I moved to DC from Oregon a couple years back and this was the Agency recommended to me, I’m glad I went with them, been working with Len from the beginning. It was my first time buying insurance on my own and she helped set up my auto and home policies, provided me with more insight into Insurance, I’ve learned a lot with her. Bought my first home, she helped insure me and provided quotes for the different homes I was looking at in different areas and now that I’m a small business owner she also guided me and set me up adequately. If you need someone to help insure you, your family, your assets, and who is knowledgeable plus local, Len is the person to go to! Thanks for all your help along the years Len!

Been with this office for 2 years, never had a bad experience at this agency. Len set up all my policies, I highly recommend her to everyone, any questions I’ve had whether about my policies or when I had my claim, she was very patient and thorough in explaining everything and walking me thru. State Farm is a great company but if you’re looking for competent, kind, and local agents this is your go to office! Keep up the good work guys!

I was with Gaico And had a bad experience with them so I chose to go with another insurance provider. I called State Farm The agent was very knowledgeable and very patient in answering all of my questions. I was able to get Higher coverage at a better rate than Geico I am very pleased with Sara Barrientos for helping I definitely recommend her! 🙏🏾

However the great people at the Statefarm's office of Tim LaCasse made this horrific ordeal into a win win situation. With wonderful and caring customer service over the phone and in the office, I was able to file a claim and receive a settlement in a week!! There are several SF agents in/near Capitol Hill, and this location was recommended in a group when I asked. From the initial quote to the execution of our policies, Kameron has been very responsive and patient with my many questions. He keeps his word -- when he says he'll call back or update something on the policy, he does. Sounds like a given, but you'd be surprised at the number of times I've had to follow-up in other cases. Additionally, Kameron knows his stuff - although he doesn't physically live in the area where I'm being serviced, he was very knowledgeable of it having travelled/worked out of there often and could speak to the uniqueness of the area. I haven't yet submitted a claim with them but if it's anything like my experience at another SF office, then I'm confident I'm in good hands. Thanks, Kameron for your time and thoroughness!

The reason I’m giving a negative rating is from an event that happened a year ago. I’m just getting around to writing this review. My basement in Baltimore was flooded and I need to take a claim out. My neighbor’s water main was the cause of the flood in my basement as it broke and flooded both their basement (badly) and mine. My issue is I still had to pay a $2000 deductible for damage caused by a faulty pipe of my neighbors. I was concerned about this and I truly did not want to incur this expense. I stated my case to State Farm. They were respectful and punctual with responding to me during this process. That I’m not giving a one star. However, the reason I am leaving this negative review is because State Farm failed to recover my $2000 deductible from my neighbor’s insurance company, or waive it. I simply received an email one day that stated they lost the case for my $2000 and that was the end of it. I’d like to add, that if this is a failure on State Farm at large and not solely this DC outlet, feel free to respond and clarify that. I’ve been a customer for 6+ years with this office. Break break After leaving a negative review originally, Tim personally reached out and walked me through this whole process. Ultimately I couldn’t get the $2,000 back because there was no negligence on the part of my neighbor, just old plumbing in Baltimore. It was a show of good faith and customer service for Tim to reach out personally. I’m old school and that goes a long way.

Note: this review has been edited from 1 to 4 stars. Tim called me after returning from vacation and profusely apologized for the situation. He seems like a great guy and I genuinely felt that he valued my business and wanted to make things right. Bad employees come and go; at the end of the day I can only fault the company by the ultimate response of the ownership. Tim handled things well. After seeing other reviews, it's clear that disrespectful staff is an accepted norm in this office. I run a small business and prior to this worked years in the service industry and I cannot even fathom speaking to a client, or even just a stranger, in the nature I was just spoken to. I wish I'd gotten the woman's name but I was so blown away I just had to hang up the phone and cry. I was trying to understand a letter I'd received from "corporate headquarters." I'd just purchased a home 3 months ago, am am a first time home owner and I simply had no idea how to handle the particular situation and needed some basic guidance. What I got was pretty much an "f you." Unless you like being verbally bullied and abused, do yourself a favor and avoid this company.

Whenever you have a question regarding your policy State Farm will handle it masterly and in timely manner . Whether it was setting up a renters or life policy , my needs were at most importance to the agent and his staff. Also the office is super cute if you get through the steps.

So far I am satisfied, a bit pricey but very fast to route you for your car repairs. I have the bad luck of always getting my cars punched while I am in parking lot shopping or even parked in my apartment community. Sorry but I am not driving my car with fenders , door dents side swiping. They were fast to pay my car repair.
