This is the first Google review I have ever written and I write it for good reason. When one discovers a master of any service or craft, I think one is obligated to share. In a world where business and service has been watered down and lost all its focus on the customer, Mariana Bay Watch Company is a special gem that carrying on the lost art of customer service. Located in an unassuming shopping center on Lincoln Boulevard, this small business is something of another time. A time when a business truly cared about its customers and the quality of service that is offered. The service; the staff; the absolute mastery in craftsmanship is such a refreshing reminder that there are those still out there that really love what they do and for whom they do it. I feel like a friend every time I walk in. Now about the work. The owner, Michael, has personally serviced my early 60's Omega Seamaster 3 times now. Despite the punishment I put it through, he is always able to make this very special item of mine function and shine like it is brand new. He is infinitely knowledgeable and always finds the right and original parts if need be. On top of all that he always has some tips and suggestions to keep this old watch of mine working. The prices are unbelievably fair. They are quick with the turnaround but never sacrifice quality. They stand behind all the work they do. Always. If you own a watch and care about your watch and care about being treated well, then there is no other place to go in Los Angeles then Marina Bay Watch Company. It is just that simple.

Could not be any happier with the service I received when taking in my watch to have a few links removed. It only took a few minutes while they removed the links from my watch and the gentleman who removed the links set all the dials on the watch to the correct time and date. These guys are the best with all kinds of watches. I just got my Dad's 1971 Rolex Zephyr refinished and serviced. I was amazed, it looks like new now and runs like a champ! Also they have been great with all my other watches wether it's battery issue or the movement they can fix anything I bring them and have reasonable pricing as well.

Absolutely the best experience you could imagine. I took my old Tag watch to Marina Bay Watch company. It was passed down to my from my father. A few years ago it gave out on me and I gave up on it. I thought that I’d give it one more try and bring it in to Mike at Marina Bay Watch Company. He explained it would need a new movement and could take up to 3 weeks. To my surprise, I received a call from Maria 5 days later that my watch was ready. Low and behold, Mike made it look brand spankin’ new. Works like a charm and is shiny as can be. I have used Marina Bay Watch Company twice now for two different services. The first was for a watch band replacement and the second was for my wedding band resizing. Their customer service and quality of their work is consistently top notch! The watch band replacement was a challenge because the manufacturer barely had any available and it would have taken three weeks to get a replacement. The individual helping me had some great alternative suggestions for bands that they were willing to custom cut just to get me my watch back sooner. The new band looked fantastic and you could not tell that it was custom cut to fit. For my wedding band resizing, I must give kudos to them again for their patience and willingness to work with me. My ring had to be cut first to reduce the size, but then we realized that because the band was thick it should have been cut slightly less (my fault for choosing the wrong target size from the start) and then had to be widened to accommodate for the extra grab on my finger. Both resizing operations looked impeccable and we eventually got it to a size that fit my finger very well. Being that my band once belonged to my father who is no longer alive, it had huge sentimental value to me and I wasn't willing to trust just anyone with it. I am glad I brought it to Marina Bay Watch Company. They handled my band with the utmost care and now I have the perfect ring for my wedding! I can't thank them enough for their services.

Michael and Maria were lovely and friendly about it and Michael did solve my problem, the watch is running smooth and clean. The service at Marina Bay Watch Company is amazing. Took my Tag F1 there last year for a battery change and they were amazingly friendly and helpful then - less than a year later it stopped working again. I suspected perhaps it was the battery but Michael confirmed that the battery had somehow slipped loose and perhaps it had been dropped but changed it for free a courtesy. Also examined the movement on my Raymond Weil which had stopped working, diagnosed the problem and gave me a fair price and timeline to have it fixed. I have no doubt that those issues will be rectified as well without issue. Can't fault them and very glad I was able to find them!

The store is located on the same property as Walgreens at Lincoln & Washington. There's free, off street parking. Not a lot, but enough. The store it self is no frills, but fine. The work areas are clearly visible. Which I really like. What really stands out here is how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is. I paid $14.95 for a watch battery replacement.

My father's watch has not seen an easy life and with him passing away I wanted to keep a part of him with me through one of the watches he passed down to me. Michael was very understanding when I had to reschedule my appointment to have my watch looked over. Michael gave me a reasonable quote for the repair and an estimated turn around time of 3 weeks. I entrusted Marina Bay with my watch and waited patiently as good craftsmanship can't be rushed. When my watch was ready for pick up, I rushed in excitement to see the finished result. Michael had honored my request to not have the watch polished and went over the repairs with me. In addition, he was able to take a great picture of the watch disassembled. I have been refurbishing my father's 1971 Seiko 6105-8110 over the last few months. The lume on the original dial was in pretty bad shape and I changed it out for a replica which I didn't like at all. When I came across the other reviews about Michael, I knew it would be in safe hands and asked him to put back the original dial and re lume it. He also replaced the hardlex glass as it was pretty scratched up. I am very happy with the final result and I know my father would be too if he was still with us. Thank you Michael!

Brought my Rolex Hulk 116610LV to get it’s 4 year service. Replaced main spring and full service. He made sure he called me first before performing any work after opening it and ordering any parts and finalizing the service. They replaced the main spring, tube gasket, crown gasket and crystal gasket. This is all critical when servicing a modern Rolex. A must visit and he’s open by appointment right now due to Covid.

My first experience with Marina Bay Watch Company was several years ago while living in Santa Monica, CA. I had gone on a trip to Costa Rica and my Maurice Lacroix Phase De Lune Chronograph had moisture damage and wasn’t working. Not only did Michael give me a transparent and accurate brief on what had happened to the watch, but also the cost, time to repair and more…instead of a transactional approach, he took the time to educate me on the pros and cons, and allow me to make the decision. I truly found that refreshing and earned my trust with his genuine approach. This was my first watch I ever bought and had sentimental value to me, once I explained that we proceeded to get it fixed. The team at Marina Bay Watch Company did an incredible repair on it, popping individual air bubbles on the dial, restoring the movement, and resealing and polish. Since then I’ve used them for all my watch needs as my collection and passion has grown for time pieces. They also have helped me customize relume and dial repairs, more recently helped me with a recently bought GMT-Master II that wasn’t working properly. They also restored a very sentimental watch for a close loved one of mine. Regardless of expense, age, or type of watch you can always have peace of mind your watch is in expert hands and the trust and respect you will have for Marina Bay Watch Company is everything. That’s why I still drive from Beverly Hills now past many competitors to come to them, because I don’t trust anyone else with my watches. They’re simply the best and treat you like family.

These guys are absolutely phenomenal. I brought in 4 watches and a pocket watch. One was my late grandfather's, I couldn't remember the last time I saw it ticking other than on his wrist. Mike told me they would take a look but couldn't guarantee anything as rust had started to creep into the watch face. Came back an hour later to see my grandfather's watch running smooth as ever, as well as the other 3 watches I had brought in, fresh with new batteries. They even removed some scratches from the watch face of another, free of charge! Cannot recommend Marina Bay Watch Company enough.

My experience at Marina Bay Watch Company has left me with nothing but good things to say. I don't typically write reviews, but this experience has made me want to tell anyone who will listen about how great MBWC is. I brought my Baume & Mercier and Ebel watches here, after they were gifted to me. The previous owners had put off getting the batteries changed for years because they thought it would cost $1k. The team at MBWC changed both batteries for $98! Michael took the time to change a gold screw in the Ebel that had been corroded because it had been so long since the battery was changed. They also taught me that that's why it's important to get batteries changed or they leak out into the watch over years. Maria, Michael, and Mike are so friendly and knowledgeable. They made me feel like a VIP, are very upfront about pricing, timing, and answered any questions I had. Their customer service is the highest quality. It's an atmosphere that makes you wish you could come in more than every few years when watch batteries need to be switched out. If you're looking for 5-star customer service, the most competitive prices in the city, and a job well done, look no further!

Wonderful watch repair shop. Last year I took my watch to get a new battery and they said they had to change seals to keep waterproof feature. Good thing I paid for this extra service as about one month later I forget to take the watch out of my pocket when I put it in the wash. Came out fine although I wouldn't recommend trying it.

I have been years in the watch trade buying, selling and collecting. I had a simple issue with a Omega where the stem had separated from the crown so being new to the area I decided to give Marina Bay Watch Company a try for the repair. Given the struggles of Covid I wasn't sure what to expect but was warmly greeted by the owner Michael and his staff. My first impression talking with him is he really cares about his profession, very open and warm, and takes the service provided very seriously. I wasn't wrong as two days later he had completed the repair in record time despite my insistence that it was no rush. This vintage piece hasn't worked or looked this good since I had purchased it in Europe years ago. I even told Michael knowing that the stem needed to be replaced and knowing it might be difficult to find another, "just make it look great," and he and his staff delivered. I have honestly been dissatisfied with most watch retailers / service providers mainly due to poor service and the snobbery of being talked down to or their lack of knowledge regarding a piece they are trying to sell me. I did not go through FHH certification for nothing. I was asked recently why I don't have a relationship with any watch dealers and that is the main reason. It is not because I am difficult or don't want to but lets face it most places are just looking for the sale and or commission and don't really care if you come back or not, that is sad but an unfortunate reality in this business. Relationships are key. Honestly I don't look the part of someone that fancies horology, so there is that, but more so a musician fresh off the stage. Michael, it was a pleasure meeting you and doing business with you. I hope once this world returns to normal we can talk shop a bit and I can explore pieces in your shop and talk about my hunt for sought after pieces out there. Thank you again!

They perfectly explained my options and pricing in terms of battery replacement and water sealing. I only opted for the battery but really like that every option was layed out. At this point they only take appointments. They met me at 2:45 PM today, were on time and resized my watchbands in 15 minutes. They readjusted one of my watchbands on the spot when I felt it was too tight. They are very organized, efficient and genuinely care about their customers. I brought my Grandfathers old Piaget in to be fixed and not only did he totally do the job, but he took the time to show be how I should handle and care for it. He really cares about the work he does. Along with all the guys in there. Really you can't go wrong with any of them. I even had a necklace once with a faulty magnet clasp. I brought it in for him to fix it, and instead he replaced it with a way easier clasp. I have brought everything from a Rolex to my wedding rings to be fixed, shined, and re-dipped. I brought my ~25 year old watch in to this store to see if they could get it running again -- it had been stopped for over 10 years. It's not a fantastic watch -- just an old Timex that I happen to really like. But they still treated it (and me!) respectfully, and after a couple of tries, the watch started ticking consistently again. It's really impressive to get this quality of service these days, especially considering that most of their clientele would be people who are buying watches worth hundreds of dollars.

A couple of days ago I brought in my watch whose band got ripped of. It was fixed while I was waiting. When I wanted to pay for the service, I was told: ' No charge, I was happy to help!'
