I had the absolute pleasure of working with Bob Kortz, the personal jeweler from Kortz Originals. Bob went above and beyond to create something unique, one-of-a-kind and exactly what I wanted. I started with an antique wedding band with small diamonds, and my husband purchased me a gorgeous bridal set to accompany it, but it really needed something more. Bob looked at the pieces and created an incredible design out of what I already had, and then crafted them into a custom piece that is just remarkable! I also had a ring that had a very large stone fall out, and Bob helped me pick a new stone, then replaced it in the setting, creating a new piece that matches my style even more than the original ring. The biggest difference in working with Kortz Originals is that they really are a personal jeweler with the ability to completely customize your dream jewelry pieces. It's not a storefront with lots of existing pieces that you can "customize" by selecting a stone and just placing it in the setting, he can actually create the setting and style you want right in front of you, using his 3D rendering software. The best part I learned than having a personal jeweler is actually MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE than you'd think, and I will never go into a big box jeweler again. Thank you to Bob at Kortz Originals for creating rings I absolutely adore, , making the process so enjoyable and engaging, and changing my mind about how jewelers operate.

Bob Kortz, has been an absolute treat to work with. I went to him this past year to help design my wife's engagement ring. He was flexible, insightful, understanding and patient. We went through several redesigns of her ring. Not only did Bob not gripe about the changes, he encouraged them as what I was looking for in the ring became more and more clear over time! The design process was a marvel. Bob creates accurate 3d CAD renderings of any proposal, giving a true sense of what the real deal will look like. Bob was adamant I choose any gem to be put in the ring in person so I would know exactly what I was getting. The selection of gems he brought for my choosing were all of high quality and varying styles. In the end, I chose a gem cut that I hadn't considered because the color and shape were perfect for what I was trying to accomplish. It was keen Bob's eye as a jeweler that made this possible. Bob believes in the true customer experience. He will meet YOU, not the other way around. During consultations, Bob listened to my ideas and explained their implications without pushing me to a particular style. And let's talk about the cost. At the beginning of design, Bob gave accurate estimates about the final cost. He does not hide fees or change his estimates in the middle. Bob has developed a long list of competent suppliers and isn't afraid to fight for a good deal. Combine this with his lack of overhead and the end result is a price to beat any store front for a custom jewelry piece. Bob has earned my business for all the custom jewelry I'll need in the future. I've already gone back to him for my own ring and am looking for excuses for more customs in the future!

One of our crazy ideas was to embed a "secret" diamond into the inside of the ring that no one knows is there except for my wife. Kortz made it happen. I wanted a key pendent for my wife. I had a rough idea of the size and shape. I then found Kortz Originals and decided to reach out after reading the many great reviews. I contacted 4 jewelers to create a custom pendent. All declined to take on my project. Being in touch with Mr. Kortz, my rough idea was quickly turned into a 3D piece of art that I was able to ask for adjustments in order to make the perfect gift for my wife. During the adjustments, I had several questions and Mr. Kortz gave me more than enough information to help me fully understand the process, the materials involved and the value I’m receiving vs the final price. To say the very least the Key is spectacular. Much more WOW than I expected once I seen it in person. The entire process was convenient, easy, transparent and straight forward which I can/do greatly appreciate. After the Key was completed I was convinced that I would never go to another jeweler. I completely trust Mr. Kortz professionalism, his eye for detail and the quality of his work and materials. At my request Mr. Kortz provided me several options on diamond earrings I wanted to gift my wife & daughter. Again, convenient, flawless, timely and most importantly, within my budget. I have had the utmost pleasure working with Mr. Kortz and will continue to do so. I would highly recommend you to do the same if you’re looking for any type of jewelry.
