♿ accesible ♿ This shop is pretty nice. 🔴BEWARE🔴 Be careful in this area as there ARE LOTS OF HOMELESS hovering outside the doors. You must ring a doorbell to gain access and they must let you in physically. Not sure if it is because of the type of business this is or a precaution because of stragglers coming into the facility. I came in to get a few Assay Bars of Silver as gifts for this Christmas and I took a few photos for your convenience as well. •Necklaces •Watches •Gold nugget jewelry •Rings •Knives and Ulu's •Coins •ASSAY bars of precious metals THE 2oz. bars of silver that I got were shaped as stars and were 110.00 each. We visited the Alaska Mint a few years ago and I bought a beautiful ring there. Since that time I have bought a medallion and some Christmas ornament medallions , a necklace. A few days ago I bought a ring from them and Mike called to get my ring size. They have always been so nice. Today I received my ring with a gold nugget in it and I absolutely love it. They have things that I can afford all the way up to things I cannot 😀. Everything I have ordered has been wonderful quality and just beautiful!!

Have recently started stacking silver and I came here first to start and I was not disappointed! Great selection of investment grade silver and gold! The staff is amazing, helpful and very friendly! They also have gorgeous jewelry, cool knives and I have to get me one of their medallion watches! Will be making more trips back!

I live in California. I wanted a replacement wedding bands for my husband. I wanted something different, something that nobody else has has. I decided on a raw gold nugget ring. I shopped a lot of jewelers including Alaska. I decided to work with Alaska Mint located in Anchorage. The ring was designed and made by a local man. The price was very good and the quality is superior. I will be buying from this family run business again. Thank you Robuck family.

I visited here a few years ago on a trip across AK. Out of all the jewelry shops I've visited across the US this is my favorite. The selection of fine pieces of jewelry here are amazing. I bought a beautiful ring here for my wife. They also mint coins in Precious metals such as silver and gold. They are truly a peice of art. I look forward to my next trip here.

All the staff at the Alaska Mint are awesome! I came in to get more information and sell some items from my family and Chris taught me a little about them and gave me a fair price. Above all their customer service is great. They have very unique items and great jewelry. I’d make this a stop for sure if you are in Anchorage.

They have A LOT of products. From knives to ornaments to jewelry and coins it can be found here. However, I felt like I was being followed by a staff member. Everywhere I went, they were there telling me about the products. If I have a question, I will find you and ask. I didnt buy anything because of this.

Took my mom there on her last trip on her bucket list. Missed getting to see Mike Robuck as he was out of town but fun bit of trivia is that we played together in a nationwide high school band that toured Europe in 1980 and we played in Carnegie Hall! My Mom got a gold coin necklace that she wore constantly from the time she got it until she passed. Now I have it to remember out trip. Quality jewelry and friendly knowledgeable staff.

As a travel Agent: I was here in the past and it was quite interesting. Plenty of coins and artifacts from Alaska. The kids enjoyed it about 15 years ago. I recently came back in 2013 and everything changed. The staff was snotty and unwilling to help. I asked for certain coins from Idiatrod and was told, not here. They didn't seem to want to try and give any more info. This was a bad experience.
