaha. The ladies where helpful told me I need to have the owner look at it. Came back and had a very interesting conversation with Dwayne. Told him I wanted a custom ring made. Had certain stone, and pieces from my jewelry I wanted incorporated in my new ring. It came out perfect. Very excited to show it off. Thank you

Highly recommend!!! So thankful! Dwaine single handedly saved our engagement! The ring my partner ordered from Etsy was "lost in transit" only days to before our international vacation where he planned to propose. Fortunately, his parents kind enough to gift us a gorgeous, art nouveau, heirloom ring from his great-great-grandmother. We took it down to Goldsmith Silversmith and Dwaine stretched the ring for free and appraised it for a very reasonable rate. He even recommended an insurance company (with great rates and coverage) which checked off one more thing on the "to do" list ! All was accomplished in time for us to head off on vacation!

We visited the shop because of its great reviews and were convinced of every single word. The complimentary cleaning of the jewelry was excellent as well as the service. Grace was so charming and graceful throughout our experience. To give you an idea my wife left a pair of earrings for repair which was well done and we bought a couple of additional earrings sets. Each visit was a very nice experience. We highly recommend shop the excellent jewelry and specifically the great staff (all are excellent). We will be back when we return to Omaha from Puerto Rico.

My all time favorite jewelry store!! The staff is so friendly and helpful I took a ring to be fixed to a jeweler closer to where I live and he couldn’t fix it so I brought it to Goldsmith silversmith where I should have just gone first because they not only fixed it in a timely manner they also did a wonderful job and made it look better then when I bought it!!! Stopped in on Sunday to get three watches adjusted to fit. I had waited until we were downtown to have this done because of the excellent service experienced during my last visit. This was no different. They greeted us and took the time to make sure of the way I wanted them to fit. All three were worked on right away. I can now wear them without the worry of them being too tight or too loose. I would recommend them highly for any repairs or if in the market for new jewelry!

I absolutely love my beautifully crafted bracelet my boyfriend gave me for Christmas! Goldsmith is a small boutique jewelry store in the quaint Old Market in Omaha and has been around for many years. They offer really traditional pieces and custom unique pieces. They had the designer craft a bracelet to fit my wrist, sent it to an engraver for a beautiful message inside, and shipped to me. A fantastic experience all the way around. This is a bracelet I will wear daily with two others in my collection. Thank you Goldsmith!

I've been going here for years. Years ago they helped me design an engagement ring for my wife that is unique I paid a comparable or lower price than one of the big jewelry chains and my wife truly has a one of a kind ring. ever since I've gone to them for all my jewelry. I do not have a massive jewelry budget but Dwaine or anyone working there has always helped me find a great piece in my price range with no pressure or up selling.

The front counter staff were busy with other customers when I first arrived but Dwaine noticed me right away from the back and took it upon himself to see how he could assist me. He was both cordial and up front about the anticipated timeline for getting the work that I had requested. Upon discovering I had the pieces in question with me, he asked to take a look at them on the spot, and ended up being able to accommodate my needs right then and there. After my experience, I'll be bringing some additional items by in the near future to have them adjusted in a similar way. The items available in store are beautiful and unique as well, and I must admit to noting a few gift ideas while I was there. Excellent work by an excellent craftsman!

I wanted a necklace to commemorate two rafting trips down the Grand Canyon, but couldn’t find anything I liked anywhere on the web (I looked). Based on a photo I’d taken, Dwaine and Jim, the talented, experienced jewelers at Goldsmith Silversmith created a beautiful, custom silver pendant for me. The work is exquisite, multilayered and textured, with an open section for the river. Elizabeth followed up with me during every stage of the process, and the final price was WELL below her initial estimate. I’ll wear this piece every day with pleasure!

Dwaine buffed the sapphire stone on my ring, and did an amazing job (as I understand it, sapphire is a challenging stone to work with). Goldsmith Silversmith provides superb customer service and I would highly recommend this business to anyone who's seeking to purchase jewelry or have jewelry repaired. And if you have a few minutes to spare, ask Dwaine about how he got his start in the jewelry business, and some of the famous customers that he's served over the years. He should write a book!

Amazing gold and silversmith. I stopped in about 6pm ish on a sunday to see if he could fix my watches. Not only did he get two of them up and running he also resized them so they would fit better and he set the correct date and time on them as well. It took about 2hrs best decision I made regarding my watches that day

I have known Dwaine for years as my “go to” jeweler. It is fun to work with him, no matter what your budget. Recently we took some friends in to meet Dwaine. The woman had lost her wedding band that she had had for nearly 50 years. Dwaine and his very knowledgeable sales person worked with them until they were completely satisfied. My wife also found a very nice pair of custom earrings that Dwaine had made, which she purchased. Dwayne worked closely with my fiancé and I to get his ring to fit perfectly. This jewelry shop is one of the only places I would trust with my jewelry. Right when you walk into the shop, you can tell you are going to be treated well. The jewelers really listened to us and gave us their undivided attention. We got a great deal for our jewelry; even though the price of gold had gone up considerably from when the item had been marked, they sold us the piece for the price listed. If you want someone who you can trust with your valuables, the Goldsmith is the place I’d recommend! Also, if you’re lucky, you’ll be greeted by Finn, the friendly cat, when you walk in.

Went in for some springbars for a pretty unique bracelet (1965 rolex 7206/58). Dwaine and staff were extremely helpful. They sifted through their parts and found ones that fit perfectly. Super nice and pleasant staff! Would recommend them to anyone.

My mom had a necklace with a twisted chain that she took to them. They fixed the chain in less than a minute and also cleaned both the necklace and ring! She said the necklace looked as new as the day she purchased it! They were so nice and it was a great experience. Definitely recommend!

This business is amazing. I worked with Elizabeth and Jim, and while Elizabeth is the one I actually spoke to, Jim is the one who worked on my 1950's era locket. Elizabeth is amazingly kind and gives tons of great information in store. She also readily and enthusiastically engaged my children. I went in to fix the inner lip of my locket and expected to pay $50-60, and it not only took Jim mere moments to fix, but was a fraction of that(quoted $30). He said no cost, but you don't just leave a place like that with nothing. We are definitely going there again and find their work to be top notch! Also noteworthy, they carry local artist's work! Amazing space and definitely worth a visit or 10.

I bought a special ring while traveling in Ireland a year and a half ago. I had gotten a ring a good couple of sizes too big (I had just come off of 10 days of Cruise Ship eating). I stopped in to Goldsmith Silversmith to see if the ring could be resized. I expected to leave my ring, and pay for the service, and pick it up in a couple of weeks. Instead, he offered an alternative. He said he had a device that would round the edges in, resulting in a tighter fit. He went in the back with my ring, and in 60 seconds (seriously, it was that fast), he returned and it was tighter! 4 more trips to the back, and my ring is now tight enough to not slip carelessly off of my finger. When I asked how much I owed, he waived his hand as signal that there was no charge. I tried to pay, and he insisted that there was no charge. He even offered to adjust further if after a few days I wanted it a little tighter. Looking around the shop, I saw a lot of very beautiful jewelry on display. If you're in the market for some beautiful jewelry, I hope you'll stop into Goldsmith Silversmith.

Love this goldsmith! I have been given 3 sets of beautiful earrings over the last 30 years and they are still gorgeous. Most recently, I took in a custom ring that they designed. A ring that my husband bought for me on the birth of our daughter, 24 years ago. Gold band, with a brilliant diamond and a cornflower blue sapphire. It has been on my finger everyday for the last 24 years and it only needed a couple of prongs replaced after all that time. When that same daughter turned 18, she and Dwayne together, designed a very special silver ring with a loose blue sapphire we brought in. Beautifully crafted and a one of a kind family heirloom. I took in a favorite cross pendant I jad been unable to wear for years because one of the larger gemstones fell out and was lost. Dwaine put a beautiful stone in that he found that matched better than the original. When I was ready to pay for the work he had done, to my astonishment there was no charge! Quaint little shop that feels like your stepping back in time when actual craftsmen worked in the shop you walked into, instead of just reselling merchandise from across the globe. Wonderful customer service too. Brought in two watches to have batteries replaced and the gentleman working on my job wasn't able to get one of them open, despite his best effort. He was able to change the other watch battery and offered to not charge anything since he couldn't get both of them changed. I insisted on paying for the one, but that's just not the kind of down to earth, real people interactions you tend to experience in today's retail world. While I was only needing to have done batteries changed, the experience and feel of this shop would definitely make me come back if I were interested in purchasing jewelry!

I like knowing that there is not another one like it, just like my wife. Whenever we are in the area we stop in and visit the shop. Dwaine and his staff are always fun to chat with.

We ended up going to Goldsmith Silversmith because another jeweler downtown didn't feel comfortable working on 18K rose gold for some reason. 99.99 % of the time dwane is great, my last experience was sub optimal but that isn't standard. If it is the older lady who is working request someone else, Everytime I have had to work with her it ends with me walking out hours later with nothing accomplished, also she is super condescending. I stopped into this jeweler's store in search of some cleaning services for some old jewelry that I had. Not only did they clean my pieces immediately without requiring me to drop off and pick up, but they did not even charge me for it. This was one of the few businesses I have been to recently who felt like they were in it for the trade and helping their fellow man above the greed of so many businesses these days. I didn't feel like just another way to make money, I felt like a new friend. I would highly recommend this shop from everything to cleaning and repairs to buying new pieces.
