I don’t think I have ever been in an Antique store like this on any of my travels. They have it all from antique muskets, to the finest jewelry. Everytime I go into the store I find their is always something new that catches my eye. The store owner Walter, has such a vast amount of knowledgeable of all things antiques he can answer every question I throw at him.

This is one of the greatest antique stores in the world! Jewels,art,gold and silver, alaskana, artifacts, specimens, and quality antique firearms! Antique Gallery has it all! Definitely visit this store if you are in Anchorage! Super kind and knowledgeable people work there too!

Oh my gosh this shop was so cool and interesting! The jewelry section was to die for and lady working so accommodating and fun. She knew were window shopping but still took the time to let us play around and see the jewels. And the owner is SO knowledgeable. Knew where everything came from and facts about it. I tried on a $56k sapphire ring! Anyways tons of fun and if you’ve got the money and need some beautiful jewels, this is your place

This store has the coolest selection of olde antique medical equipment. They even have olde pills and even this really cool olde blood letter. The owner is very knowledgeable and was a huge help!

I enjoy going into the Antique Gallery! They have a beautiful selection of jewelry, art, and so much more. I purchased an amazing Saint Laurent coat that I’m completely in love with. Not only is the staff very friendly they are extremely helpful. Definitely will be returning.

Walter the owner is awesome, he always gives a fair price and is willing to answer any questions you might have! His staff is also very knowledgeable but if you go into the store be and sure to talk to Walter hell set you on your way with exactly what your looking for.

Any time I'm in Anchorage I stop here. I've purchased quite a few things over the years. Lately, I just picked up this beautiful 1910 Max Kollm Watercolor "On the Trail". Owner, Walter is a pleasure to deal with and always very friendly. He had this shipped to me in Pennsylvania and was delivered before I even got home! Packaging was done very well and secure. Top notch service and great deals! See ya next time!

I think it rather insightful that the only negative reviews on here are by people who have never bought anything there, but rather are by people who felt they were watched too closely, didn't like the presentation of items, or felt that they were too highly priced. (And one by a scam artist who never returned a genuine Cartier bracelet.) By contrast, the 5 star reviews are by people who have bought things there and, like me, continue to buy from the Antique Gallery. I have bought a wide range of art, animal artifacts and jewelry there, and find the prices and quality to be far superior to anything I can find in the lower 48. I will always come back to Walter, and even more so, consult with him when buying something elsewhere as I consider his expertise and knowledge invaluable as well.

I really hate to review this place because I want to keep it as my little secret, but this is hands down the Best place to shop in all of Anchorage. And Walter, the owner is purely delightful. He can tell you the story behind every piece he has. And...he has the Mona Lisa!

The store has an overwhelming number of fantastic items. I got complete sensory overload each time we walked back into the store .... I could spend hours there and not get bored! My wife and I have done a fair amount of business with them. They are so incredible and such a pleasure to deal with. Walter is a gem, as is the rest of the staff there. My wife has become very friendly with everyone there. There’s a wonderful gal there (I’m embarrassed that her name is escaping me as I write this) that emails and calls us periodically with items she knows are of interest to us. The estate jewelry pieces we’ve bought from them are simply amazing!!! We bought a couple of Harry Winston diamond and ruby pieces that are out of this world. You owe it to yourself to check this place out. We live in Texas, yet a trip to Anchorage just to visit the store is worth it. I can’t say enough .. we are raving fans. Can’t wait to go back. In the meantime, we’ll keep shopping long distance! Thank you, thank you ... you guys are simply terrific!

I went in here to kill some time before heading off to the airport as it was across the street from the hotel where I was staying. I was surprised to find they had a very nice collection of estate jewelry. They were very helpful and courteous. I didnt pull the trigger initially but reached back out from home and service was excellent as they next day shipped an item for no additional cost. I would highly recommend stopping here and checking out the store.

The Antique Gallery is a gem! If you are interested in historical peices from tea sets to paintings, carved ivory to antique firearms there is a treasure trove awaiting you! There is special emphasis on black powder and large bore Cased English Double Rifles. Another is a good selection of 1st generation Colt Single Action pistols. Its better than many museums I have seen, and the items are available for purchase. The staff in the store are very welcoming and leave you to browse yet are ready to answer questions. Highly recommended!

Stopped in the store as a tourist just looking around and found a replacement wedding ring. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING!! I love this place just wish I lived in Alaska to purchase more fabulous items.

There's a lot to see here. Be very careful, much of it is just waiting to trip you or fall down and cost you a serious pretty penny. Lots of genuine artifacts and other cool stuff. We were watched very, very closely but I understand it. There is a huge potential for loss here where by theft, accidental damage etc. The art and sculpture choices were fantastic!

They have an amazing selection in this store , Beautiful pieces , but over priced , this store can have everything sell out quickly if it was a bigger store and items are displayed nicely , they actually have things on the floor , which makes me think why would i pay that much for something sitting on the floor .

More of an overpriced pawn antique shop than a gallery, there doesn't seem to be much interesting antiques asked from the fossils, but there are other places to get them in better quality than here.

I own the owner a good rating! My wife purchased a hand band here on Sept.13, 2022. But later on she changed her mind as she red a bad review. The owner was very nice and gave us a full refund when we requested it. It impressed me a lot. I trust this shop and I will visit it again when I visit Anchorage. Two thumbs up.
