There is never a dull moment when working with Lauren, of Lauren B Jewelry, on brilliant, creative and sparkly new projects! She has come up with spectacular designs, time and time again, with my very own personal taste and preferences in mind… Lauren and I have worked on many pieces together, and this last, three stone diamond engagement ring (an upgrade from my original engagement ring) is definitely my crowning jewel! I initially had some rough elements dreamt up for it, and then Lauren went into action like the little bluebirds in, “Cinderella,” did with her dress, swirling the whole concept together in addition to including small, yet impactful, details as well, which I firmly believe is exactly why her settings are the most exquisite, bar none. Also, Lauren having the exact diamonds that I longed for already in house, was extremely helpful in getting the ring into production that much sooner, which completely delighted me! I just cannot express how grateful I am to have not only have found Lauren B Jewelry, but also, to work with Lauren, herself… The details that she remembers about each client is amazing - when I received my stunning three stone diamond engagement ring, along with a diamond eternity wedding band that we had made to go with it, I happened to try it on with my other gorgeous, wider Lauren B diamond eternity wedding band (both looks are pictured here) and it sat completely flush to my new ring! I called to tell her how excited I was that it did, and she told me she absolutely made sure it would as she used the exact dimensions of the ring that I previously purchased from them to determine the height and contours when making the new engagement ring! No detail slips past Lauren, that’s for certain, and I thoroughly appreciate her smart foresight, but above all, her thoughtfulness. Many thanks goes out to Lauren, the Lauren B Team and their Craftspeople. Together, they make meaningful jewelry that will accompany people throughout their everyday lives, celebrations, beautiful milestones, and so much more… Each creation holds on to tangible piece of our memories.💓

I’ve followed Lauren B’s account for years and had a few friends get their rings from Lauren B as well, so, when it was time to start looking I knew this is where I wanted to get my ring! I highly recommend buying your ring from Lauren B! My fiance and I are getting married on April 2022 and started browsed for wedding bands in January. Thankfully, the bands we selected provided perfect timing for production and delivery since we are in New Jersey. Kimberly was AWESOME. We let her know an estimated budget & preferences (Since I was interested in multiple bands to go along with my beautiful engagement ring which we also created at Lauren B). Before our in person appointment she took the time to try on multiple bands and provided pictures & even videos so I had an idea on the look. Kimberly helped us and EXECUTED on every level the day of our appointment. She showed us many bands and suggested ideas that would pair well for me while still staying within budget. Getting engaged during a pandemic wasn't easy but Claire made the process go so smooth. We had scheduled a trip to NYC in July 2020 but due to the travel restrictions we were unable to go. IF YOU LIVE OUT OF STATE AND ARE SKEPTICAL BECAUSE YOU CANT TRAVEL TO SEE THE RING IN PERSON THIS IS FOR YOU. My dad was ready to propose to his girlfriend and wanted to do it by Christmas of 2021. His then girlfriend (now fiancé) saw one of Lauren B’s YouTube videos of the exact ring she wanted and I knew I had to make it happen. I typed in the ring setting from the YouTube video and reached out to a Lauren B colleague online, which was Brant. Brant was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and willing to go above and beyond to make sure that our requests were taken care of. We live in Arizona so we were unable to travel to New York to see the ring setting my dad‘s girlfriend wanted in-person so we solely had to put our trust in Brant and in the company to create the exact same ring in the video. Without having seen the ring, or speaking to Brant on the phone and communicating solely through email (whoops), we trusted his words and sent over half of the payment for the ring to get it in production. He sent me updates so I knew how far along the ring was in production and when the ring was completed he sent me videos of the ring, the stones, the settings, everything! He then shipped the ring to us overnight with a signature. We were shocked when we opened the package to say the least… It was everything and more than we could’ve ever expected and by far the most beautiful engagement ring we’ve ever seen. My dad‘s now fiancé literally cannot go in public without somebody pulling her to the side and commenting on her ring. After seeing it I now will not settle for anything less from my own man....LOL Brant was beyond excellent to work with and I have recommended him to multiple friends of mine who plan on getting their ring made through Lauren B as well. He was so thorough in his work and made sure we felt comfortable with our decision given we weren't able to see any of the designs in person and he knew that was a little nerve wracking for us. So if you’re skeptical because you live out of state and you’re not able to travel to see their settings are stones in person, put your trust in this company and get your most perfect ring made with Brant. I won’t lie, there were certain times we were nervous about sending such a substantial amount of money to a company we weren’t able to visit and to an associate we had never met in person before, as most people would be but it was seriously the greatest decision we ever made. We had nothing but an amazing experience with him and it was by far the most beautiful ring we’ve ever seen and we’re so glad that we went with Lauren B and Brant assisted us throughout the whole experience. I cannot recommend him enough. Our ring was a 3ct VVS2 radiant diamond set in the RS-241(three-row cathedral) setting and in 14k white gold.

In the spring of 2022, after getting a few recommendations from close friends and family, I decided to visit Lauren B's showroom/store in Midtown Manhattan to start looking for an engagement ring for my girl friend. Making an appointment was very easy through their online website and the store itself was bright, clean, and in a perfect location. I had the pleasure of working with Niraj Sheth from my first visit and my entire experience was fantastic from the outset. Niraj was incredibly professional, gave me honest and clear advice, and provided constant, timely updates throughout the entire process of selecting a diamond, customizing the engagement ring and shipping it to my door. I met with him a total of three times and he helped make the process extremely educational and stress-free. Niraj was able to work with my budget to maximize what I was paying for and ultimately get the perfect ring. I cannot recommend him enough! My Lauren B review I decided to purchase a ring from Lauren B, it took me over a year to make a purchase only because I wanted to get the perfect diamond(s), shape, and setting for my wife. When I finally decided to take the plunge after finding the perfect ring, Fabrizio returned my emails. After several emails, he made it easy to make a purchase. The process was simple and not complicated. To make sure the ring would fit, he express mail a sizer. After finalizing everything that I wanted, I also made an additional purchase for myself to match my wife’s ring. About 2-3 weeks past, the rings were completed. Fabrizio sent me a video and wow! I was stunned and very happy. Once the rings arrived to my home, I was so excited to surprise my wife. After placing it on her finger, it just amazing how stunning the ring was. This was my second time going to Lauren B as my first ring from them I brought my own diamond and they made the setting. Their signature band is very dainty and thin and while I personally love this look, unfortunately mine eventually bent out of shape after only 3 years. While I was disappointed they couldn’t help to fix that one, my husband and I used it as an opportunity to upgrade. Fabrizio was great and offered us a great deal on the stone plus lots of guidance along the way (I’m pretty indecisive and he put up with my questions and back-n-forths). He also was very patient and flexible on payment timeline to make it work for us. Additionally, production and shipping was ultra fast. I was referred to Lauren B from a friend that came here for his wife's engagement ring. My experience with Lauren B and more specifically Eddie was a 10 out of 10 experience. Eddie took me in as a walk-in appointment and walked me through a ton of options. He was incredible patient with me and did not try to sell me at all. I went to about 12 other jewelers and he was the only person that was not pressuring or salesy. Eddie was the perfect salesman for someone like me, he showed me the options and let me make my decision without being rushed. Eddie was also incredibly responsive. We were so fortunate that Lauren B was holding a pop-up in Los Angeles right when my wife and I were in the process of shopping for engagement rings. We had tried the LA diamond district and felt like we had no idea whether we were being scammed or not. They can pretty much make whatever design you want and will send you videos of the ring if you are not local prior to shipping. Again Claire helped us pick out a band, this time completely virtually as she tried on different bands with the same engagement ring my wife had tried on at their pop-up a year before. After our appointment I worked with Haley to customize a ring with the specifications that Katie liked. I recently purchased my 3rd ring from Lauren B - an oval eternity band for my wife as a “push gift” as she calls it. The ring is amazing, and was completed on time and is exactly what she wanted - beautiful!! Niraj S. was helpful throughout the process, but to be honest there is room for improvement with his organization / overall sales buying experience. For example I booked an appointment and drove in from NJ, after telling him I exactly want to see with models #’s to reference …..and he starts off the appointment showing me men’s wedding bands? Then scrambled to pull some of the actual rings I was interested in….. Miss #2- after settling on the ring, he sends me my order confirmation and it’s for someone else’s engagement ring with all their info on it…. I also had to ask him to capture additional ring setting details that he did not include in my work order. Overall I’m super happy with the ring, but if I decide to purchase my 4th piece of jewelry from LB, I will probably choose someone else as my sales person. When you are spending this amount of $$ at a premier jeweler, you should have a flawless buying experience.

I ultimately got my dream ring, but it wasn't worth the experience. I got a rough order of magnitude estimate for budgeting purposes on a somewhat simple custom design (6 prong round halo with pave band set in yellow gold, only stones on top of the halo, not the side). Several months later, I reached back out to finalize the design and price point with the same design consultant. The design consultant couldn't keep the design straight, quoting me multiple prices, writing down the wrong design on the quote. The custom design required half up front, which was not a problem. I paid half of the quote and noted that the design was incorrect, with the details to correct the specification (no stones on side of halo - I do not want to worry about these stones scratching another band). I also noted that since this would likely lower the quote, I was fine with leaving a more than 50% deposit since I'd be paying in full. The design consultant corrected the design and provided a new quote that reflected this price. A few weeks later, I was sent a video of the ring, which was 4 prongs instead of the 6 I ordered. Although it was still gorgeous, it wasn't my dream ring, much less what I asked and paid for. I stated that the video seemed to only show 4 prongs. The design consultant responded acknowledging the 4 prongs vice six, apologizing for not noticing it first and stated that it could be remade with 6 prongs, but that the jeweler said it wouldn't look good. I requested that it be remade because this was not what I ordered. A couple weeks later, I got a second video of a ring that looked like it was the original 4 prong ring (with 4 stems) and the prongs removed to place 6 prongs instead. I stated that it didn't look like it was remade and it only had the 4 stems - my original design was 6 prongs to have included the stems. Admittedly, I didn't explicitly state this was to include stems, but this should have been a question the design consultant should have asked since this was the aspect of the design I was most adamant about. The design consultant claimed it was remade and I ended up settling for the ring. I received the ring via overnight mail, and noticed immediately that the prongs were white gold, not yellow. I took the ring to an independent jeweler for an appraisal and to document the exact details since the appraisal they gave me was inaccurate enough that it would've drawn questions if I needed to file a claim in the future. The jeweler noted that there were sections on the halo that looked like excess gold, right where the original 4 prongs would have been! I contacted the store via phone to discuss this, and an associate was very helpful, stating that they want to correct this and to send an email to the customer service requesting customer support get involved at this point. I did so and was contact immediately the next business day by management, who wanted to make things right. I sent the ring back (LaurenB paid shipping both ways for this), and had a telephone call with the manager who quickly noted my exact design preferences, and apologized for the issues, stating the jeweler had told them the ring was completely remade. A couple weeks later, I got a video of the completed ring, which was finally exactly what I had originally requested. I ultimately received the ring I wanted and absolutely LOVE it, but I will never buy from LaurenB again. The original design consultant was horrible with attention to detail, getting my design incorrect multiple times during the design process, misquoting me, and then claimed to not have noticed the glaring mistakes in both rings when they were made - this all at a "reputable" jewelry store. While working with me during the first mistake (4 prongs vice 6), communicated that the preference of ring I wanted wouldn't look good in an effort to seemingly make me take a design I never order. Then didn't notice when more mistakes were made.

A few months ago, my boyfriend (now fiance) and I went to a Lauren B Pop-Up event in Washington, DC. I am totally obsessed with the brand, and since they're based in NYC I thought I'd never get to visit their store - so I was super excited just to go see some of their pieces in person! She showed us some beautiful rings and asked me all about what I liked and didn't like, she sized me and taught me exactly how a ring should properly fit (so the center stone isn't rotating on your finger). UPDATE: After Covid-19 cancelled our trip to NY to get my wedding band, I worked and ordered it remotely with Claire. She was also great in answering my questions and making sure that the band I liked would fit under the low profile of my engagement ring. I chose their new compass style band and it was stunning. LaurenB used to be that unrealistic instagram account I would just drool over, looking at all of their stunning rings, settings, and wedding bands. After I got engaged in 2019, I obviously kept gawking over their IG account - basically learning every little thing there is to know about diamonds and engagement rings (SO HELPFUL). As busy as he was the week before Christmas, he answered all of my questions (90 minute initial phone call) , made my inquiry a priority by sending me HD videos on the spot, and even squeezed me in his hectic schedule the very next day. He was so knowledgable, personable, and genuine. I did not feel like I was getting “scammed” like at many other jewelry stores and Fabrizio was able to create my dream ring in no time! The store took all COVID-19 precautions (temperature checks at door, hand sanitizing, masks, and social distancing) and the experience as a whole was great. My fiance and I got engaged over the summer, so my review is long overdue, but nonetheless well deserved. Last year we went to Lauren B to scope out my favorite ring I had seen on their site. The store is small, but because we had made an appointment, I felt that it was very personal and Ruth was very attentive and knowledgeable at our appointment. I was there to see a specific ring that I had mind, I am stubborn and wasn't interested in seeing a lot else, and that was respected and I wasn't pushed onto anything bigger or more expensive which I really appreciated. All of our questions were answered and Ruth was so incredibly nice, just as the rest of the staff there that day was as well. The store is so clean and pretty I might add. A few months after we got engaged, I damaged my ring during a vacation. I was devastated and as soon as we got home, my fiance contacted Ruth to get a quote to get it fixed. She was so quick in responding and taking care of us. We shipped the ring back to the store, and within 8 or so days, I had the ring back on my finger, and you would never know what happened. It was hassle free and extremely quick which is amazing. It was one of the best experiences we have ever had a jewelry store, I cannot say enough nice things about them. Its been 7 months and I still stare at my hand daily. I am obsessed with my ring. I've always imagined my ideal engagement ring, long before I even got engaged. I discovered LaurenB on Instagram when I saw that exact ring on their feed! It was exactly how I imagined, except with an asscher cut. I've been in love with asscher cuts for as long as I can remember--such a unique cut that not too many people know about, and I knew I wanted my engagement ring to be unique and unlike any others. I showed my (eventual) fiancé the ring and a short time later he began working with Fabrizio to make a customized version...and man oh man did it turn out AMAZING!!! My fiancé put his own flair on the design, and engraved it as well which made it even more special. I was blown away!! I didn't even know the proposal was coming I'm so in love with my ring and the love of my life for creating such a beautiful work of art, and I still can't stop staring at. My ring is all iced out set in a double halo with the inner halo slightly smaller and slanted to highlight the center stone, three sided diamonds on the band with diamonds on the stems too. Two of the pave diamonds fell out shortly after I got the ring. Fabrizio put us in touch with Henri who is in charge of customer service and he was spectacular! We went back to NYC to shoot our engagement pictures and had a short window to get the ring fixed before we left; Henri was so helpful and got my ring fixed within two hours so we didn't have to get it shipped home. He was so helpful and friendly! We also met Fabrizio again that weekend to look at wedding bands. I described to him what I had in mind and he showed us the perfect band that matched my description. We can't wait to work with Fabrizio again to create my wedding band. LaurenB has the BEST designs and customer experience. If you're looking for something out of this world for your engagement ring and would like to customize something that is truly unique to you, this is THE PLACE!

Lauren B TL;DR Lauren B is amazing in every regard! Design, craftsmanship, diamond selection, transparency, customer service, responsiveness, price, and ease of doing business. The ring: RS-246 - two-tone engagement ring with a white gold double edged halo around an oval center diamond, atop a rose gold pavé band Full story: My journey with Lauren B began when my then girlfriend, now fiancé (!), Anna, showed me their Instagram page. Anna raved about their ring designs, especially with regards to micro pavé. The only problem was I was living in San Francisco, Anna was getting her MBA at Stanford, and Lauren B is in New York. On a trip to Manhattan last Fall, we scheduled an appointment and to see Lauren B in person. This was a preliminary visit as we were still months away from being engaged. However, we learned that the engagement rings were even more stunning in person than they were on Instagram! When the time came to get the wheels in motion, I reached out to Lauren B directly. We communicated over the phone and via email. She was unbelievable! Having never gone through a process like this before (very green), I did as much research as I could, but Lauren helped walk me though every step of the way. We discussed setting styles, metals, and options. We discussed my goals for the ring and the qualities that were important to us. When I pressed her on other jewelers, she gave candid, straight forward answers. She helped teach me about ring design, diamond selection, and the manufacturing process. To me, choosing the setting was the easy part. It is much more objective. When it comes to selecting the right stone, things get a little tricky. I had tons of worries: that I would get squeezed, that the diamond would be less than what it should be, and that the price would be too high. I was worried about being made a fool. Lauren quickly put all those fears to rest. She sent me over several HD videos via YouTube of the actual stones that we had narrowed down. She sent me GIA reports of each of the stones. To be honest, I shopped around Blue Nile and talked to local jewelers. No one could be Lauren B on price, quality, and service. It was a no brainer to get the setting and stone from them. I should also add that I began talking to Lauren about 6 weeks before I planned to pop the question. The fabrication process takes 4-6 weeks. Lauren had it ready in 3 weeks and had it sent to San Francisco by an overnight courier. So amazing! The ring arrived in a non-descript shipping box. It came with everything we would need, including an appraisal and the original GIA certificate for the center stone. I was able to pay by credit card, which was a nice bonus! In early July I asked the love of my life to marry me in a beautiful park in Reykjavik, Iceland. Her parents, sister, and friend were with us and helped me put together our perfect proposal. I am grateful to Lauren B and everything she did to help make this step something we will never forget. I know that buying a ring, sight unseen, from a jeweler 3000 miles away sounds crazy, but, I assure you, it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The entire experience was seamless. Lauren is a true professional and master at her craft. She was quick to respond, thorough, and thoughtful. Lauren, thank you for everything! Upon making my appointment at Lauren B, I had the pleasure of working with Fabrizio. I went into their NYC showroom on a Sunday (make sure to make an appointment) and Fab was amazing to work with. So, my husband and I got married 15 years ago. We lived in NYC, and I would walk by and look at the Lauren B displays (then on 5th Avenue). We ended up with an imitation ring, a bad stone and a lot of "settling." Since then, we have moved to 2 other states, had two children, and developed our careers. Lauren B was only one of two places I could find that offered a double edge halo. Also one of the only places that makes them custom to your diamond and uses the quality of diamonds used in your main stone for the halo diamonds. I was looking at local custom jewelers and other jewelers, and by the time they added in the customizations that I wanted, I could have bought the real deal from Lauren B and get better quality and hand-crafting! Claire was super helpful and showed us videos of the rings we were looking at. They will also make changes on the color of metal whether on the halo, the ring itself, anywhere on the ring-- for no extra charge, and were the only store I found with so many two-tone choices! The quality of our wedding bands were great, so I'd recommend them from that perspective. However, the expectations set for our timeline and lack of communication was frustrating and added lots of stress to the lead-up of our wedding. Our initial appointment was two months before we departed for our wedding. Our salesperson told us that was plenty of time--the rings should take about one month. We picked out our rings that day and paid for our order. About 6-7 weeks later, we hadn't heard anything, and begun emailing and calling. Our salesperson was frequently out of the office and only got back to us sporadically. When we called and he wasn't there, no one else at Lauren B could give us any info on the progress of our order. He assured us that our rings would be completed before our wedding day, but never offered specific updates or dates. It was always us following up rather than receiving proactive updates. Our rings were finally ready the day of our flight to our wedding destination, so I had to pick them up hours before we left for the airport. The employees blamed the delay on COVID supply chain issues, which may have been true, but the lengthy delays without updates added stress to an already stressful time, and at one point my fiancee and I were mentally prepared to just go through our wedding ceremony without our rings. Again, the quality of the rings were great and it did work out in the end, but more transparency and proactive communication from day one would've made our experience much less frustrating.

The entire process was excellent, but there are two aspects that we want to especially highlight. 1) We came into the process blind. My fiance's friend told me about Lauren B, and I reached out expecting them to be a good starting point but that they'd ultimately be too expensive. I was completely wrong. For the level of service and customization that they offered, I found Lauren B to be a bargain. I was constantly comparing the prices against Blue Nile, who I thought would be the cheapest, and they were roughly the same. Even if they weren't, going with Lauren B is a must because of how much time they take to make sure that the ring is perfect.
