Engels Jewelry has the best customer service! I highly recommend this family-owned and operated jewelry business that has been helping the West Michigan community since 1945. I took in an inherited ring to be re-sized and they did a fantastic job, it looks great and fit perfectly! They also took the time to clean the ring and also professionally appraised some of the other jewelry I brought in for free! When people talk about 'the good old days' in relation to retailthis is what they are missing. Friendly, professional, polite people who offer outstanding quality for your money-from now on, I would not trust my jewelry to anyone else!

The extra touches make such a difference, like a 3D printed ring so my fiancé could see what it would look like before having it created, and a special engagement coffee cup for me. Just had my wedding ring repaired at Engels Jewelry and I am so pleased! It is stunning. I had lost a stone while cleaning, and was so upset. My insurance company was difficult to get ahold of and deal with even in an emotional situation, so I came back to the “second generation” of Richard Engels Jewelers where I purchased the original wrap. Mark was very nice to work with, and they did an amazing job replacing a stone, fixing prongs, and building up the channel for the channel-set diamonds. I was so comfortable with them that I bypassed the hassle of dealing with my insurance company over the past several months and felt their price was reasonable enough to just pay out of my own pocket. I would highly recommend them, and will certainly be back!

I have lived a great life, a blessed life. I have lived in a few different cities, some small, some a good size, all over the board. I have gone into stores looking for specific items and everyone jewelry store tells you the same story... they can do it. A lot can, some can't... but the difference is how they do it. The one on one touch, treated like you matter and that you are more than just a customer you are a friend that is what gets me to come back to your store. Engels is even better than that. This year my wife and I plan to redo her wedding band and diamond, this isn't something I would trust to just anyone. If 6 stars was an option I would have given them 6.

We are very happy with Engles Jewelry in Grandville. Brought in my 30+ year old wedding set to be fixed as the diamond engagement band had cracked clean through at the diamond bridge mount. They offered to repair it, but also offered to replicate it, using my same diamond, but making a new band in the exact style as my old one, so that it would be strong and solid. I'm so happy I chose the latter option as my ring is just like my old one but strong and will have a new guarantee now. Especially wonderful was that they took the gold from my broken original diamond ring and transformed it into a solid band that I can wear too - it's perfect!

I wanted to get my engagement rind and wrap reset into a new ring in a custom design and brought them in. They were very attentive, listened to what I wanted, and created a few designs for me to choose from, which could be altered as necessary if they weren't quite what I wanted. I appreciate that while they let me know what my options were (exchange the chipped stone, etc.,) they did not attempt to upsell at all (add stones, go with a more expensive design, etc.) Also, they take Covid seriously and all precautions are taken to keep everyone safe. The best part? The price was extremely reasonable for custom work and less than I was expecting!

Mark helped me design a ring for my Fianace and the team was more than accomdating and got it done early. He kept the CAD (prototype) for over 6 months & when I came back to purchase he remembered the exact ring. We recently went in to create a wedding band and buy a ring for myself. He helped create a CAD and has great prices. He will do everything he can to make sure your ring is special. Mark tops it off with a hand written letter sent in the mail a few weeks later. Engels will always have my business!

Engels had previously sold me a ring that eventually lost two of the diamonds. I brought it back to them, and without question they redesigned and remade a beautiful new ring with a stronger setting, and replaced the diamonds, as well. They create jewelry in house, and they stand behind their work. No risk for the customer, and they treat their customers with the utmost kindness and respect. If you are looking for a ring, at the very least you should stop at Engels to compare!! (Note: I don't believe they made the original piece.)

Honest and friendly service. After visiting a national chain jewelry store that sends all appraisals and repairs out to a 3rd party and charges a LOT of money, I took a ring in to Engels Jewelry for repair and appraisal - they inspected and said it did not need repaired. Other place told me 3 of 4 prongs needed replacing. Engels does $60 appraisal, 2 day turn around and subsequent appraisals are only $30. Ended up taking in 9 pieces of jewelry! Great staff. Nice to have a place that you can trust.
