Winkle herself helped me design a stunning piece of art with my fiancee for her ring. We decided on a wrap to compliment her solitaire heart shaped diamond. It came out beautiful. Pictures don't do justice. My Bride to be loves it as do I... From design to sending me photos of the cad image and to final payment it was flawless... The ring had to be custom designed and created in a good price range I had. Like I said... Stunning... Def go here... Small biz over a mall crawl everyone gets the same. Very very happy

I received it much faster than anticipated and needed a couple links which they ordered on the spot and they also arrived far ahead of schedule. My fiancé and I wanted to design our own engagement ring and had planned to visit multiple jewelry shops in Burlington. When we walked into Perrywinkles, Emily P. was ready and available to chat with us about our vision. She was so welcoming, understanding, passionate and helpful through the whole process. We never made it to another shop because of Emily’s great care and genuine interest in us and what we wanted. We spent 3 hours there the first time explaining the exact stones we wanted and design we had in mind. She and Melissa helped guide us in stone selection and made sure we stayed within our budget. When it came time for production she kept my fiancé in the loop (kept any details secret from me so the proposal could be a surprise!) and they even finished the ring earlier than expected. I had called many jewelers trying to get this specific Tudor Chrono so that I could have it in time for my wedding next year and was told over and over that it would be anywhere from a 1-3 year wait. So I couldn't believe it when I called Perrywinkle's and Winkle told me that I could actually put a deposit down to order it so I would have it in time. Roughly 3 months later she gives me the call and I was able to make a trip down to pick it up. I couldn't be happier with the help she provided and knowing that I wouldn't have to look for a last minute replacement next year as the date drew closer and closer.

My fiancé selected an exquisite diamond band set in white gold that Winkle had custom designed. I selected a very classic and elegant platinum band. Winkle had both of them engraved for us. Both bands were ordered and arrived a few weeks later. They are so gorgeous. As I write, we are one week away from our wedding and we are so excited to have these two beautiful wedding bands that we will cherish for the rest of our lives! Winkle then assisted us in ordering two Rolex watches—one for my fiancé as a wedding gift and one for my mother as a gift for helping with our wedding planning. Winkle showed us a variety of watches from the case, allowing us to handle them and try them on. Winkle was exceptional in her knowledge and service and made us feel much more informed and comfortable. She expertly guided us through the immense number of styles, we decided on two stunning watches, and Winkle ordered them for us. Winkle then called us when the two watches arrived and we returned to Periwinkle’s to pick them up. Winkle greeted us with big hugs and then showed us the watches. WOW! We were blown away by these two beautiful watches. My fiancé can’t take her eyes off of her watch—it’s so pretty and the perfect wedding gift for the love of my life. The watch for my mother was amazing and several of the other salespeople were also stunned by how beautiful it looked. Winkle worked with both my husband and me to design the perfect set of rings, start to finish, for all three bands. TLDR; we couldn't be happier with the results and we absolutely recommend Winkle and the entire Perrywinkle's Team. First, the engagement ring: He first worked with Winkle to design a custom ring for me, using heirloom stones that have been passed down through my family and I couldn't be happier with the result. She even sized my ring based on photos of my hand, and it fit perfectly when he proposed after a hike! After losing some weight a few months later, getting it resized was a breeze; so fast and easy. Next, wedding bands! I went back to Winkle to get custom bands for me and my husband and again the process was great. I brought in some inspiration pictures and sketches, and they worked up a CAD drawing to make sure the design was perfect before anything got cast. We had some back and forth on details and Winkle was so patient with our limited schedules and availability to come see things in person. In the end, everything worked out and we're so happy with the rings! Go see the Perrywinkle's team for your rings. You won't be disappointed!

Winkle and her team are phenomenal. They are incredibly welcoming and can answer any question or concern you throw their way. A couple of days ago my buddy AJ and I visited Perrywinkle's Fine Jewelry to test drive a few exhibition watches. As I walk in I'm greeted with friendly smiles as alwasy and the whole atmosphere was extemely comforable to begin with. We tried on many watches, if not all of them, and we were not rushed one bit. Winkle helped us with trying on the watches and she remembers my wife and daughters name : ) Having this opportunity to try on all of the rolex watches gave my buddy and I a better understanding of what we want and what we don't like. Winkle is awesome! AJ and I are big IPA fans and Winkle personally offered us IPAs from the local brewery. Vermont has the best Jewelry Boutique as well as the best craft beer. This is the first time i've ever been offered anything in a jewelry boutique. This type of experience is unmatched and you will not get this level of service anywhere else. I've bought a watch for myself from Winkle before and my wife is patiently waiting for her special piece. I trust this business wholeheartedly with any of my future large purchases and highly recommend this to my family and friends. She was able to design it just from looking at a picture on my phone. I like that she tends to add her own twists to things and make them even more special. Nathan made the engagement ring process very enjoyable. He helped me with understanding the entire process, adding humor along the way. I'm editing this review because of a phone call I had with Zev who works in the Watch Shop at Perrywinkle's, which served to clarify some of the issues I had after I left my initial less-than-positive review (below). Zev called me not long after I left my review to explain a few things: First, they do service watches in-house when possible, which I think is a great option to have locally. I was mistaken in my assumption that all watches are sent out. It seems they have a triage system to ensure the right person is servicing the right watch in an appropriate amount of time. Zev also agreed that some more communication could be offered to people dropping off watches for service, such as when the watch will leave the building (if that's needed for off-premise service). In the future I think that people who are as neurotic as I am about knowing what's going on with their watches will have a little more insight from the start, which in and of itself improves the service as far as I'm concerned. I do think the timeline estimation could be a bit more conservative to avoid frustration, but I understand that these things are sometimes difficult to predict. All that said, my conversation with Zev after picking up my watch did reassure me that it was handled by people who care about watches and the services they're offering, which is a big deal for people like myself. I do appreciate when businesses take the care to reach out when customers aren't satisfied, and I'm amending my review to reflect that. If having a watch serviced locally by people who care about what they're offering, I think that Perrywinkle's is your best local option. Just make sure to talk to them if you have any questions going into it ; ) INITIAL REVIEW BELOW: Normally I don’t write negative reviews, especially of local businesses, but I had an unfortunate experience with Perrywinkle’s watch repair service. I do want to start out by saying that everyone I spoke to at the shop was helpful and pleasant. I had nice conversations with people who did seem to be knowledgeable about watches and happy to help me out. My initial reason for bringing my watch to Perrywinkles to be repaired was in the hope that the repair would be carried out locally. I dropped the watch off under the assumption that it would be looked at in town, but when I was contacted about the required repairs I learned that it had been shipped somewhere else. I should have clarified that this was the case before I handed off the watch, but despite that, I would have liked if the process was made clear to me when I dropped off the timepiece. I had a rough idea of the estimate, which was somewhat substantially higher than other mail-out (US based) services, but I was okay with that while I was under the impression that it would be repaired in town/state. When I was contacted with the final estimate, I inquired about the turnaround time so I could compare it to mailing the watch to the manufacturer (in Europe) for service, where it would have been much less expensive, but their timing estimate was about 6 weeks for repair. I was told that the estimated turnaround time was 4 weeks. At the 4 week mark, I called the watch shop and was told that I would be lucky to expect the watch by the end of the year (I dropped the watch off in October, approved service at the beginning of November, and called in the beginning of December). When I called to check on the service, they told me the turnaround estimate was 6-8 weeks. This brings the total service time estimate to about 10 weeks, at this point I would have paid about 35% more money and waited 20% longer to have the watch serviced off-premises. Luckily I did receive a surprise call that my watch was ready in the beginning of December, so it did end up being within that ‘revised’ 6-8 week estimate. Ultimately I regret choosing Perrywinkles for service and wish I had instead sent the watch back to the original manufacturer for service as it would have saved me both time and money.

We have gotten many beautiful custom pieces designed and crafted from them, but the latest was a unique situation. I planned on getting a custom necklace built for my wife after our first child, and had to call in the design concepts from my BATHROOM to keep it a secret from her while we were both still at home! Winkle was able to get all of the details, coach me on engraving and coordinate payment in a very discreet fashion. I was in Vermont for some R&R. I was one hundred miles from Burlington but wanted to visit the town and see what the watch scene is like up there. I decided to go to Perrywinkles. I was greeted by Winkle and told her I was just snooping around. She kindly let me go off and snoop but told me she is available with any questions. There was a Tudor I liked but wasn't sure if I wanted to spontaneously drop some money on a new watch. The store was busy but I felt like I was the only one there when seriously looking at the watch. The store is wonderfully laid out, bright and inviting. Winkle showed me some used Rolex watches, which I'm always interested in. I then needed time to think if I was ready to buy. There were comfortable sofas that felt homey and I had time to relax. No pressure whatsoever. I finally decided to buy the watch. Winkle was patient and attentive during the sizing process. After the sale, Winkle and a co-worker were very interested in my story and looking at pictures of my watch collection. Winkle then said she would like to help me obtain one of those watches that everyone has to wait for. I said, "I'm not even from the area, why?" She thought it was interesting that I like to buy a watch to remind me of the state I visited. I found her enthusiasm to be very genuine and not just to make a sale but to make a connection with someone not from the area. All in all it was a very nice experience and more than just a transaction. I was made to feel a part of the Perrywinkle's family. I'll will always drop in when I'm in the area to say hi and see if they can take my money!

Fast, trustworthy, honest and amazing craftsmanship. My fiancé and I brought my grandmother’s engagement ring, a valuable family heirloom, to Winkle at Periwinkles for a major resizing (much larger which is tricky), prong repair, hand scroll work repair, and an appraisal. I was nervous to even hand this ring over, and had gone to a few other jewelers (and walked out with my ring in hand) before landing at Periwinkles. I felt so comfortable, knew Winkle was being straightforward with me, and left feeling great. A week and a half later (thinking this would take at least 4+ weeks) Winkle called me herself to tell me the ring was complete. When we got there and saw it, it was absolutely perfect and brought me to tears. The work matched the 1905 intricate ring perfectly, and the appraisal was incredibly detailed and precise. My fiancé was blown away, and the pricing was more than fair. We will only be working with Periwinkles for all of our jewelry needs/purchases moving forward!

Awesome team at Perrywinkle's VT. We went there one Saturday and Melissa Schwab immediately offered us drinks and accommodated us right away. We were looking for a specific ROLEX as a gift for my hubby and they don't have it but she and Zev showed us several options. We ended up not getting anything. But after a few weeks, I got a call and text that they have the specific one on hand that they offered us first before they put it on display the next day. We went to pick it up the next day but Melissa wasn't there. Winklette, the owner, was very nice to take over and delivered us the watch that my husband wanted. Where to begin...I was working in Vermont back in 2019 and as a watch enthusiast, I wanted to stop in the local watch AD and see what they had. I was greeted by a nice young lady who was more than happy to show current inventory and discuss the current state of the watch market. This young lady was Winkle. We sat and talked for close to an hour about anything and everything, and I left with my name written down for a particular watch that had sentimental value to me. With the current state of the Rolex market, it was refreshing to finally encounter a small town family run AD. Knowing how Rolex ADs can be, Perrywinkle’s has remained as humble as ever. Looking for a Rolex can be discouraging but not at this AD. Even though the market is difficult, Ariana, Winklette and Zev always give you an optimistic and happy feeling and never discourage the customer. Everyone I saw walk in to the AD had a warm and happy feeling due to the staff fostering such an atmosphere. Ariana and the owner Winklette were able to secure me a great piece and I have to say this place has become my number one. Their selection of exhibition Rolexes is quite the showcase of superstars (blue sky dweller, green OP, Batman, Blue Yachtmaster). Even if one is not in the market for a Rolex, you have to step into the store for the overall joy you’ll experience when you walk out. Well worth the trip!!! This store is much more than Rolex. It is first and foremost about customer relationships and that is enough to make anyone want to support them that much more. The nicest staff you’ll ever meet in any type of business.

Incredible is the only way to describe her. 16 years ago I bought a very special pendant diamond necklace of which only two were made. Unfortunately, it was stolen. I called Winkle (thank God she still works at Periwinkle's) who remembered the piece just by me telling her my name. How is that possible?!! While I was waiting for Melissa to finish up with her clients, I was never left alone the other salesman kept me company and we were talking about watches and our collection. Once Melissa was done it was like meeting an old friend we started talking about our friends family work catching up. When we walked to the rolex section of the store they had every model to try on mind you this is also the exhibition models however we don't even have that in NY so to be able to see and try on a rolex u always dreamed to have was worth the drive to Vermont for me. While we were talking about what watch model I like the owner came and introduced herself, she even knew that I was coming that day which blew my mind. She offered to clean my necklace for free while I was trying on watches I never had such great customer service in my life. After I was done browsing Melissa showed me around the shop and introduced me to her husband who works there as well the place felt like it was one big family working there. They also had some vintage rolexes in the shop which I got to try on. After it was all set and done I felt like the staff and the owner truly cared about me it didn't feel like any ordinary rolex store, all in all best customer service I ever had in my life. BTW while in Vermont get yourself a Creemee the owner actually gave me a great recommendation.

I live in Virginia and was recently helping my sister (who lives in Maine) search for a very hard to find Tudor Black Bay 58 for her husband’s birthday. Needless to say, I couldn’t find this watch in 20 stores in the mid-Atlantic area and though my sister found a store that was five hours away, that store wasn’t willing to mail it to her. So on a hunch, I searched the Tudor authorized dealer site and thought I’d check the Burlington location (thinking that if there was a watch my niece- who lives near Burlington- could pick it up). So I called Perrywinkles and spoke with Nathan who was so considerate and spent 20 minutes searching his inventory, later calling me back with the great news and a picture of the watch (see pic). However, this story gets a lot better, after purchasing the watch over the phone Nathan arranged to mail it to my sister (at no extra charge!) and gift wrapped it and added a lovely card. Then he texted me to tell me it may not arrive for three days and asked if it would make it in time for her husband’s birthday! I said that was fine but he said if it wasn’t going to be there on time he was going to drive the watch to my sister’s house in Maine. I’ve honestly never encountered that level of dedicated customer service. Nathan you’ve earned lifelong customers in Virginia and Maine, thank you so much!

My wife and daughters lit up with excitement, and it warms my heart. UPDATE 21/JUN/2022 The custom necklaces we designed together came out perfectly. Laura, Winkle, Emily, and the entire team were graceful and attentive beyond my expectations. These pieces brought tears to my eyes. We took Emily's compass pendant and applied a birthstone for each of my four daughters on each of the poles. The true north rotates for each person's birthstone, patterned oldest to youngest in a clockwise rotation. They were even kind enough to etch each child's initials on on the back of the pendants. Zev is a fantastic person to meet, especially if you are looking to collect timepieces. He has discerning taste and is a kind and intelligent man. I hope to learn from him in the coming years, both in horology and in life. He has a depth of wisdom that always interests me. She really loved it and wore it all the time but the quality of the material was not great, thus the price. I am your stereotypical guy; proof is it took me over two years to write this review.... Sorry Winkle! I walked into Perrywinkle's with some ideas from my future wife and an idea how much I could spend. My wife didn't want a traditional diamond engagement ring but rather a pink sapphire piece. Winkle worked with me to create a custom engagement piece based on some hints, my ideas and Winkles professional recommendations. We started with a signature "Devotion" setting and Winkle overnighted alternate sapphire stones so I had color and price options for the engagement ring. The custom piece was finished within a couple weeks and ready for the big presentation on our anniversary. I loved the outcome of our creation but most importantly my wife loves the ring every day. Every time we visit to the store for a cleaning or just to say hello, we are always greeted with a smile, often by first name and being dog friendly establishment, always with a treat for Gus. We were so pleased with the engagement ring that we had a custom wedding band made to match. Jewelry purchases are few and far between in my household. So choosing where to go to update my engagement ring for our 27th anniversary was a bit nerve-racking. How would I explain what I wanted? Did I know what I wanted? How would I make decisions? The Burlington Perrywinkles is a beautifully appointed space, staffed by friendly, well-dressed and knowledgeable professionals. We scheduled an appointment with Winklette and when we sat down with her, she asked questions and listened. She listened. It's that simple, but that's why Perrywinkles is so wonderful. With her 25 years of experience, she walked me through what to consider. She looked through my pictures of collected ideas and asked questions. She helped me make what to me were hard decisions (Round stone or new shape? Platinum or gold?) with authority, giving me full confidence that I was making the right choices. She explained the process, cost and timeline. She took obvious pleasure in hearing our "story" and took a real sense of pride and ownership in creating something truly special for us. I left Perrywinkles that Saturday without the rings that I've worn for more than 27 years. Freaky. But Winkle stayed in touch. I approved a drawing of the ring design and later a CAD rendering. Four weeks later (long weeks, where I continuously looked at my naked finger and said "Aaaaaaagh!" before my brain kicked in), Winklette excitedly called to let us know the ring was ready. She offered to stay late so we could come that day to get it, but we couldn't get there until the next day. She was as excited as I was, which was touching. The ring took my breath away. My imagination could not begin to compete with what sat before me. This is mine? I get to wear this every day? Thanks to COVID, there was no hugging, no jumping up and down, no loudly exclaimed "YAYs!!!" but alas, the refined atmosphere of Perrywinkles is not really the place to let out your inner tween to shriek and dance. But when I go back for a Star Wars Pandora bracelet, it's ON. I couldn't be happier with my new ring and the outstanding service we received from Perrywinkles. Truly a bright spot in this difficult year. Do not hesitate to trust Perrywinkles with your hopes and dreams. They deliver.

I had a bad experience with another jeweler. Perrywinkles went out of their way to remake my ring so that the diamond was solidly held in the mounting. I had originally bought the diamond from them, but the problem was with the mounting...and they offered to fix it and rebuild it from scratch for free. So nice! They take their time to do good work, and are knowledgeable about what is going to work and what is not. They also sent my watch to be fixed, and I did not even buy it there. Now i wish I had. I went and bought my daughter's watch, a very nice Eco Citizen that uses solar power to run, and has a long guarantee. My watch is fixed, and my ring is now safe, with a rightly help diamond. I appreciate the helpful staff. They are always nice, knowledgeable, and pleasant...and don't badmouth other shops. They just show you what they have, and it's hard to beat them. Wonderful store. She answered all my questions, gave step by step info on any optional changes of the stones, or metals, finishes of my chosen setting and can even help you build your own ring from scratch!! This store is by far the best jewelry buying experience, hands down. I originally stopped in here after researching Triton men's wedding bands and discovering that they were sold here. Not only did they custom order the ring I was looking for, but they were nearly $150 less expensive than another jeweler, where I originally found it. Not only that, but the customer service was absolutely incredible. We were offered coffee, soft drinks, and snacks and they even cleaned my fiancé's jewelry while we waited! Because of that great experience we came here again a few weeks later to ask about my fiancé's engagement ring, because we felt the insurance appraisal we received from the store we originally purchased it from was unfairly low. They wouldn't go so far as to comment on the other store's practices (which in my opinion, speaks to their integrity), but we decided while we were there to look at what they had available because we were uncomfortable with how the other store was treating us when we raised our concerns. Carly was impeccably patient with us, as it was not a trivial decision we were making to return my fiancé's original ring and purchase a new one from a jeweler that treated us fairly. Without the guarantee of a sale, she still took the time to find the perfect ring, and lo and behold, we found a custom setting and loose stone that went together perfectly and were the same price as the other store, despite being more than double the total diamond weight!! I guess what I'm saying is that the value is as excellent as the service. However, we were still struggling with the decision to return the old ring, as it had a certain amount of sentimental value, and Carly left us completely alone to make that decision. Ultimately, we decided to go for it, owing to the fantastic service and excellent quality. This piece had to be custom made, from scratch, but the beautiful thing about Perrywinkle's is that they do that work in-store! We had the new piece within 3 weeks, and it is as beautiful as it is well-made. Add to that the fact that Carly recognizes and greets us as soon as she sees us makes this one of the best purchasing experiences we have ever had. We plan on purchasing all of our future jewelry here as well, and their layaway program is excellent and flexible, so you can pay for the pieces you fall in love with over any length of time you need.

Perrywinkles has the best customer service of any store in Vermont, and I would argue much of the country, period. I went in shopping for an engagement ring, and spoke with Logan, who walked my fiancé and I through every step of the selection and custom ordering process. He took nearly an hour and half with us to help custom select and custom fit the ring to her. I requested the ring be ready in 2 months. Two weeks later, I found out there was a perfect opportunity to propose that I didn't want to miss, and called in seeing if they could accommodate an earlier production timeline of nearly 4 weeks. Without hesitation, they had it ready within 72 hours. I truly have never had better service from any store and cannot speak highly enough about Perrywinkles.

My experience buying a custom engagement ring couldn't have been better. When I knew that I was going to propose I started by scouring the internet for the best deal, none of the rings that I found were good enough and I was never sure exactly what I was going to get. It all started with a phone conversation that ended in “I guess I have to propose to you now”. It’s not like as if we had to get married, it was more of a “why not” after being together for 20+ years. Once we thought about it, and decided we could and would do it, the research started and the hunt for rings began. Not that this was a painful process, but after visiting numerous stores in the northeast and the diamond district in NYC it seemed like all the rings were starting to look the same...diamond overload. My girlfriend/soon to be fiancé/future wife said that we should visit Perrywinkle’s in Vt., since she had such pleasant experiences with Emma each time she bought a watch. We headed over and as soon as we entered the store we were greeted by everyone working out in front. We were able to walk freely about the store and it was not until we stopped did an associate come over. For us, it was perfect, just enough time without the pressure of an associate which to us was wonderful. It began with a conversation and ended with an education. After several visits and numerous rings slipped on our fingers we decided upon a certain style, cut and how many diamonds. We ordered the first ring and if it was as beautiful as Winkle said it would be, then the other would be ordered. We were given the time frame and after a few calls to see if it was done ahead of time, we finally received the call from Emma to say it was ready. We headed over and as soon as the ring was slipped on my finger and the lights hit the diamonds we ordered the second ring. Just about one month later our second ring arrived and was just as beautiful as the first. So now we have two gorgeous rings made specifically for us and we couldn’t be happier. What am I trying to get at with all of this rhetoric: we went to Perrywinkle’s in search of the perfect rings, which we found, and as a bonus, a few more people entered our lives who truly wanted to make us happy. We would recommend Perrywinkle’s not only due to their professionalism, knowledge and quality of jewelry, but also for their pursuit of making this experience one to remember.

I chose to look into Perrywinkle’s based on the overwhelming number of positive reviews. To be honest, I was slightly suspicious seeing so many glowing customer experiences. Was someone doctoring the list? Definitely not! After my experience, I have nothing but positive things to say. When I began this process, I didn’t know the first thing about jewelry, let alone engagement rings. My experience working with Anna at the Burlington location was nothing short of fantastic. Anna and I designed an engagement ring for my fiancé that turned out truly stunning. I met with Anna initially to discuss some ideas I had about ring designs. She was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and encouraging. We ended up with a sketch that I was very happy with, and a couple weeks later I got to see a wax molding of our creation. I was so very impressed with the jeweler's attention to detail; every aspect of the wax molding was perfect. A few weeks after that the ring was finished, and to this day I'm still blown away by its beauty and precision. The best part? My fiancé is in love/borderline obsessed (haha) with her ring! We've already begun designing our wedding bands and, much like the engagement ring, the process has been a true delight. My fiancé and I love the fact that our rings are one-of-a-kind (sorry, Zales, Kay, Jared, etc.) and that we'll always have a piece of VT with us wherever we go. Although I've primarily worked with Anna (again, she's AMAZING; really can't say enough good things about her), I have briefly interacted with a number of other employees, and they are all great. I walked into Perrywinkle's on Saturday 9/26/15 with a very heavy heart. I had been promised a custom wedding band to match my engagement ring from a local jeweler since October of 2014 when I got engaged. After months of false promises, LIES, and one excuse after another, I finally picked it up Friday 9/25 in the late afternoon. I cried my eyes out as the ring was HORRIBLE. My mother and I went into the Burlington Perrywinkle's and were met by Anna. We told her our story, and during the story, Winkle joined our conversation. They could sense my stress and sense of urgency (and I had been able to hold back my tears). They then got Emily, one of the designers that I had worked with a few months back, when I brought my engagement in for an appraisal (no longer having any faith or trust in my local jeweler. Emily took us to one of the rooms and began working with us to get right down to a design. Perrywinkle's was willing to loan me a band for my ceremony on 10/3 until they could custom make one (usually takes 4-5 weeks). Then, while speaking with Emily, Winkle walked over and said she had spoken to the head jeweler and they could have a custom ring made for my by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2nd. That's when the tears began to flow. I couldn't believe it! They owed me nothing and went so far above and beyond i can't even tell you how ecstatic I am. My wife and I showed up at the Burlington store on the afternoon of December 24th with a pearl necklace we had purchased there months ago that had a problem with the clasp. We were hoping to give it to our granddaughter for Christmas. By pure chance, Perry (the owner) happened to wait on us, and despite the store being packed with customers he put our repair job at the front of the line, and had one of his repair experts fix the problem for us. During our wait time we were frequently offered a drink or snack by different members of his sales team, and we were impressed with how well the staff was handling the Christmas rush. I personally don't know much about jewelry, so this review isn't so much about how beautiful the merchandise is, or how it is priced. This is about having a great customer experience. This store proved to me that they stand behind their merchandise and know how to treat customers long after the sale.

I am hoping everyone will purchase their Valentine's Day gifts from Perrywinkle's this year. This is not because I am regular customer, but specifically because of the kindness of the owner. Last Christmas, I accidentally bought my husband a gift that was larger and heavier in the box than I was expecting and realized too late that I had no way of getting it home easily without a car (normally it is only a 15 minute walk from our house to Church St). With a history of multiple back surgeries, I barely made it down the block when I really started to regret my purchase, but I tried to persevere since my husband was out of town. I finally made it a little further and had to stop and put the box down in front of Perrywinkle's. My house was only a five more blocks away, but I decided I would have to call a taxi and wait in the cold. Then, out comes the owner and saw I needed help. I had never shopped there before and she did not know me, but she immediately offered me a ride home. I can now say if I ever need jewelry for myself or a gift, they have earned a customer for life!

After further exploration, Zev decided he would be able to fix it himself for under $200 (compared to the $700 it would have cost had he sent it out to Longines). Zev genuinely cared about the sentimental value the watch has to both me and my family and he went above and beyond to find a way to repair it for a very reasonable cost. Fantastic jewellers. The watchmaker and Mr. Werts knocked themselves out to repair a Tissot for me. When, due to the watch's design, it couldn't be done, they did all the work to get me a brand new replacement via Tissot's exchange program and couriered it to me in Ireland. All that for considerably less than I expected to pay for the repair. That level of service it s rare these days. I highly recommend them as trustworthy jewellers committed to quality and customer satisfaction.

We stopped in to see if they could repair a watch band for us (my uncle's watch, which used to belong to my grandfather). They offered several options, one of which was to repair the band with some leftover watch band parts they had on hand, and we opted for that. Not only did they repair the band while we waited, but because they happened to have used parts and because it was such a minor repair, they said "No charge!" and sent us on our merry way. I think this was an unusual, lucky situation for us, but the way they handled it left us feeling very warmly toward Perrywinkle's.

So me and my friend went in to look at watches, we were greeted right away and treated to some of the best customer service that I have had. In talking with Zev about watches it was clear he knew exactly what he was talking about. He was setting up the Tudor display that had come in, I told him that we were going to eat and come back to look, hoping he would have it done. He asked what we were having and when we told him he took time to make a suggestion and print us directions. We ended up coming back in after getting a bite to eat, he remembered our names and was again right there to help us (after he was done with his other customer). He had finished the display but none of the watches had made it out yet, he gave us the catalog and told us to look through and he'd show us what we liked if he had it. Well needless to say I went in looking and left with a new watch, he stayed and waited, we left an hour after the store closed. Everyone there was excellent to talk to and deal with. They have earned a customer with their great service and knowledge.

So I initially went in to have a watch serviced and was very happy with my first impressions of store and staff. I was told the cost of initial service of my watch and they suggested to pad it out for repairs, it made sense. I made the mistake of asking to send some simple pictures of the watch being overhauled. Might as well be asking for a rolex today! It's not happening. Watch repair guy works part time so who knows when and if they will respond. I know they will respond when they want to get paid.
