My wife and I went to Vermont Coin and Jewelry today, conveniently located a block away from the Trader Joe’s in South Burlington, Vermont. I had called Dennis, earlier in the day, to check their hours, which he confirmed are 9:30 - 5 daily. Even though we missed one ferry across Lake Champlain, the next one, minutes later got us to South Hero about twenty minutes later. So, we got to the store about 4:15. Greeted by Dennis and helped by Steve and Martha, the three of them could not have been nicer. They treated us like old friends! They answered all of our questions and helped us with our business there. I have to say, they know their stuff at Vermont Coin and Jewelry but never talked down to us, even though we are neophytes dealing with coins. I strongly recommend Vermont Coin and Jewelry! Thank You Dennis, Steve and Martha! You gave my wife and I a truly wonderful experience!

They have hundreds upon hundreds of different kind of coins and specialize in American coins. they also sell many foreign coins from different countries. The person we talked to was extremely helpful and seemed very qualified. Overall great store for coin collectors, whether you have been collecting for years or have just started collecting.

Honest square deal. No B.S.! Paid me a fair price. Had a nice antique engagement ring. I bought it and they had it resized at reasonable cost. They did not pad the costs. Fun place to visit. You might want to visit just out of curiosity!

I knew the value of my gold and knew the percentage of that full value that the owners pay - that’s why I returned, I was offered less than what I knew I should be getting paid based on the golds melt value and what % this store pays. The owners are straight shooters, but it’s not always the owner you deal with. I was offered 50% and had to make a fuss and ask to speak to the owner who then gave me the full 80% I should’ve been given when I first sat down. Would have lost hundreds. Don’t be fooled, Know what your bringing in to sell before you do, go to multiple places is my best advice

I had a terrific meeting this morning to review some coins I wanted to sell. The process was friendly, not sales pushy, the margins were very honest. It was offered if I ever wanted to bring my entire coin collection in, that this could happen as a free courtesy to review what I have with no obligation whatsoever other than relationship-building and a shared interest in coin collecting. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delighted to find this shop! It looks unassuming from the parking lot but there were enough treasures inside to keep us occupied for hours. The owners are friendly and engaging, and they set fair prices on beautiful antique and vintage pieces. Definitely a must-visit if you like older jewelry and historical art/curiosities. I will absolutely be back!

This business is the real deal. They know their stuff. I have always been treated with respect even while starting out as a coin and antique collector. I feel comfortable spending several hours in the store going thru their junk silver, their culls /slabs and other interesting collectibles.They are thriving in these times because they are open. honest. and available. I have brought other collectors and friends to Vermont Coin and they have had great fun getting to know the "crew". They have a wonderful approach of giving away freebies of numismatic folders and periodicals if they have extras. This place can get busy and spending a couple hours there can be a real treat as you interact with staff and clients!!!!!

I'm 11 and went there a month ago, Joe along with the other staff members where very nice! I walked out with a bunch of wheat cents for my folders a long with a Morgan, liberty head nickel, silver rosy, barber dime, Franklin, steel cent and a Ike bicentennial for my "coins of the Twentieth century" folder. I also got a gold coin valued, very happy with the estimate and overall wonderful experience! Would highly recommend going!

Predictive Profiling

Ten out of ten for this store. I bought an Ever Us white gold and diamond ring for my fiancé. The ring is beautiful, the price was great, and the staff went over and above the call of duty to help me find the right ring. I'll be there again - for another ring, this week. The prices are astronomically low and it's so refreshing to see beautiful rings instead of the run of the mill mass produced stuff offered by some of the larger jewelry stores. I also like the fact this store has character; personality, and class! I covet their oil painting of Lincoln and remain fascinated by their huge range of coins and antique oddities. It's a great place, you can trust them, and their prices are fantastically reasonable.

It's not always easy to let go of estate items especially when sentiment is involved. I visited the Vermont Coin & Jewelry after a referral from Wobby's in Barre. They were kind, considerate and compassionate. I highly recommend stopping by to speak with any of the staff especially Joe & Tammy. I found them very knowable and fair.

I have done a few deals with Steve and have gotten very good prices for my gold jewelry that I no longer wanted. It is a better way to sell than on ebay (who takes 15%). He also worked with me on some other piece of jewelry and I found him to be pleasant, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Would definitely recommend going there!

this is by far the best place to go to sell and buy your gold, silver, and antique collectibles to. Everyone is super helpful and aimed to make you happy when you leave. They are knowledgeable and will give you a great deal. No one will do you better than these guys. This is the only shop in Burlington you should frequent, it's always worth the visit.
