Great people. I got my engagement ring and both wedding bands here. Unfortunately, in the year we’ve had the engagement ring I’ve had to bring it back 4 times to get the center stone tightened. It is a quick and easy turnaround but it still makes us uneasy that it has happened so often. We wanted to use the original diamond he had picked, but put it into a different setting. Craig Hussars was the 4th jewelry store we went to look at and ended up heading that way at the encouragement of my parents who have had nothing but good experiences with them. I cannot express how happy I am that we went there! We met Ramiah the very first day and over the following 2 months she spent countless hours helping us to create the perfect ring! The store is new and very well organized. I can tell someone has put a lot of time and thought into merchandising the display cases. There is a nice selection of jewelry at a variety of price points from costume jewelry to more expensive pieces. They also carry a number of different watch brands loved by watch enthusiasts, as well as a pre-owned luxury watch section. Service is very friendly. Every time I've been there I've been greeted by someone promptly who is eager to help.

I purchased my wedding band from Lyle Husar about 5 years ago and worked with Craig and his team which brought me back to what’s now Craig’s business. I typically don’t bother with writing reviews but I feel the staff is exceptional (as it was then). Patient, courteous, and knowledgeable. They listen to what you say and offer sound advice. This time in I wanted loose diamonds set into stud earrings. Because of the new location I assumed the prices were going to be unreasonable but after visiting I found that the cost would be less than other area options. The competition down the street just gave me a single high price for the entire catalog and online store options with little personal service were only slightly under the cost at Craig Husar’s. Ramiah helped me through the paper catalog on my first visit and when I came back I was unsure about my previous pick so she and I expanded the search to the online version and together found a setting I was sure about. We even managed to find a very close style to my wife’s engagement ring. They probably have had many more customers spend far more with far less time invested. In total I spent around 2-3 hours in the store looking before ordering but it was worth it to me and I never felt rushed. I’ll be looking at them first in the future and recommend others at least stop in and speak with the staff, regardless of your budget.

Fantastic experience purchasing an engagement ring here. Entire staff is very friendly but Michelle was awesome working with and made the process not only enjoyable but a major learning experience. I looked at many different locations prior to making the final decision but Husar's had me won. They offered the white glove, Neiman Marcus-like experience with the local mom-n'-pop shop friendliness and care from their staff. We’ve patronized Husars for years, for pretty small things - a pair of earrings, a simple gold band etc. Today, I needed a watch serviced and a ring resized - not a huge $$ thing, but we were treated like we were the only people in the store. I was referred to Lyle Husar Designs after the jeweler we bought my rings from retired. I was nervous about finding someone I could trust. From the moment I walked in everyone made me feel extremely welcome. I was needing my wedding, engagement and another ring resized. I worked with Lindsey to figure out which size would be best while another woman played with my 1 1/2 year old. The process didn't take long at all and they even had the rings done well before they said. Most importantly, the sizing recommendation from Lindsey was perfect! The rings really looked brand new. Oh yes, almost forgot I needed 1 very small stone replaced in the wedding band and it looks flawless now! They also had a very thorough process to ensure your main stone is protected. I even received a hand written thank you note in the mail a few weeks later. I think we found our new jeweler home! Would highly recommend.

Lyle Husar Designs was the first jewelry store I went to when I started looking at different engagement rings and what styles would catch my eye. The first ring I saw was a Simon G. with pink diamonds, it was so beautiful I was nervous to try it on. The employees really made the difference because they wanted to work with me and my budget to put together the ring of my dreams. It was the first jeweler I had visited so I wanted to shop around. At a lot of the other jewelers the first question was asking what my budget was. The focus was more on budget and what I could/could not afford. We went to an event where they were buying old jewelry, silver, etc. They were efficient and the lady greeting us was very nice. The man we worked with seemed ok, and although I suspect Husar got a good deal, we did get some money for stuff we didn't need. The issue? We were more than a little uneasy with his mask wearing, as his nose was essentially always in view, and sometimes we could see his mouth. I am not sure why he bothered. Otherwise, it went well.

They took the time to explain each piece I was interested in. So I could make an educated decision on the best watch for me!! They also had a huge selection of mens jewelry and accessories!! Most places are 98% women's!! The guys just usually get one small case area and that's it!! I've always been disappointed with the selection at most stores in Wisconsin!! You don't have that here!! I got engaged in February and received a family heirloom ring. The ring was too big and I took it in to a different jewelry for a quote. Not only did it need to be resized, but it needed some fixing up. They were kind of pushy and quoted pretty high but made it seem like the final quote was a 'deal', so I looked around and found Lyle Husar's. They were very friendly and helpful and worked with me, quoting less than the other place (even with their apparent deal). They told me I could split up the work as needed and taught me some interesting things about the ring and the work. The first time I went, I spoke with Fernanda who was amazingly nice and so helpful. When I picked it up, it was beautifully polished. After about a week or so, the ring got stuck on my finger and I took it back to say it started to feel too small. They resized it again (at no charge!) and now it is absolutely perfect. I may go back for a wedding band. I bought my fiancé's engagement ring through Husar, specifically dealing with Fernanda Feldman. I wanted this to be a big surprise to my fiancé, so I did not do any in-person shopping with her. I went at it pretty blindly other than knowing the style she wanted. Fernanda helped me through electronic communications. She was a great person to trust. She even called me one day telling me that there was a specific diamond she wanted but on second look there were issues with it. She ended up finding me a much better, clearer, more beautiful diamond. She made everything extremely painless and easy. I also ended getting put on a very tight schedule between buying the diamond and doing the proposal (two weeks exactly) and Fernanda made sure to rush order everything. I had the completed ring in my possession just in time to put together the perfect engagement night. I really cannot recommend Lyle Husar Designs and Fernanda enough. My husband and I went into Lyle Husar Designs after many trips to other local jewelers. After 6 years of marriage, I became allergic to the nickle in my white gold wedding band set, and it was so bad I was no longer able to wear my wedding bands. Other jewelers in the area wanted me to double what the original purchase price of my rings were, and since they require a "diamond for diamond" trade in, I wasn't able to get the rings I wanted. And everything was way out of our price range. Lindsay at Lyle Husar's was the first to talk to me about palladium instead of using platinum, since platinum was much more expensive, and I would be able to get the ring I wanted, well within my price range. She took the time to work with us and create the exact thing I was looking for. They are taking the stones from my original ring, and offering me money in exchange for the scrap gold in my original set as well. I can't wait to see the ring when it's completed, and we will be back when we are in the market for more jewelry.

I worked with their designer for 3 months with many permutations of a special custom ring incorporating sapphires, diamonds and a rhodolite garnet from my mother, grandmother and finance' to celebrate my airborne military service, graduation from medical school and the birth of my daughter...all elements symbolically and expertly captured in this ring. A week doesn't go by when I don't receive a compliment on this unique design! Craig proved his true integrity by helping us sort out this mystery and restore this beautiful stone (which my father inadvertently had sold to them several months prior) to our family at no financial loss to us.
