Overall, fantastic quality and customer service that gives me great confidence in recommending Becker’s for your jewelry needs. I brought in a loose diamond, the ring size, pictures of an engagement ring my girlfriend (now fiancé) wanted, and they took care of the rest. Before going to Becker’s, I went to several other jewelers and they expressed concerns with the custom design she wanted or gave me some renderings that did not accurately replicate what she wanted. The jewelers were concerned about the durability of the custom ring, so I was beginning to lose hope until I went to Becker’s. Throughout the process, I worked with Eli and I was skeptical that the custom ring she wanted could be replicated, but they delivered and my fiancé loves the ring. Eli reassured me the durability should not be a problem and that they can easily recreate the design. In the end, my fiancé LOVES the ring and is getting so many compliments on how great it looks. Given the exceptional quality, customer service, and pricing, I plan to go back for our wedding bands.

This is hands down the best place to purchase fine jewelry in the state of CT. If you need a new watch, ask for Eli. His customer service is the best in the business and you will never leave this store unhappy for any reason. Amazing selection with an even better staff. I had watch repair and some battery replacements. Though I was a new customer, I was treated like an old friend. They are a pleasure to deal with. Prices are very reasonable. Free parking is available in the bank lot next door because Becker's owns a part of it. This is important because parking on LaSalle Street is difficult to find and expensive. All in all, a very good experience on each of my visits.

We had a wonderful experience at Beckers! I made a visit with a friend a little over a month before shopping with my now fiancé. Margie was helpful and very informative as I explored different styles for well over an hour. When I returned several weeks later with my boyfriend in tow, Margie remembered me and the rings I liked and was extremely patient while we found a ring that we both really liked. My fiancé then worked with Margie over the course of a few visits to customize a ring that is absolutely perfect. Once he pulled that little red box out from the inside of his sock I knew my life would change forever from that moment. The ring is exquisite, timeless, a perfect version of vintage and modern. I went to Becker's to get one of my decorative diamond side stones replaced. Along with that I was inquiring about new trillions for my ring's side stones. I have a princess cut center stone and my side stones are trillion cut. (Triangular shaped diamonds) I love my ring, it's what I always wanted. However, I noticed my trillions had become dull and grey looking, no shine, no sparkle...No life to them what so ever. No matter how I often cleaned them, they were still... Well...grey, dull and lifeless. I spoke to Brian about purchasing new diamond trillions. So Brian, did his homework and when I went back to Becker's to pick up my ring, Brian handed me the Princess and I was floored... My ring looked brand spanken new again my TRILLIONS ARE BEAUTIFUL AGAIN!!! I asked Brian, what did you do, my ring looks BEAUTIFUL!! "Save yourself the money Denise, you don't need new trillions." "Your diamonds are nice, you had some type of film over the diamonds." Wow!! Couldn't believe how clean and beautiful Becker's has this ring glittering... unbelievable. So with all of this being said... Brian, I thank you for being so honest with me and saving me a small fortune. Becker's staff is also amazing with their knowledge of the jewelry they sell. I took my friend there to look at rings. Margie knows her stuff and she's so articulate and informative when she's talking to you about your future purchase or just inquiring. I also feel Becker's has the best prices, very friendly staff, they always greet you as you walk in and say by to you as your leaving, no matter what they're doing, they stop and say hello...All the time. FYI, I was told by a friendly staff member, Becker's customers could park in the Webster Bank parking lot at no charge. Happy shopping at Becker's.

My husband made the smart and wise choice of buying my engagement ring from Becker’s in West Hartford back in 2012. He had met with Margie there and worked with her to find some choices of rings before bringing me back to get my opinion. Margie was so personable and amazing in showing the pieces and I felt like I was talking to a friend, not a salesperson. Fast forward 7 years, I am still in love with my ring and the great workman-ship that went into it (it was custom made by their jeweler). I recently had to get my center stone adjusted as I had worn one of the prongs out and the stone became loose. The problem was that we no longer live in Connecticut anymore, and I didn’t feel comfortable having a different jewelry store fix my ring locally. So I called Margie, and she remembered exactly who I was ( yes after all these years ) and she requested for me to send the ring to them in the mail and that they would make sure to get it back to me in tip-top shape. They covered the mailing costs and were kind enough to be in contact with me from the moment my ring arrived to them to when they were getting ready to send it back. I just received the ring back today, which was overnighted to my house and it looks brand new and better than ever. Quick after it arrived I received a call from sweet Margie asking me if I had received the ring and she made sure I was pleased with the work. Needless to say, I am so grateful for how they handled the situation and for their professionalism. If you have any jewelry needs, do not hesitate to go see the lovely team over there at Becker’s in West Hartford. You really can’t go wrong, and you definitely wont regret it.

Great experience! New to the area, so didn't know where to go when my custom platinum wedding rings needed to be sized. Becker's was less than half the price for both rings than I was quoted at LB&G for one! And they did a phenomenal job! I was told 10 business days and they called me a week early saying my rings were done. Highly recommend!

Hi my name is Ken I'm getting married in 6 weeks. I had to find a jewelry store that would take care of my ring I was given on my fifth 50 slash proposal in Budapest. I called Beckers jewelry store and spoke to Elie Dahbour about my needs and concerns. He was really helpful and reassuring of my concerns. I so with the great conversation on the with Elie the next day I drove to the location in West hartford. I was greeted by this wonderful lady named Margie Sneideman she as well treated me like family and reassured me with my concerns and request. She also engaged in conversation of my wedding and made me feel so comfortable with this company and made me feel safe leaving my ring in good hands. Today I stopped at Beackers to pick up my ring and Margie was on and greeted as she did the first day like I was part of the Beckers family .Margie and Elie were amazing today as they were when I dropped off my ring. The ring was brought back to life once again like it looked the first day I received it 3 years ago. I was in shock cause in those 3 years I was doing yard work and other outdoor things that took a toll on this poor ring. But they made look like it had just been made.. We went back in March to look at rings and I fell in love with the first one I tired on! My fiancé and I wanted to work with the a jeweler that would be able to customize a ring using a sentimental European-cut diamond; a unique and rare diamond to be part of a custom setting to fit it. First, we went to many, many jewelers in the NYC area. We felt like these jewelers had their own agenda and we felt overwhelmed. Then we heard about Becker’s. I decided to take a trip up to Hartford at a time where they had a ring artist come in. From the moment I walked in, they spent time with me, really wanting to understand the vision we had for the perfect ring. We were kind of in over our heads in terms of everything diamond related and the Becker’s staff was so kind. They made all of the changes to the original one I saw (it technically ended up being a custom ring based on one we saw in the store) that made it just perfect. It looks amazing, and they did the things that other stores told me couldn’t be done or wouldn’t look right (it looks perfect!) After we got engaged, I went into the store and asked questions about how to take care of it because I want to make sure it is well cared for. Again, there was no judgements and they gave me great advice. AND they cleaned it for me. It was so sparkly and beautiful. I love going back to see them, catch up and get it cleaned. We also got our wedding bands from them and had them resized after they reopened from COVID. I’d recommend ANYONE see them to get started and ultimately buy from them. They are the best!

This is the only jewelry store I trust. We have been using them for years. Mike redesigned my engagement ring when the original setting (not bought at Beckers) started to "fail". It came out stunning. My husband bought my wedding band through the estate section. If he bought it new, it would have been thousands more and it looks like new! I recently went in to have my diamond reset. It was loose and I was worried about it. Amy couldn't have been nicer! I had 2 wedding bands that wrapped around my engagement ring with a total of 6 baguettes. Becker's has been my go - to jeweler for years now and I have always come away 100% delighted. The staff are helpful, professional, informed but never pushy. I recently had an experience that has confirmed Becker's as the absolute best local jeweler! I bought an expensive pair of mystic topaz earrings in the Caribbean. The back had a great clasp, jointed, that secured the heavy stone. However, my first wearing revealed one clasp as painfully tight. Gem Jewellers is near my house and I had an errand nearby so popped in with them. The jeweler gave them a cursory look then told me there was nothing to be done, they weren't adjustable. He said they were bad earrings for me as they didn't "fit". I said earrings fit everyone, but he said, Not these. He then offered to show me more suitable choices I could buy. I demurred and left. Then I went where I should have gone in the first place, Becker's. The man there said it was a simple adjustment which he quickly accomplished, no charge. I told him about my previous experience at Gem. He frowned and shook his head, then simply said he was glad I came to Becker's. He didn't bad mouth the competition, he was the consummate professional every step of the way. I asked his name, which I now regret not writing down, but think might be David. He has white hair, a pleasant countenance and is my earring hero! This story doesn't even address their amazing estate jewellery selection, which is highlighted at two yearly sales. I go with my sisters, maybe I'll see you there!

Amy has provided a list of nearby jewelery establishments part of their Jeweler Mutual where we can go for any future issues and where our Peace of Mind guarantee will be honored (2) I misplaced one of our rings appraisals and Amy provided another at no cost. (3) Finally, my wife's smaller diamonds on her band had become loosened from the engagement and wedding band rubbing against one another. Associates educated us on what was occurring and even offered to solder the two together at no cost to prevent future loosening/loss of diamonds.

The Better Becker’s Deal is no joke, they don’t mess around when it comes to fine jewelry and expert advice. There repairs are done in a timely matter and done by experts with care. I brought the ring back to the West Hartford store for said repairs. I was treated with respect and a professionalism that is rarely found in the retail world today. I went in the West Hartford store basically with the idea that I will just be looking around since my budget was so low for an engagement ring and had already been looking online and in many other stores. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, even after they learned my budget, and Amy went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me get exactly what I was looking for. The other staff were very excited and said that it was the sale of the day for sure- I'm not a crier, but the final ring was gorgeous, and I gave Amy a huge hug and thank you for not giving up on me and answering my hundred questions/pickiness/and firm budget. I left shaking, just overwhelmingly happy I found exactly what i was looking for, AND, could afford. No one got weird I was shopping for another woman, which is also usually something I get. Rude when they find out you're not spending big money I called them to ask if they would reset a diamond ring I have, with another diamond I already own. When they found out I just wanted a resetting (and not purchasing a new diamond from them), their tone changed and they told me I would have to "get in line" and wait 3 weeks, and that "if you were buying it here it would be a different story". Makes me think they're more interested in getting people's money than treating them like human beings -- I would be careful with them.

We walked in to look ending up spending hours drooling and learning so so much about gems & jewelry. It’s like a history lesson. The team atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We now are visitors almost every Friday. I love the workmanship and history on the Estate cases. We’ve made multiple purchases and feel each and every time we were ahead of our game!
