Just moved out here to Los Angeles about a year ago. I had got in a little pinch with some bills and I needed a wick loan for a few days to pay some bills and I started to looking a online and I found this place. I read nothing but great reviews. I came in and spoke with Pedro and they even gave more than what they normally would for what I had just to help me out. They did so with no question, service was great honestly they were beyond great. I don’t normally do this but they made this experience amazing!!! Just left from getting a loan on a mic. The guys are really cool and the feeling when you walk in is comfortable and laid back. I've been to pawns where it's just an instant bad vibe, and I didn't get that here. They also had some pretty cool things in here. The jewelry section is nice! I love diamonds and they have some really beautiful pieces. They also have some really nice guitars. The place is clean, as well. Not rundown and dirty like most places. These are genuinely good dudes . I raced down there to retrieve my guitar (which they loaned me an amazing amount for just to help out) I got there barely in time and was scraping my car for dimes to squeeze out the very last bit I owed. Efren kept the store open past hours just for me . I was blown away. I have been a customer at this place for 15 years there is nothing I cant tell you about this place. The staff led by Damian and Raphael do there jobs well they are for the most part efficient friendly honest and invested in the jobs they do. They don't mark time and they are usually accommodating. Don't bring nothing to these people. The second time I took a collateral-based loan on my laptop from Zak's Pawn, they insisted that my computer be unlocked in order to secure a collateral-based loan. A blatant disregard for my intellectual property (works of the mind, literary and artistic works, and access to my workplace credentials/subscriptions.) I'm not supposed to walk away from my work computer without locking it! Unacceptable. With the recent surge in cybercrimes (identify theft, CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN and UNSCRUPULOUS STAFFING). A pawnshop with up to 9x people behind the counter at any given time. I was unable to secure a collateral-based loan for securing my sensitive information.
