My wife had been here before so she recommended going there to sale my dad's masonic ring I've had for 20 years. I don't wear it and wanted to buy a ukelele for my great niece's and myself. It was very hard to part with it but "Gene" was very compationate about the history of the ring and made sure I wanted to let it go before he made an offer on the ring. The price was more than fair. While they did not have a ukulele at that time, I will always remember his kindness. Great enventory for almost anything you want or need. Thanks again!

I found Delta Pawn by googling closest pawn shop near me. Well a few others popped up but the catchy name got me. I am so glad I went with my instincts on this. We were looking for a wedding band for my husband. We had just gotten married. Well the staff in here are all All amazing. They are wonderful people as well as knowledgeable about their merchandise. I can't say enough about how down to earth, and yet professional, they all are. You need to stop by and see all their goods. It's awesome. And you leave happy. I will go to them for all my jewelry repair as well.

I have been to plenty of pawn shops in my life and they all seem to be the same except this one. The owner is one of the nicest people I've ever met, they treat you like family, and he's not out to rob you. There's no pressure and it's a friendly environment. They are very honest and if he can't give you what you want he will tell tell you "baby, I want you to be happy so if that means trying somewhere else that's fine as long as you're happy but just know we are always here for you because we are family and we are all equal as people." These guys are super friendly, compassionate and sensitive to whatever your situation may be, and they go above and beyond to assist you however they can. Incredible place. Went in last week, told them I was only there to kill time while a relative was at a medical appointment, so he knew I was unlikely to purchase anything. But he spent time with me anyway, chatting, answering questions, introduced me to their beautiful dog. I only wish I'd had more time to spend in the store, there is SO MUCH to find in there! Definitely hope to make it back in, no telling what you might find!

Went to Delta Pawn yesterday to pawn an item because my wife and I needed a little assistance until payday. Was greeted by the sweetest cat, and a great man! The owner is incredibly personable, respectful, and helpful. I have never had such an easy going experience at a pawn shop, and trust me when I say I have been to many. He gave me a great deal for the item I had to pawn, and it didn’t once feel like a business transaction- it felt more like two old friends catching up. First walking into the Delta Pawn shop I was thrilled at the inventory that was there! Unique finds as well as the everyday household or automotive tool. A place that has an array of sculptures and paintings! I left with a holographic poster of Ms. Audrey Hepburn, herself. Although I didn’t find what I was looking for, the staff maintained a positive attitude and encouraged me to drop by again in the future. I trusted the Google reviews and drove out of my way to go to this place. I'm really glad I did because the customer service surpassed most retail stores and restaurants I've ever been to. It was more than I expected and it was really awesome. The bonus to the awesome people working there was the awesome shop cat, Dash, whom I loved on the entire time I spoke with Gene (the owner.) I even got a great deal on the 3 guitars I sold, they had sat in storage for too long for me to consider them anything but junk and I walked out with more in my wallet than I truly expected. Gene really makes sure to give you the best deal. He's got a phenomenal shop, I highly recommend choosing this place for any of your pawning needs- and shop around a bit because you may just find something you'd want. I felt like I did my business in the right place, and felt great after being treated so kindly at the last place you'd consider customer service to be valued.

I was looking for a laptop and I couldn't afford a brand new one so I went on facebook market place and was looking at laptops and started talking to Mr. Kenny the laptop I was looking at he answered all my questions about it and at first I thought I was meeting him to checkout the hp I wanted and when I got the address it was Delta pawn and my husband and I got to meet Mr. Gene and his great staff Mr. Gene was great he let me look at the hp and didn't hover over me just told me if I needed anything to let him know. Have generally avoided pawn shops when shopping around for instruments, etc., because past experience has been that I could get what I was looking for elsewhere, in better condition, for perhaps just a few bucks more. However, Delta actually had an appropriately-priced rarity that I never thought I'd encounter in the Ham. Not only that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The guy (Gene?) was happy to assist in answering any questions I had, and was very accommodating in allowing me to run the item through some tests to ensure that everything was in good working order. Much appreciated!

The Delta Pawn is the place to go to find hidden gems. Gene was super cool, and I found just what I was looking for and more. Lots of high end inventory (fur coats, sterling silver dinner ware, great jewelry selection) Its the definition of the classic throw-back "Ma and Pa" shop that happens to be a pawn shop. I will definitely visit again!

What can I say? Pawn shops these days are hit or miss. I needed some helping selling some jewelry and looked up shops in the Birmingham area. The only 5 star pawn shop was Delta Pawn. I drove down and was greeted by a true, Southern-style welcome. The owner answered my questions while his adorable dog warmed the room with a smile. We drove past on the way to an appointment, and noticed all the wonderful things in the Windows. So we stopped in afterwards. What a treasure trove! There is so much to see! The antiques are amazing and the knowledge of the owner about the items was illuminating. There is so much there that we didn't see it all and we were there at least an hour looking around. The staff is polite, they don't hover but are near enough for you to ask questions when you have them. I will definitely be back in May when my mother visits from NJ, as we were texting that day while I was there regarding patterns and types of China and such that she may be able to pick up pieces that she is missing from her own sets. All in all Delta Pawn is an amazing find!!! Go take a look, I'll bet you'll be add thrilled as I was!

So much more than a pawn shop. Think antique-oddity-music-pawn emporium. The owner, Gene, helped me find some quality jewelery within my (admittedly low) budget.
