I brought my bands in to be put together a little close to the wedding date, and Shane had them done the next day because he wanted to alleviate some of my stress. I called them at 11:00 AM on a Saturday and asked if they could resize my wedding band that day, the nice lady on the phone asked a few questions and then said bring it in and they’d take a look. Was there just after noon. They said they could do it and told me 3.5 hours and a price. I thought it was a good deal. We ran some errands and two hours later I got a call saying it was done. I picked my ring up and was very impressed with the quality of work. It looks great just like the day my wife put it in my finger for the 1st time. They are very professional and do darn good work at a fair price. We will definitely do more business with them and recommend them to our friends.

Shane is absolutely amazing! Me and at the time my soon to be fiancé went to see him knowing we weren't 100% sure what we wanted for her Engagement Ring. After spending some time with Shane looking at all of his options he could make for us, we eventually picked out a beautiful Princess Cut Dimond that he ordered in for us to look at and make sure we liked before we made any commitments, as soon as it arrived (the next day) we went to look at it and I immediately knew it was the one! Shane was amazing to work with to find what we loved that fit my budget and educated us on quality of the Dimond and the differences in quality and prices, which after talking to Shane it was no question on which Dimond to pick out! We then picked a setting that we loved and we couldn't have been happier! In no time at all Shane had the Ring ready for me to pick up! I couldn't be more happy that we made the decision to go to Berkmans and meet with Shane he was amazing the entire time and very patient and educational so that he knew we would pick out what we truly wanted! His service and expertise are top notch! Was very obvious he was there to make sure we received what we truly wanted and would love, rather than just push a big sale! I first met Shane when I had him customize a Montana yogo necklace he had on a Christmas promotion. My wife adores her unique creation. We then stopped by to get his idea on setting new stones in a ring that was my Moms. We had removed the original stones and had them set in my wife's wedding set. Shane reset our Granddaughters birthstones in the ring. ( For her graduation). We are so impressed with the ring. It is beautiful. I stopped by not really knowing what I wanted to do, just knowing I wanted to do something special to my wife’s ring for our 5th wedding anniversary. I had thought about adding a second band to complete it, but didn’t really like the way the first one fit. Shane was able to use the material from the existing band plus some added to make two stunning bands to go on either side of the original engagement ring. It came out perfect. I had a couple of diamond rings that were not being worn. I took them to Shane and asked if we could make these work in another ring. The rest is history. He certainly came through and custom made the most beautiful ring. He also made a bracelet for me that is fantastic as well. Exactly what I wanted. He also added an ashes container for one of my beloved pets to the necklace chain that holds another one of my babies. Shane is absolutely the best jeweler I have dealt with. Shane built my wedding set 16 years ago! It was a design that was unique to us and I loved my wedding set! My mother passed away 3 years ago and I wanted to do something special with her wedding set. When my ring began to show signs of wear, my husband and I decided to incorporate the two rings. We had gone to another jeweler, we were given an estimate that was 30% over what Shane estimated and didn't quite capture the goal we had. I can't even begin to describe the experience at Berkman! I inherited my grandmother's engagement ring when she passed away 20 years ago. She wore it from her proposal in 1935 until it literally broke off her finger, I want to say ~60 years. When I inherited it I took it to a goldsmith and they told me nothing could be done to fix it, and there it sat for another decade. I saw Shane's work online and decided to take it to him and the rest is history. He made my family heirloom truly into a work of art. I took my wedding ring in to Berkman Jewelers to be repaired. To make a long story short, my husband had purchased my wedding ring from another store here in Billings. (To my surprise, After only 6 months of wearing my wedding ring, the entire diamond and setting came completely off, even with delicate care on my end) I wish we would have originally purchased my ring at Berkman Custom Jewelers, as this would have saved us the hassle of going through this scare in the first place. We went in just to have a ring checked to see if any prongs needed to be repaired. Not only did Berkman Jewelers take the time to clean all of my rings (none that I had purchased there), but checked them for missing prongs too. As it happens, he found that my wedding ring needed repairs too! We browsed a little since we had not been in before, and ended up purchasing 3 stackable rings. Shane was very patient and helpful. He set a date when the repairs and the resizing of the rings would be done. The repair was done very quickly and looks great. The date for the new rings to be done happened to be when we were going to be out of town. Shane went above and beyond to see that I got them before I left! I was totally fine with having to wait a few more days, but he didn’t want me to have to wait. I would 100% recommend Berkman Jewelers and Shane especially!

Brought my ring in to have a tips replaced after 30 years. Shane did a wonderful job on my ring; he replace the tips, added little balls inside the band so my ring won’t slip around and wear down faster, smoothed down and polished my ring band so it wasn’t sharp anymore and did an overall clean and polish it so looks just like new. Amazing service. Berkman Jewelers has earned my business. I left a train wreck of hodgepodge items for appraisals for insurance purposes. Seriously, this jumbled mass of accumulated pieces over the years was in NO WAY any sort of collectors pieces or had any value, except to me. And, since my homeowners only covers $1500 in jewelry without an appraisal- I headed in. They made sense of it all; carefully cleaning and assessing each and every jewel in each and every piece as if I’d left the Hope Diamond in their care. I never felt less than or belittled because I certainly do NOT possess anything of extreme value.
