I brought two rings to Neil shortly before his closing time on a Friday evening; both rings were misshapen, missing stones and needing to be resized and soldered together. In less than a week, Neil returned to me one whole wedding set, perfectly sized, perfectly fixed with all stones in place, looking newer than the first day I received them. I will recommend this amazing jeweler to everyone I know. He truly made my wedding set look exactly how I always pictured they would.

They have a customer for life in us and hope they receive the local support they so deserve. We were told by a different jewelry store, that we had been with for many years, and where we purchased our wedding rings, that my ring needed to be redesigned since it was "beyond repair". They would be happy to set me up with their designer or we could spend $1000 to have it repaired but they weren't sure it could be done. Didn't buy into that line and decided they've lost our business and started looking for a different jeweler. So glad we did. My Mama passed away in Nov 2019. I inherited her wedding ring that I had been admiring for years and absolutely cherished it. On March 13th 2021, the ring went missing. It had been a little big on me and I was out in the cold hosting Highland Games in Parma. It slipped off my finger at some point during the day and I didn't notice until we were back home late that night. Myself, my kids, my friends and even the Parma PD conducted separate searches of the Old Ft Boise Park in Parma but no one found it. I was completely devastated. Thank God, I had the ring insured and was able to make a claim on it. Neil had done some work on the ring before I lost it and I had one picture of it so, with that limited information, I asked Neil to do his best to re-create my beloved ring. I just got the finished product on May 18th, 2021 and could not be more thrilled. Neil painstakingly designed, cast and mounted the most beautiful piece and filled in some of the hole that the loss of Mama and Mama's ring had created. The last picture below is the original ring, the three other pictures are of Neil's creation. I will go nowhere but Neil Alan Fine Jewelry for all my jewelry needs from now on!!! Thank you Neil. The communication and care you gave me are becoming a lost art in today's world. I brought my mothers wedding set in to get it re-sized and prongs replaced as it is over 60 years old. My mother wore a 4-1/2 and I wear a size 6 ring. The Solitaire band was very worn so there was more work needed than what I orginally estimated. Amazing work and service! I could not be any happier. Best part is it was a 2-day turn around. Hands down the BEST jeweler in the Treasure Valley! I needed a ring that matches my finances gold ring but I'm not a big fan of gold. I went to every jeweler in today including Fred Meyer and Costco but no good options for men that were unique. Neil was the only one with good options that are classic styles and really good prices. My ring ended up being too big and they cleaned & resized for free and only took a few hours! But the most important was that Neil genuinely cares about you finding the right fit, at no point did I feel like I was being "sold" and pressured into something. I've been in sales for 10+ years and these guys are one of a kind. Do yourself a favor and go local with a place that will really take good care of you.

My one of a kind, epically loved and beautiful wedding ring was “ruined” at the shop of a major retailer that said it couldn’t be fixed and whose repair shop wouldn’t take responsibility, that I’d have to replace it. 😱 I took it Neil Alan hoping beyond hope that it could be saved. Larry, the Goldsmith, fixed it! I was beyond ecstatic! My beloved ring was saved, as was the expense I was facing to replace it with something new! And incredibly, I found a ring I loved here too… which I hadn’t quite been able to do at the said major retailer. Of course, I love nothing like my own… anyway, Neil Alan has one of a kind, high quality pieces, and a very talented goldsmith. As well as VERY good pricing! Probably at half of the price of lower quality, chain store prices. I couldn’t be more grateful to have my wedding ring back on my finger and looking beautiful as ever! Shop here first! Love my ring! I had all these diamonds to make a new ring. I asked for a “raised dome shaped wider band;” with the diamonds randomly placed. I requested the diamonds to be flush with the surface of the band, without prongs “Voila” I got exactly what I described; They made the ring I described to them! These guys are the best!!! Main Diamond fell out of my wife’s wedding ring over 10years ago. Haven’t been able to afford to replace it until now. Went to Neil Alan fine jewelry a couple weeks before Christmas and he showed me some loose diamonds that would work great in her ring and within my budget. He really went above and beyond to make it look absolutely amazing and have it completed well before Christmas to help remove some of the stress. This is a great place to do business! I have had them fix and replace diamonds on my wedding band, and they made my ring look better then new! Finding a place you trust to repair something so important can be hard. After my first experience, my husband took me back in to upgrade the diamond in my ring. An hour was all it took them. My husband took me to dinner, and back to get my ring! Just today, I noticed a prong had lifted and was catching things. I went in, expecting to leave it for a little while, and I was in and out in less then 10 minutes! I am so grateful for this place, and will give them my life long business! You should too!

Neil from Neil Alan Fine Jewelry is the absolute best! We bought my wedding set from him and from the minute we walked in we were treated like family. Every time I go in to get my wedding set steamed, he remembers my name. A couple weeks ago I noticed my diamond was missing out of my engagement ring. I called Neil in tears and he tells me to bring it in and not to worry, that he will take care of me. Turns out there was a factory defect in the engagement ring. So Neil not only got me a new engagement ring but also new ring enhancer bands, as the set had been soldered together. He took care of the soldering and all the fees for the new wedding set. I bent my engagement ring and had taken it to another jeweler for repair. The estimate was several hundred dollars to repair. I then took it to Neil and he repaired it in one day for a reasonable price. He was very nice and has earned a new customer. I highly recommend you check out his store. My husband and I went to Neil Alan's jewelry just before Christmas to buy a wedding ring for my husband who had lost his this last summer. Mr. Alan was so helpful in helping my husband find a ring that my husband felt okay about wearing doing a lot garage work. He needed a ring that wouldn't get damaged to easily in the work he was doing. While waiting I asked if they would check out my wedding set, as it sometimes would catch on my hair when I ran my hand through it. They checked it out, which showed to be okay and washed it. After the wash they noticed on my small a band a very small diamond chip was gone. I told them it had fallen out about 2 months before. I asked them if they could remove the small band.The gentleman doing the work, actually was putting in a chip where the one I had lost had been. When they handed it back to me they said Merry Christmas! ! I was fighting back tears of joy !! Neil and his staff are truly thoughtful and the most knowledgeable jeweler's. I took mine and my husbands rings to be rhodium dipped at Neil Alan fine jewelry. I had previously called many other jewelry stores and at each one the rings would have had to be shipped to another site and we wouldn’t get them back for two weeks. Also the price per ring was about $50. I took my rings to Neil and had them back the same day and the cost for both rings was less than what one of them would have been at another jewelry store. I went to the store to have some jewelry repaired. Best experience I have every had. Larry did the repair work on my rings and was so friendly and did a fantastic job. I had a diamond necklace and was told by another jeweler a prong was needing replacement. He looked it over and said it was perfectly fine. The repairs to my rings were done promptly. Even though I was just bringing in jewelry to be repaired,, the owner and staff was so friendly and even answered questions about other jewelry I had questions about. Highly recommend! As a walk in they were able to sauter my wedding ring set, make a repair, and clean the ring to a sparkle so beautiful all within the same day! Just a few hours to be exact. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Neil Alan does provide this service. On top of that, I had an idea to add gold beads and an emerald, ruby and sapphire as accents from a different pearl piece and they were able to add those. The necklace, with the new accents, turned out absolutely beautifully!! I couldn’t be more pleased with the finished product. They were honest, professional and very helpful. Without a doubt some of the best service I’ve ever had, I came in looking to purchase an engagement ring after looking through the box jewelry stores with their terrible service and high prices. I had almost given up hope of finding that perfect ring when I got the chance to talk with Neil, he showed me what to look for when looking at diamonds and walked me through every step of the way. He designed the perfect engagement ring with wedding band after a few revisions and getting to look over a wax mold to be certain that’s what I wanted. I work for a local company here in Nampa, Idaho we have been in business since 1948. We have an incentive program where we have a custom company ring made for our employees for years of service. After our jeweler recently closed their doors it left us looking for a new jeweler. This was a much harder task than we first thought it would be. After trying a place in Star and getting put on the back burner for almost a year we were beginning to think that that was going to be the new “norm” we were very frustrated to say the least. From the first time I walked in the door I was treated with respect. Larry stopped what he was working on and spent time letting me go over everything that we needed in a new jeweler. The next day Neil called me and we set up a time to meet. From that day forward it has been an amazing experience. Customer service seems to be a rarity these days but not with these guys.
