Best coin shop in Boise. My 10 year old is an avid coin collector and frequents Rosehill on a regular basis. Hal is absolutely AMAZING and so incredibly patient with him. My son LOVES to talk about coins and he always walks out feeling like he's their most important customer. They have never taken advantage of my son's inexperience and price their coins fairly. Thank you for always treating Tanner with kindness and helping him learn more about the hobby.

It's pointless to argue

Bought a Morgan, I think price was fair. The staff is friendly and informative. I recommend do any coin collectors out there and anybody that just likes a shiny pretty coin.

Honestly guys, you really can't go wrong with Rose Hill. Not only are these guys patient and knowledgeable, they're nice. I was very pleased as I had been looking for this particular coin for quite some time. I was just about ready to give up and buy it on eBay at a rather high price, when my jeweler recommended that I check first at Rosehill Coins & Jewelry. I did and I found the exact coin I was looking for. I was very happy! I was also very pleased that their prices were lower than on eBay, not even counting eBay's shipping charges. So I found exactly what I wanted, the cost was very reasonable and the staff was helpful, informative and friendly. I'll definitely return!

I went in today 10 minutes before closing with my brother, 3 year old daughter, and nephew. I felt bad going in so near closing time, and I'm always nervous with my daughter in coin stores. Typically I can tell most people running coin stores don't appreciate children touching things, and looking around like they do. The guy was awesome. I have never met a friendlier person working in a coin store. Maybe he was the owner, I don't know. I tried my best to make sure my daughter was well behaved, but this guy didn't even seem to notice her. Usually I feel like she gets watched by the workers super close. It was nice because it allowed me to talk a little more with the man, and allow my daughter to reasonably look around herself. The prices were more than fair. In the end even though my purchase was small, I came in right before they closed, and I had children with me I was treated more like a friend than a customer. I've been telling everyone that this was the nicest person I've ever dealt with in a coin store. I honestly can't speak highly enough. I live in Utah, so unfortunately I won't be back much, but if I lived near this store I would solely do business with them. If you live in Boise and you're in the market for coins, jewelry, gold, or silver do yourself a favor, and at the very least check this place out. I was dealing with silver/coins, so I can't exactly speak for the other items, but I imagine they are probably amazing with everything they sell.

These guys were VERY helpful in assisting me with the best way to go about moving some old pieces of inherited jewelry. They told me about various options like selling it directly to them, selling private party, melt value, etc. It was overall a very good experience and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a straight answer or wanting to do business with an honest jeweler. Oh, and they have TONS of amazing old coins on display and for sale.

Have recently gotten into bullion collecting. Rich has been my primary point of contact and I can't say enough good things about him. It was great! I think I worked with Rich or something like that. I came into rosehill and they offered me a price that I thought was too low, until I checked with other shops. Once I came back I got the same price offered to me minus 30 cents do to the drop in gold from the hour I spend wasting checking other shops. I would recommend going there is you are looking to get a fair price on gold. No one is going to give you what a private party would pay so a fair price especially on gold is perfect! ps don't go to gemstate the owner is a very rude. Went there and was more than happy to do business with rosehill after being told to leave.

The store was very clean, and extremely prompt. Friendly service. I was selling 2 canadian maple leafs and I called first and they have me the bebst quote of the four places I called here in boise. They did a cash transaction and it was $28 under spot for .999 1oz gold coins, which isn't bad. Paid cash so I didn't have to stop at the bank. Would highly recommend over Idaho (which wanted so sell at $122 under spot). I would do business here again. Also a wide selection of mining supplies. Jack helped me and he was very fast and friendly!
