We highly recommend MJ Christensen and particularly working with Susie. We had such a good experience! Susie was incredibly patient, kind and informative during the whole process. Our initial visit she took her time and went over every detail of buying a diamond and what to look for. It took me several months to decide what I wanted and Susie never rushed me. Ended up going here as a backup plan after another permanent jewelry place had no selection. The store is gorgeous and they have some amazing, unique looking jewelry pieces. True candy store of bling, but for permanent jewelry, they were great and accommodated us last second. They didn't have what we wanted in the right length, so they ordered it and got it within 24 hours so that we could still get it done during our vacation. Application was perfect. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Great place.

We went into MJ Christensen Diamonds with a piece of jewelry that was passed down to me by my Grandmother. When we met with Leah, to design a new setting for the pendant, she took the time to listen to what I wanted. I never felt pressured to upgrade or buy something that I didn’t love. MJ Christensen has been our go-to Jeweler, and even after moving out of state, we like to visit when we return, especially when it comes to the care of our engagement/wedding ring, which Rusty helped us custom design. They always treat you kindly and with respect, and are a family run business, where they care about you as an individual. This past trip, I needed an adjustment to my rings, and though their backlog is long, they worked hard to help us so that we could get it before we returned home, which we greatly appreciated. We were delighted to know that Peter would work on my rings (he originally did a lot of the detail work on the ring). When my ring was completed, I realized that I was going to be just a tad late to get to the store, and they were happy to wait for me and run out to meet me. Unfortunately, I totally put the wrong (old) location into my GPS. I was crestfallen, and called apologizing, but Christian went over and beyond and said that she could stay in the area and run some errands so that she could help me get my ring in time. MJ Christensen has always gone over and beyond for me, but I was so touched that they care so much about their customers they would wait nearly a full hour after closing for me. I should also note, that my engagement ring is so beautiful, the handiwork was amazing the first time around, and the adjustment was done really well. I get so many compliments on the custom work, and Rusty really brought my vision to life so many years ago.

Immediately after my wife and I got married, we headed right over to MJ Christensen after reading already amazing reviews online. As jewelry shopping, especially wedding bands, is not something neither my wife or I are familiar nor comfortable with, we came into the store with a bit of apprehension. However, as soon as we walked through the door and was greated by Maya, we felt a bit more at ease. Once the browsing and selection process started, we knew we were working with not only knowledge individuals but also extremely patient as we weren't 100% certain on what we wanted. We looked at just about everything in the showroom and once we had a better idea, we were presented with a slew of options that fit our mental image of what we wanted. After we figured that out, they worked with us to find the best possible price while also meeting our needs. When it was all said and done, we had a custom wedding band on order and just less than the time they said it would take, we got a very polite and personal phone call saying that our "beautiful ring" was ready for us. I could not be happier with their personal service and professionalism.

Disappointed, took an expensive watch, which I got from them, in for repair. Estimate to rehab the watch.... $1,300.00 for a 600$ watch. Doesn't make sense . Update: Took my wedding ring in for resizing and securing to diamond setting. Just picked up ring, fits like a charm, looks like new. It's only 43 years old! Service was a little disappointing. You know those moments where you immediately feel judged. I went in for an appraisal and immediately got the up and down from one of the associates. The interaction was not warm or welcoming. The appraiser Tom was kind and let me know that my stone was not a diamond and suggested I not spend the cost for the appraisal as it might not be worth it which I really appreciated. I inherited this ring so I had no idea what the gemstone was. I wanted to look around after for wedding bands but didn’t feel comfortable with the original welcome I received from the associate up front. I think some encouraging conversations with the woman greeting guests as they come in would really benefit. Even a smile would have went a lot further with me, but I received what was perceived as disingenuous questioning as if I had no business being there in the first place. My real life pretty woman moment. Beyond disappointing and insulting. Reading all the positive reviews leaves me surprised with the service I received. I would have left 1 star, but I appreciated the service I received from Tom.

So today I went into MJ Christensen Diamonds with my husband on a mission to upgrade my wedding ring & perhaps add the band. We were greeted by Suzi upon entering the store. I appreciate Suzi was not pushy in the least it! If she had been, my husband would have turned around and walked out. Not good for me! She was friendly and knowledgeable and her excitement about our big milestone (25 year anniversary) seemed definitely genuine!!! My husband was especially happy with the fact that they do and always have handled all of their “stuff” in house & at no additional cost to us for our lifetime. This includes cleaning, maintenance, sizing & even small stone replacement in the case of loss. We chose MJ Christensen 5 years ago and chose them again today. I can only trust that all of us will be around for the next upgrade event!!!

MJ Christiansen is by far the best! The service we we’ve had has always been wonderful. During our most recent visit we upgraded my wedding ring . Lilian greeted us and away we went. Lillian was so patient showing me rings and then we talked about a custom ring. She explained the different cuts of stones, clarity and colors. I took a ring to be repaired on Christmas Eve. Everyone was very nice to me and let me know that it would be 3 to 4 weeks before the repair would be done. Because I live 250 miles away from Vegas they let me know the ring would be overnighted to me upon completion. However the ring was sent two day delivery and I was not notified of that until the day that it was supposed to be delivered and my husband had taken a day off work to be there when it was delivered as it needed to be signed for. The repair was done well and I’m very happy with the rain . I just wish we had been told that it would not be delivered until the following day instead of being told that on the day originally scheduled for delivery.

I went in to have some links removed on a new Bremont watch. I had gone to another jewellery store but they were unable to get the screws in the links removed. Went in end took about 20 minutes with some adjustments. They made sure I was happy and if I needed to come back the would adjust free of charge. Very reasonable charge. They don’t charge an arm and a leg for this service and they also offer warranty for the battery. Service is always fast and easy. This is my go to store whenever I need new batteries for my watch. I have an avalanche of great things to say about this place. My experience here was excellent and, I hope, will typify the marriage I'd been engagement ring shopping for. Just as my beautiful fiancé has ruined me for other women, these jewelers have made it so I don't want to shop anywhere else; here's why. I spent hours sifting through jewelers at these places around the Las Vegas strip and I came to a conclusion, they were all trying to price gouge me. I stumbled onto the MJ Christensen website which stood out from the others I had shopped. It stood out from the rest because it displayed loose diamonds for sale complete with the various cut, color, clarity, size, and price. The site gave me all the info I needed to make an informed purchase. They didn't play games by telling me to call, email, or come in to find the mystery price of items for sale; furthermore, when I called the store, they were willing to give me some great buying advice after asking me a few questions about my buying preferences. I didn't waste time being taxied to the jewelers and I found that, Leah had remembered our phone conversation and was enthusiastic about showing me items that had the attributes I had been looking for. I had a small budget, and was very discriminating and had disqualified the items she had shown me when Martina, another of the store's team members joined the effort to help locate engagement rings that I might be interested in. The 2 were very helpful and patient with me through the whole process. They found me a great ring that allowed me to stay so far under budget that I was able to enlist there help to find a really nice wedding band, too. If that wasn't enough, Leah exerted some additional resourcefulness to help make sure that I was able to make the purchase without violating my budget, but wait, there's more. My card was declined because I had to contact my bank to raise the day's withdraw limit on my debit card and a 3rd team member, a kind and very warm Asian lady, stepped in to help me complete the process. All the while we 3 were swapping engagement stories, cool facts, laughing, and having fun while the paperwork, inclusive of free insurance, was being finalized. Martina even gave me instructions on how to access the only jeweler in my area of Pennsylvania that was prestigious and splendid enough to belong to their jewelers association. The ladies had educated me about the best practices of handling jewelry cleaner at the airport on my flight home. The hospitality, teamwork, relentless assistance, fun, ethical pricing, and beautiful wares, all have won me over. The jewelry it self is very nice. However ive encountered poor customer service. The sales reps very nice.. However when trying to get our rings resized (one of which was purchased with them) we were told that it would take 2-3 weeks to resize. We didnt have an ussue with that... Our issue came when 3 weeks passed by and we never recieved a notification that our jewelry resizing was complete. We had to call to find out... But thats not all... When we got there we tried on the jewelry to see how they (the rings) fit... we then discovered.. That the rings werent touched at all... No work or resizing performed on them. So the clerk stated they would make it right and would have the rings done the next day... Again we recieved no notification about the rings... The next day (today) we had called again... To find out the rings were done.... We have not gone to pick them up yet... But i do expect them to finally be complete. 2 stars only because of the sales clerks being very nice and helpful. Would be zero stars if it were different. UPDATE: Sonya (who I believe is the owner) reached out to me after hearing of this happening and was very apologetic about this. She made it right and was very sincere about the whole deal that went on. I'll be honest.. Ive never had anyone contact me over a review and cared so deeply about their customers. So this definitely caught me off guard. This to me is deserving of a 5 star. Everyone is human and messes up sometime. Sonya , Thank you!
