We used Simmons’s for our engagement ring and now for our wedding band and our experience has been phenomenal. Blake worked with my fiancé to create the perfect engagement ring, and then was able to help us custom design a wedding band to compliment the ring so well. Jay, the owner, also helped us and he was wonderful to work with as well. The whole staff is very friendly and make sure you are taken good care of. We will always come back when we have fine jewelry needs!

Working with Crista at Simmons Fine Jewelry was absolutely amazing! She helped us find a new setting for the diamond in my mom's first wedding ring and was super knowledgable throughout the entire process. She came prepared with ideas for rings I might like based on a few photos I showed her and helped us find an engagement ring/wedding band that was absolutely beautiful and within our budget. I had a phenomenal experience at Simmons. My mom bought her ring from Simmons in 2001, so I was able to take her diamond and put it into a new setting that fit my budget. I worked with Allison, and she was an amazing help as I had no prior experience or knowledge of what to look for. She took time to show me different styles and educated me on the different stones that were available. As well as what they could do to transfer my mothers diamond into something of my own. Overall I really appreciate all of the assistance that I got and am really satisfied with the ring I bought.

25 yrs ago I was looking for the perfect engagement ring. Something unique, something beautiful I could afford. I was at Simmons with someone picking up their own wedding ring, and after a pleasant conversation with the staff I felt more comfortable than ever. I browsed with their guidance and found the perfect piece for my future wife! It was a great experience. Unfortunately, just MONTHS AGO, we tragically lost her ring. We were heartbroken. However, we had occasion to be back in the Boise area this week, and we visited Simmons Fine Jewelry to see if they could help. Jay (still the owner!) was in the store and, after hearing our story, offered to help us recreate the ring. However, after looking at pictures of the ring, he wanted to dig further. Amazingly he remembered some of the details of his creation and found the custom design molds he built so many years ago! I have always cherished my first buying experience at Simmons Fine Jewelry, but I will never, ever forget this one. I am definitely a customer for life! I highly recommend them to all of my friends. I have had more than one custom piece made by Allan, their design goldsmith. His work is second to none. After checking out many many different places we ended up back at Simmons for a few reasons: Blake and his staff are amazing easy going and not pushy for the sale (and we all know what that means). The first time we went Blake was the only person of all places that sat down with us and broke down pricing of diamond, size, color how it works what to look for options and most importantly honesty. The selection is amazing and has lots to choose from. They are Locally owned and a family business which is hard to find with all the chains around. Lastly lifetime warranty they stand behind the jewelry and that’s important in something you are wearing everyday. Come to find out Most places do have a warranty but most are 3-5 year that you pay for and/or has restrictions. We learned a lot shopping around which is important to do and we are happy to be working with Simmons!

My overall experience at Simmons was bad at first because of the older blonde lady who was slightly mean (not very friendly). I went to there to get my 3-set bridal rings separated. Not knowing that the turnaround was going to be a month plus long to receive my rings back (which seemed like an eternity). I give 1 star for the older blonde woman (due to her attitude). However, when I returned there (a month and days later to pick up) Anjel was the most sweetest person ever! She greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile (under her mask) and she was quite a delightful help! She was adamant, professional and courteous! Fair warning this will be a long post but I believe it is worth noting this incredible jeweler and staff. Recently became engaged and being the second marriage for both of us we didn’t want all the “fluff”. We both said immediately that we would be going to Simmons however i felt we needed to at least look at another jewelers to compare styles. Upon walking into the first place i knew instantly it was the wrong choice. There was no engaging conversation from the sales clerk and when I explained what our intentions were (my mother had given me her wedding ring and i was going to incorporate it into my new ring). The sales rep started with a bunch of excuses about this may not be working, etc. When i inquired about a ring i had seen on website she had to get her laptop to even see if it was in stock. In less than 15 minutes we left and headed to Simmons which ultimately was our first choice. Immediately upon entering the door we were greeted by Crista. I was a little hesitant explaining what our intentions were but Crista instinctively asked the right questions and within 5 minutes Crista said she had something in stock that i had just explained to her, AND SHE WAS RIGHT! We continued looking than I explained my mothers ring and incorporating it. She began helping me find something to go with that ring and style. Jay was then asked and without hesitation said it absolutely could be done and had some things worked out. It was such a relief knowing that these two were so gracious and understanding of what we needed and wanted for US. Some issues came up with financing at no fault of Simmons but again Crista did not shoo us out but instead said we had other options to get what we wanted. We LOVE the end result and would never hesitate to go back to Simmons, there is no comparison. This jeweler and his staff loves to help others and you become family. I began my relationship with Simmons Fine Jewelry almost 7 years ago when I was shopping for an engagement ring. I was a poor starving college student and had a tight budget. Every jeweler I went to in the valley tried to upsell me once I told them what my budget was, but not Simmons. They understood and still understand that there is much more to engagement rings and relationships than the size of the ring and the dollar spent. I needed a key tag engraved with a very limited timeline. I had talked with other engravers in the area and it was a month turnaround time. Then I got reminded that some jewelers do engravings and Simmons Fine Jewelry was the first one that popped up and I am so incredibly thankful they were! I called them and Jay told me that it could probably get done but to come in and we could talk about the project more and give the engraver a call. When I got there Anjel was the one who helped me and she said that she was familiar with the call and helped me pick out a font and size then called the engraver who said it could be done! We found Simmons' website when shopping for a luxury watch. Liking what we saw, we went to their Meridian store on a Saturday. Mind you, we had come from loads of errand running and were dressed very casually. We were greeted warmly and helped patiently. The watch selection met our expectations and when we asked to see one we liked with a different watch-face, Blake happily ordered it in for our consideration. Other places we had visited said things like this: "we are phasing out watches and not going to carry them any more" or "No, we cannot order one in unless you buy it." Simmons and Blake clearly understood that people need to try on a watch, make sure it is readable for them, and what they want to own as a precious keepsake! When the watch came in, we were immediately called. We went in and compared the new-arrival with two others we had also liked. Hands-down, the watch Blake ordered in was what worked best - and beautiful too! Blake sized my wrist so that my sweetheart could call later to complete the purchase. We never felt pressured; we felt thoroughly respected and supported. The "we want the watch call" was made, the band sized for me, and we went to pick up the watch. Again, we were coming out of an afternoon of yardwork and heading to the store underdressed. No one passed judgment and again Blake and his team happily helped us complete our purchase. While in the store this trip, we had the opportunity to meet Jay, the store Founder. He was gracious, cordial, and a delight. Our entire Simmons experience was fantastic. My intended is from Idaho, we currently live in California. When I decided it was time to pop the question, I spent many hours searching local stores in CA for just the right sapphire.
