Truly a gem of a shop. I have purchased several items, including jewelry and mineral specimens as well as commissioned pieces and jewelry repairs. Brian does lovely work and is always willing to answer questions. There is always a friendly pooch or two running around looking for a head scratch too. I do think this is a very special place in Cheyenne and the prices are great. Brian has a wide array of items from exceptional specimens to your more common minerals. There’s something for everyone at every price range. I always enjoy stopping in, it’s truly a beautiful store.

I missed out on this place last time because of timing, so I made a special effort to get here this trip. I'm SO glad I did. A large shop, locally owned and operated, filled with all manner of jewelry and geologic curiosities, as well as a few other interesting gift items. I found a perfect polished agate bowl (never seen that before) for a steal of a price. The owner is extremely pleasant, dog-friendly, and respectfully chatty. He answers questions and makes pleasant conversation but he doesn't follow you around making you feel watched. If you're looking for a gift or souvenir of your trip to Wyoming that doesn't read "Wyoming" on the front but "Made in China" on the back, stop here!

We stopped in last Saturday with no prior knowledge. Rather amazing place. If we weren't under such time constraints, i'm sure we would have stayed longer and bought more. Wish i had caught the man's name (i was all but walking in my sleep), but he was a really nice helpful fellow....and has excellent taste in transportation. Stones, gems, fossils, jewelry, etc., it's all here, and very well lit unlike a lot of similar places. There is SOMETHING in this store you need.

Beautiful shop with lots of stones and jewelry options. Many of the stone specimens are well priced. Owner and their furry coworkers are very friendly!

An incredible store with friendly and knowledgeable people at the helm. I have had many custom pieces of jewelry made and repaired here, and that’s to say nothing of the fossils and gems I have never delved into personally. A true gem of Cheyenne.

I have been in this store many times and the staff all greet you with a hello even if they are with someone. I have bought many items here and the prices are very fair. I also would not ever let any other store fix any jewelry I need repairs on no matter where I bought it.

I am traveling every state and came here for some protection stones and positive energy crystals, because I was feeling a lot of stress and anxiety and anger lately. The owner was great help, great communication and helped me choose a particular stone that I’m in love with now. I wanted to buy everything in the store. Too bad I’m from out of town. My daughter and I had a fantastic time in Bohemian Metals today. We like to go to rock/mineral/fossil stores when we travel and this shop in Cheyenne was a special experience we will remember. Brian was super helpful and showed us all the local fossils, rocks, and dinosaur treasures in the store. We ended up buying a fossil named after a local Paleontologist and only after we bought it did we learn that it was Brian that found it and shaped it! My only regret is that we didn’t buy the 73million year old (?) shark tooth and ask if he had a cutting tool for the Amethyst geodes. I guess we’ll have to come back!!! 🤗🤗

I’m so happy that I was able to have some of my favourite gems and rough diamonds set into custom designed jewelry by Brian while we were living in Cheyenne WY. His work is unique, substantial and beautifully crafted, for men and women! Highly recommend!

Every time I go into this establishment I'm greeted warmly and with answers. I'm usually looking for something specific, of which i always walk out with. Even stones like shungite! Brian and Kerri are fantastic, knowledgeable, and Bohemian Metals has been a great staple to the greater downtown Cheyenne area.

I absolutely ADORE this store!!! Unfortunately, as life would have it, my son is now a THREE-nager, and it is simply not in the present cards for me to be granted long, leisurely periods of time to browse, gaze, drool, and be maniacally indecisive over the vast array of awe-striking earth treasures and gorgeous jewelry pieces that inhabit the shop. But, if you are not currently mucking through the deep, muddy trenches of toddler-dome...by all means...embrace your freedom, shop local, and go check this place out!!!

Excellent rock shop. If you are interested in rocks, it's a must visit. They even have African trading beads. Love the sweet water agates. A new Wyoming tradition for me.
