The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. Walking down Light street, I came into the shop the behest of my 8 y/o daughter who just wanted to look at earrings and Mr. T was so kind and patient; showing her several pairs of earrings even while he had other customers to attend to. He even offered her a discount on a beautiful pair of gold & pearl earrings if she planned to use her money and not her Dad's. This is exactly the kind of community experience you cannot get from a online shop. The owner gave me very clear quotes for some work I need done on a few watches, and when I returned with one of those watches, he actually charged me less than originally quoted. He was quick and did great work. Some watches require brand specific tools and presses and not only does he have the equipment, but he's quick to boot. In addition, he gave me some much appreciated advice on homeowners insurance policies versus jewelry specific insurance riders and stand alone policies, as I need to have a valuable watch appraised for insurance. While he's not currently doing certified appraisals for insurers, he can do authentications for high-end watches and is knowledgeable about chronometers in general.

Great shop! I needed a battery replaced on a basic swiss army watch, and the owner was able to take care of it on the spot in just a few minutes. He also diagnosed a small problem he was able to fix with a quick cleaning and took care of that for me. He was very upfront about the possibility of the movement needing more expensive repair, but avoided that cost and time for me. Much appreciated!

Nice shop. Went in to sell a chain and he only offered 40% of what the weight of the gold was worth. Wasn’t expecting market value but I wasn’t expecting only 40%. When I said this to the man working he was a little quick to catch an attitude. Might be worth going somewhere where the rent isn’t as high might get a higher return on your gold

I stopped by to sell an old tag heuer watch I had and he didn’t end up buying it but still did research and called me back to let me know what he found out, which I thought was really nice. And he was really apologetic on the phone that he couldn’t buy it, which he didn’t have any reason to be at all. I had a really good experience even though we didn’t end up getting to do business together in the long run. Great customer service

I highly recommend this place! My boyfriend and I were looking for an engagement ring and we wanted to stay local so we decided to give this place a try. It's a buy and sell type place. Tarek, the owner, was super friendly. He kept behind the counter all the gold rings and he was super patient while he took out all the rings that matched my tastes. I finally decided on a beautiful antique ring which was slightly above our price range. He was awesome to drop the price so we can afford it and even threw in a few services for free. I'm so happy we went there because every time I look at my beautiful ring I'm reminded of the great service and experience we had!
