I was referred to Pineforest Jewelry by my jewelry warranty company for some repairs on a few of the rings I purchased when living in a different state. I also had two rings that were my Grandmothers I wanted to create a new ring with. From the moment I stepped into Pineforest, I felt at home. Everyone there has such a welcoming and warming presence about them. Danielle was amazing in guiding me and helping decide what setting to go with for my Grandmothers rings. The ring they put together is amazing, beautiful and everything I could have hoped for! Everything was so easy with Pineforest. They worked very well with my warranty company, and are creating a whole new ring for my husband since his ring was damaged beyond repair. Gary, has sent me updates on the progress he has made and it looks stunning so far. And of course, Diamond Jim he knows everything there is to know about jewelry and diamonds. I would highly recommend Pineforest Jewelry to anyone in need of a jewelry store. They aren’t just a normal jewelry store, they are one of a kind jewelry store that makes you feel like family rather than just a customer.

Diamond Jim and Jim Cihak at Pineforest Jewelry are terrific to work with! I had a specific request that is growingly proving more challenging to fulfill. Not only were they able to fulfill this challenging request, the price was EXCELLENT... not to mention the fantastic communication via email, text and calls regarding the timeline to deliver. The request took maybe a month, but their professional communication and top-shelf customer service didn't make it seem that long at all. Again, my request was rare and so I knew going in it would take some additional time to fulfill. This was my first time having jewelry worked on at Pineforest. All diamonds are special but to me, my diamond engagement ring is beyond special. Because of COVID I never got married so I’ve been holding on to my ring in the wrong size for 3 years. I finally gave in and let the folks at Pineforest handle the job. Trusting anyone to size-down a ring with diamonds nearly all the way around isn’t the easiest thing to do. This is how you lose diamonds, by compromising the integrity of the setting. They sized it down perfectly and they were so sweet and gentle when it came to understanding how I felt about my ring. They assured me all would turn out well and it sure did. To start off I want to personally thank every member of Pineforest Jewelery and for Diamond Jim's top notch assistance with helping us to make our custom one of a kind ring with matching wedding band!! A little back story, we were waiting for a specific place to open after remodeling but they never reopened at the designated time. We had pictures of the engagement ring we were interested in and my Mother suggested that we visit Diamond Jim and see what he can do for us! Went in because the clasp on my necklace was damaged and also took a couple watches that needed battery replacement. They were extremely kind and provided me with a quote prior to doing any work. Stopped in to this shop randomly just to have a look. While aimlessly window shopping I was approached by one of the men who works there (I believe his name was David) and he asked me if I wanted to see any of the necklaces in the jewelry case. I was just looking but his enthusiasm and knowledge of his trade drew me in, I spent way more time than expected asking questions and learning about jewelry. TLDR: When no jeweler in Houston would fix a family heirloom necklace pendant, Gary at Pineforest could! HIGHLY recommended! My seagull necklace pendant was given to me by my father 11 years ago, and I wear it every day on a long gold chain. When I lived in Connecticut, only one jeweler dared to fix it (out of the whole state). It is made entirely of pewter, which is a soft metal, so it easily bends and breaks. The bird has been fixed several times, and you can see in the before picture how badly it was repaired. The solder job was done so poorly. After moving to Houston, the bad wing fell completely off again. I called almost every jeweler in the greater Houston area, and no one was willing to fix it because it's pewter and it has been repaired so many times before. This went on for days, and I kept reaching out further and further (I live near Seabrook). When I came across Pineforest and gave them a call, they were the only place that gave me a "yes, we fix pewter" and asked if I would bring it in to confirm that it was fixable. Although Gary gave no promises that the fix would work, I trusted in his 30+ years of experience and let him work his magic. I was expecting to leave it for a week like my previous jeweler in CT, but nope - he fixed it right there on the spot. About 15 minutes later, he brought my bird out. I cannot believe the quality of the repair! It's looking better than it did when I first got it 11 years ago. You can't even see the previous clunky solder repairs from the past. And the repair is strong! No bending in the wing anymore. He also repaired my gold rope chain that was hanging on by a thread, literally. All of this work for about $45 and 15 minutes. Unreal! All of the staff at Pineforest is so kind and knowledgeable. I'm so appreciative and lucky to have found this jeweler. They even came up with several ideas for the future to keep this bird from breaking again. This quality repair means the world to me - I cried in the car, this is one of the few things I have left from my father. My busted-up bird is looking more beautiful than ever! Thank you so much! I highly recommend Pineforest Jewelry, and I know I will be going back for sure.

I’ve been coming here for many years from graduation rings to resizing wedding rings and everything in between. My mother came in to get her glasses repaired, they were the only place she could find that had the expertise to do such a job. The arm of her glasses had come off completely, and they managed to make it almost like new! Gary did the work and he did an excellent job. Having to leave my items I received a receipt on the receipt I like the very detailed pictures taken of my items for repair so there is no mix-up. I will not only be returning here to pick up my items but I plan on bringing something else in with confidence of leaving it in good hands for repair. This is one business that know how to treat customers. My wife and I , went to take one of her rings for resizing and the job was done perfect. They also clean the ring that was seized and 3 other rings my wife had with her at the time of pickimg up the ring that was sized. The cleaning of all rings, sure made them shine like they were new!! It took a few minutes, and I got $25 gift card. Second time - needed to enlarge man ring with diamond, square shaped. I have only 2 days to fix my ring, and Gary, goldsmith, assure me it will be done in a day. He explained to me to keep the square shape, ring must be cut in 3 places. I received a phone call next day, my ring was ready. I rushed to the store and it was another pleasant surprise - I don't have to pay an extra $100 because he managed to do it in one cut. I inspect my ring very thoroughly, shape was perfect. Thanks to the hostess of the place, she made all my visits highly enjoyable. I just dropped by on a Friday morning on my way out of town to see if I could have my ring welded. They did a beautiful job on the ring and I only had to wait a few minutes. Of course, I had to pay just a little higher price to get the work done while I waited, but it was so worth it. We went to Pineforest because we had a concern about work we had done to our engagement ring. We wanted someone to verify what was done, as we felt we had been cheated. We found Pineforest via google search of good reviews. We were very concerned that our diamond may have been switched after repairs were done due to a number of circumstances with the repairs. We called Pineforest with our concern and they immediately welcomed us to come to the store and would have a look at our situation. The customer service was absolutely fantastic, and the knowledge of the main Gemologist (Diamond Jim) was amazing. He took the time to listen to our situation and concerns and at no cost spent literally 2 hours with us going over every detail of our ring and helped to resolve all our issues by answering the many questions we had. I have never seen a store take this kind of time and effort with a customer. Everyone in the store was very honest and up front. They were clear that they wanted to earn our trust and have us as future customers, and that is why they give such great service. The service and level of Diamond expertise here is probably the best you can get anywhere. These people know what they are doing and are truly EXPERTS. The location seems a bit dicey, but that is because they have been there for 30 years and back in the day is was a high end area. And as we all know, the city landscape can change over many years. They are looking to move locations soon to grow their store. Don't let the current location scare you off. This place is fantastic and I would recommend to anyone to go there !! This company really helped us in a time of need and we will come back to them for any future needs !! What a great experience.

I wanted to surprise my wife with a mother's ring as a present. I let her design it so it would be exactly as she envisioned. The ordering process was seamless. We received a call that the ring was ready. She put it on and we left. In the car I asked if it was as pretty as she had hoped. She mentioned that the shades of the stones were not what she expected. I took her back to discuss this with them. She began crying because she didn't want to seem unappreciative. They began consoling her and insuring her that if she didn't feel the ring was perfect then it needed to be fixed. They had her show them in the case the exact color of each stone she was expecting. She left crying because Diamond Jim was so caring and sympathetic. I took my '87 graduation ring in February I believe and Mr Gary sized it up on the spot and last week I took my wedding ring which I dropped by accident in a park's parking lot and the ring had bad "encounters" with cars running over it . I was able to find it a couple of days after I had dropped it (lucky me) and it was bent and had scrapes and scratches but after Mr Gary worked on it is now looking awesome. He also smoothed it out and of course polished it and I honestly believe it looks better than when originally was bought. My mom told me I should check Pineforest, so when I was on that side of town, I stopped in. I told them that my diamond was loose, and they told me they could fix it without replacing it. Several months ago, my fiancé and I started working with a diamond broker in California who has an emerald cut stone we were interesting in seeing. However, we did not wish to buy the stone sight unseen. The California broker would send the stone to only one place for us to view--Pineforest Jewelers. The California broker felt that Diamond Jim was knowledgeable enough to explain the stone and its rating to us and show us why it was rated as it was. Prior to arriving, Diamond Jim and thoroughly inspected the stone to make sure that its quality did match its rating, especially since we were shopping for a very high end emerald cut stone. Diamond Jim showed us with his loop all the different aspects of the stone and assured us that the stone was exceptional value for the high quality. Diamond Jim did this, even though he is also a diamond broker. He could easily have dissuaded us from purchasing the stone from the California broker, but he did not. I believe this a strong testament to his integrity and the integrity of his business. When we purchased the emerald stone from the California broker, I hesitated not in seeking Diamond Jim's help is identifying a setting that met my tastes and would be the right compliment for the emerald cut diamond. Diamond Jim had Rhonda assist me. She spent hours with me. In the end, she helped me find the perfect setting. Even though it was not designed for an emerald center cut, Rhonda worked with Pineforest's master jeweler to alter the setting to accommodate my diamond. His work was exceptional. He built the setting to hold the emerald magnificently, ensuring that the emerald had maximum scintillation. He also took an antique diamond eternity band and turned it into two rings to sit on each side of my engagement ring. My uncle was a jeweler before he passed on and he would have regarded this man's work as excellent. I cannot recommend this store enough. If people are looking for a designer name, then they will not be happy without shopping at De Beers or Tiffany's. However, the quality of the rings that I have far outstrip anything on display at those stored. Thank you Diamond Jim and Rhonda and staff. I am so happy with the ring you helped me create!

My grandpa and grandma used Pineforest Jewelry in the past and I've always remembered it from my childhood. I've done a little business with them over the years as well so I decided to stop in yesterday to shop for a gold nugget ring. I was infomed they do not stock of them any longer as demand for such rings had deminished over the years, however from that point on I was totally surprised at what Pineforest Jewelry can and will do to make exactly the kind of gold nugget ring I desire. I was in the market for a customized wedding ring for my wife and was referred to Pineforest Jewelry (Diamond Jim). We had to go through CAD drawings (for her ring and mine), so it was a very elaborate process. I am a VERY picky person and not once did it seem like they were frustrated, upset, etc...The rings came out Perfect ! After reading the few 1 star negative reviews, I can honestly say they are a load of crap. I am HISPANIC with visible tattoos, not once did that play a part with my appearance towards them. I searched HIGH and low for places to purchase my rings and have been to ALOT of mall shops, big chain stores, etc.. This place is now my "home" for jewelry, I WILL NOT go anywhere else. The knowledge Diamond Jim and his Wife have is incredible, along with his staff (Rhonda helped me also). If you want to have a "jeweler" this is the place to go. You do not experience the "mall atmosphere" of "the price is this, but for you I can let it go for...." There are much more positive things I could say but I will keep it short, Highly Recommended !
