I did so much online research and even considered a lab diamond, but I really wanted to have an in person experience. I visited other stores and didn’t feel as welcomed as I did at D.D. I made an appointment online, Matt replied within minutes and followed up via text. They rolled out the red carpet for me as well as everyone who was there and really made an experience, I was finding a bit stressful with other vendors, a real joy! I told Matt my budget along with my wish list and he quickly brought out some options which made buying decision easy! They have made a lifetime customer!!

Natalie and the team delivered a great buying experience and a value that made a lasting impression on me. I'm a natural introvert. I was offered drink and snacks. Joseph was the person who helped me. He was very patient , easy to talk to, and friendly. Alex truly went above and beyond bringing in multiple emerald cut diamonds for me to choose from. She helped me pick the perfect setting and ultimately the perfect diamond. My experience at Diamonds Direct Houston was nothing but outstanding. I came across their website and wanted to have my diamond from a previous engagement ring set in a new Tacori setting. Originally, my diamond expert was Cynthia Cullen, but I showed up and found Susan Smyers. I am glad that I met Susan, she was absolutely wonderful and very patient with me. My sister first setup an appointment with Natalie so that I could try on different rings and see what I like. We were absolutely blown away by her. She truly gave me the full experience. I was pretty nervous walking into a jewelry store, being that I know absolutely nothing about jewelry. A diamond expert by the name of Raven must’ve noticed that I was completely in over my head but she was so kind and helpful and I didn’t get the feeling I was being pressured at all. What really set this experience apart was when I was presented with an option to modify my existing ring, and I of course gave them the completely unreasonable time constraint of same day. Not only did they make that happen, but they helped me out with a presentation box and bag. I was dreading this whole thing but after my experience today I just wish I had more money to buy more things from the wonderful people at diamonds direct!

I'm not the type to provide reviews. In fact, I can't recall writing one in the past. However, on the back of my visit last night to the Houston store, I woke this morning and decided to put pen to paper. I felt compelled to write for several reasons: (1) to recognize the outstanding talent at the Houston location, (2) to publicly thank the team for their support, and (3) to communicate to others who might be in the same position as me (i.e., temporarily financially constrained) that solutions are available for you. My shopping experience has been extensive. I perused online retailers and visited most of the brick-and-mortar stores (e.g., Graff, Harry Winston, De Beers, Tiffany, etc.) in Houston and in a handful of European cities. If I reflect back on my experience, I felt overwhelmed by the variety, scared to take the leap with an online site, and most of the time I felt discouraged following a visit to one of the high-end retailers. I learned about Diamonds Direct in May of this year following a wedding I attended. Upon returning to Houston, I visited the store at the earliest opportunity. When I arrived at Diamonds Direct, I was met by Cynthia and Kevin. The feeling was different. Cynthia took me into an office and served more as a thought partner than a salesperson. She listened patiently and noted my requirements and challenges, then she went into solution mode. I looked at so many diamonds that my head was spinning. Then she found one that exceeded my expectations, and it was selling at a deep discount, seemingly because it had been in inventory so long. The diamond was not at the top of my price range but the value for money was so great that Cynthia and Kevin strongly encouraged me to buy. Their enthusiasm and excitement over the diamond was contagious and brought me to the point that no other retailer was able to in the past—I committed immediately to buy the diamond. Given my financial situation, I couldn’t get the ring immediately. My credit is poor following a lengthy divorce, so financing wasn’t an option. I made bi-weekly payments and finally finished paying for the ring after several months. I haven’t had the ideal time to propose yet, so the ring has been hidden in my closet. When I made my last payment to Cynthia, I told her I’d be back exactly 1 year later to upgrade. I’m satisfied with the ring, but I dreamed of buying a bigger diamond in the future when my finances improved. When I saw Diamonds Direct had a Black Friday sale, I casually reached out to Cynthia to maintain contact. Unbeknownst to me, she went into action, scouring the extensive Diamonds Direct network to find a larger, higher quality diamond than the one I originally purchased. She sent me a text with the specifications of a diamond along with an incredible deal Kevin was willing to give me. Without even seeing the diamond, I blindly trusted Cynthia and Kevin and asked them to secure the diamond for me. It arrived in Houston the following day and when I went to see it, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It’s simply incredible. I don’t know how this all worked out. I never would have dreamed, given my current financial challenges, that I’d be able to afford such a diamond. This team has made one of the most stressful purchases of my life into something so effortless and rewarding. I entered this journey embarrassed of my purchasing power but Diamonds Direct created a solution for me that I can feel proud about. They’ve gained my trust and business for life. In addition to the diamond purchase, I’ve since purchased the setting, the wedding band, and asked for their help to repurpose my fiancés old engagement ring into a diamond pendant. And one last thing, I feel like I’ve given recognition to Cynthia and Kevin; however, credit is also due to Tamir—their leader. Undoubtedly the service provided by Cynthia and Kevin is a product of Tamir’s recruitment, training, and the environment he creates that empowers them, giving them space to think out of the box and provide solutions for people like me. Words can describe how amazing Diamonds Direct is, however, words cannot describe how amazing their best employee Cynthia Cullen has been! It all started February 5th last year when my wife noticed the Diamonds Direct store on the way to the Galleria. We signed in and shortly after was greeted by Cynthia. I don’t recall the time but I do recall apologizing for it being so close to closing time and Cynthia immediately told us staying late is nothing new and it happens all the time. It was great not feeling rushed and so welcomed at the same time. To make it better Cynthia offered us drinks as she showed us their HUGE selection. It wasn’t long before my wife found the eternity band she loved and the search was over! While there Cynthia became instant family. She was kind, funny and so knowledgeable with all they had to offer. She learned that my wife’s birthday was Feb 9th and our anniversary March 1st on that day. Cynthia remembered and texted us happy birthday and happy anniversary which was so thoughtful! Since then I haven’t purchased jewelry anywhere else. Saying Cynthia and staff as a whole are so great is an understatement. They’re all so nice and go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. It is never pushy or forceful selling tactics because with their prices, there’s no need to be. She has become a great friend and we love her very much! Cynthia is the best with surprises as well. Today she helped me pretend we were showing up for an appraisal on the earrings I bought my wife yesterday when it was actually a resized ring my wife picked out and had no clue she was getting. She even recorded my wife opening the satin pouch and sent me a video of the surprise. If that’s not going above and beyond I don’t know what is! This is my first & probably my last review that I will ever do, but my experience at Diamonds Direct Houston is worth sharing for all those ladies and gents looking for an engagement ring. I went to a local jeweler and fell in love with a 2 carat cushion cut halo engagement ring with a price tag just over 75K. The boyfriend is not planning to mortgage the house for an engagement so we went with Plan B. Build my own. After researching that wholesale dealers was the way to go, contacted multiple wholesalers for the best deal. I read google reviews for Diamond Direct and noticed the name Natalie kept coming up with fantastic reviews so I emailed DD and asked for Natalie to call me. From the minute we spoke, I knew I was going to do business with her. Natalie's attention to diamond specs, her detailed questions on preferences of the 3C's, and her passion for customer satisfaction showed through and through. I asked for a visit the next day, but she let me know there was a show the following weekend with a 20% discount on settings. Already saving me money, before we met! Love it. I sent her the pic of the ring I wanted and immediately after our conversation, she was on the hunt for the perfect diamond. In the days leading up to our visit, Natalie text me multiple options. At our appointment, she pulled out numerous diamonds and settings that were identical to the ring I fell in love with. Well, 2.5 hours into our visit we finally landed on the beauty of a lifetime. All in, the total price was 1/3 of the $75K price tag (SHUT THE FRONT DOOR). All I can say is stop looking, go to Diamonds Direct and ask for Natalie, it's a game changer!

I can admit I am a more skeptical and indecisive that most people, so when shopping for my now fiance's engagement ring I spent months shopping and comparing at several online and physical stores. It was our first time going to Diamond Direct to look for diamond rings. We heard from the radio and thought we should check it out. Upon entering the store we were offered different choices of beverages. My sister had mimosa and I just had bottle of water. Everyone was so friendly. The place was so clean and organized and we were almost blinded by glittering of diamonds everywhere in the glass case. They have security everywhere which makes us feel safe. Alex was very sweet, friendly , knowledgeable and very patient she help my sister pick out a beautiful yellow diamond ring 💍. I pick a smaller gorgeous ring since I can’t resist! We even met the owner of the store ! He came to talk to us and let us look into their gadget to check on the diamond. He had educate us on Diamond and It was a learning experience for us. If you're feeling at all stressed about buying an engagement ring this is the place for you. Ask for Alex, she'll take great care of you like she did me! After looking at 3 places and feeling exhausted I came here and they made the experience so stress free. They helped me find the perfect ring for my fiancee and explained everything clearly. We went to Diamond's Direct to pick out our wedding bands. TL;DR: We worked with Cynthia and it was an amazing experience! Though we weren't shopping for a more high-priced item like an engagement ring, we received top-notch treatment and attention. They offered beverages, including champagne. We tried on at least 20 rings, and Cynthia was incredibly patient and pulled out several for us to try on in addition to the ones we asked to see. After we narrowed it down, she consulted with the general manager and the VP about getting a rush order in - they checked with and confirmed in a matter of minutes that they would be able to get it done. Both the GM and the VP were incredibly helpful. We had an appointment to go to, so we left without making a purchase. We also wanted a bit more time to think. We returned later that day close to closing time. Cynthia was able to quickly pull our rings and help us check out. The VP, Tamir (sp?), stopped by and chatted with us about our upcoming wedding while the paperwork was getting finalized by Cynthia and the GM. As we were wrapping up, Cynthia also offered to clean my fiance's engagement ring (which we did not purchase from Diamond's Direct) and showed us the waiting room where you can wait while you get your items cleaned or repaired. Cynthia provided her cellphone number for any questions, and even thanked us for coming in after we left. She seemed genuinely interested in getting to know us and our story, and was also open about herself too.

In my family, creating memories is incredibly important . Thank you Alex My dad was enlisted in the USAF. On R&R from the war ( Vietnam ) he and my Mother met in Hawaii for a short time ( 7 days, I think ) . He gave her a very special ring . Some might refer to it as a cocktail ring. She has always cherished that ring and the time they had together . The diamonds are small and encircle three larger diamonds ( still small ). The ring is quaint, but it’s worth a million bucks to her ! Fast forward to Alex and Diamonds Direct Houston. My Mom has always dreamed of someday replacing the three diamonds in the middle with one stone. The response is usually the same...when we win the lottery. I told my Mom that I would have her ring repaired at the pawnshop ....it was cracked in the back. This is where Alex comes in. Unbeknownst to my Mom, I met with Alex, got an education about diamonds , reviewed a few that she selected for the ring, and found the perfect stone. Sooooooo...., Today I was taking my Mom to the “pawnshop “ and stopped by Diamonds Direct just to see what they had to offer . ( it was a rouse...the whole Staff and Management was in on it ! ). After educating my Mother about diamonds, I described the ring to Alex ( keep in mind that my Mom still thinks that her ring is at the pawnshop ). She said that she saw something similar to what I was describing earlier that day. She went to get the ring to show my Mom. Mom looked at the ring and thought it was Stunning! Alex encouraged her to try it on . It was on her finger and off in record time. I think she was afraid to like it too much because she really can’t afford it . As the ring lay on the display tray, Mom commented on how much that ring looks like hers....except for the large stone in the middle ( 3/4 carat ) ! Alex and I both encouraged her to try the ring on again. She did so, reluctantly . She started looking at the ring more closely and realized that it fit just like hers and It looks just like hers (except for the center store) Time stood still as she realized that she was looking at Her ring with a Brilliant new Diamond in the center! Thanks to Alex for her part in creating a memorable experience!!! Oh yeah...they fixed the crack in the back....of course!

I told them I was looking for an engagement ring, oval, twisted band, etc... and they showed me that exactly. Their selection was better than any other store I went to and they didn't try to upsell me. Tamir, another diamond expert helped find me the exact diamond I was looking for. It happened to be in Dallas. They had the diamond within 48 hours and it was what I wanted. The process itself took a few weeks because I made a custom band, which they helped me create. I got 3-D renderings, they worked with me on small changes, and within 6 weeks I had the gorgeous diamond I picked out on the band I envisioned and walked away extremely happy. Fast forward a few months and now my fiancé is just as happy and we will be buying our wedding bands from them as well. Overall, I highly recommend this store. While you are there, they have a wide array of beverages to choose from that are complimentary, such as beer,wine,champagne, coffee, espressos,hot chocolate, and many other items. My fiancé was at Helzburg and found a ring that was perfect for me, but he wasn't pleased with the price or the service. He then found Diamonds Direct and found pretty much the same ring for HALF the price!! A few months later we purchased our wedding bands. Recently we got our bands out to try them on and I wasn't fond of how my bands looked with my ring and his band was too small. So we went in and met with Tamir and Cynthia. They were INCREDIBLE! Her 20+ years in the business showed in how well she was able to sift through my interests and dislikes among the many styles they offered. We looked on Etsy and went to Helzburg Diamonds to look at other options, but Etsy couldn't give us the quality experience and styles that we fell in love with at Diamonds Direct and Helzburg was the same price, but not the same amount of options. Additionally, Diamonds Direct is incredibly great about deals and customization. You fall in love with 3 different styles? They'll find a way to mesh them perfectly in one ring. Disclaimer to my broke millennials: they are great for non traditional engagement rings, but they are pretty traditional in that price if you know what I mean. Not somewhere you can ball on a budget, but still worth a try to see something you can fall in love with. Great option!

I don’t write reviews but Alvaro did such a good job that I felt it was warranted to write this one. I went in just after they opened because I saw their shop on my drive to work and I realized I could get in and out without much traffic. I asked them to resize a family bracelet. I was nervous and not even sure I wanted it resized but frankly it was too big and at risk of getting pulled and yanked. I was afraid it would snap on something. Alvaro talked me though the process, explaining what he would do, thereby putting me at ease. His workshop is on the 2nd floor and there’s a large glass window where you can see in. I didn’t watch him work but having seen the shop, and how well kept it is, also calmed me down. His work was amazing. You couldn’t even tell he had made any changes. Believe me, I looked it up and down for evidence, lol! From the moment I entered until the moment I left I was treated graciously and kindly. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend their services.
