So far so good. Jason (installer) was outstanding. Chase (Sales) was exemplary.v Here is a pic of our side yard camera. Quality is great. However, the biggest asset AAA has is their people. The patience Chase had with me was outstanding. He answered all of my many questions. Jason additional provided info on functionality of everything + the app. The whole experience has been great.

Joe was the most wonderful technician I have ever had for anything that involved electronics. He was very patient with an old lady who is technically challenged. He had a knack for explaining things in a way to make them seem simple. He was very nice, courteous, friendly and I felt very comfortable having him in my house. We had Wes install our AAA Smart Home today. We couldn't have been more pleased. He arrived ahead of schedule, looked to see what our needs were and began work immediately. He was very considerate and professional, wearing a mask and booties (floor protectors) the entire time he was here. After the installation, he walked us through the new thermostats and the keypads. We would certainly give him 5 stars for his service today.

Recently got my home secured with A3 Smart Home. Philippe, Brandon and Jason, were the technicians that came in and from start to end, they were very professional and personable. I was very happy with the work they did in explaining where the best place to set up our system based on our house configuration. They also helped get rid of the old security system wiring which was a mess. Extremely happy with how the work was done so far.

AMAZING! i can’t say anymore about the installation. Doug and Billy gave me a call and let me know their ETA so I knew how far they were. They came in and were very professional throughout our conversation. They walked the house with me and I gave them my input and they helped me with their professional advice as well. Equipment is a big step forward. The control panel is great and easy to use. Installation was very easy and quick by the AAA installers. Sam (primary installer) was excellent to work with... We switched from ADT because it was impossible to get through to anyone, either when we had a problem or when we called several times over a year and a half and asked to have someone quote us a new upgraded system.

Definitely recommend AAA Smart Home for your home security needs. Sam upgraded our system and took the time to thoroughly explain all of the alarm features and the phone app (which is very convenient to arm/disarm the system from anywhere). He seemed genuinely interested in making our home as safe as possible, rather than trying to push products that didnt suit our needs. Great customer service. Thank you!

Edited 12/16/22. I was finally contacted by a technician this week and today they fixed the system. Chris and Brent came by and replaced the auxiliary panel. They determined what the problem was (loss of communication through wifi) and put in a different panel at no charge to me. They were very apologetic about my experience with the customer service representative. I'm very pleased that they fixed the problem. Stay away from AAA Smart Home. Terrible customer service. We had been customers of Safeguard since 1993 and then AAA Smart Home bought them out. In 2021 we upgraded the system per their recommendation because of the older cellular technology of the current system. We installed a main panel by the front door and an auxiliary panel by the garage door. We have had problems with the garage panel since the beginning. It continually loses communication with the main panel. They eventually replaced that panel and it worked for awhile. It has since lost communication and AAA states it is now out of warranty. We have spent over an hour on the phone with tech support to try to reset the panel. It will work for a day and then loses the connection. I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor about the issue and was told I can work with tech support or pay for a new panel and service call. When an alarm is triggered AAA will send a text and then call us. There have been times where we were unable to reply to the text or call and AAA takes no further action. What is the point of having a monitored system if the company doesn't notify the police? What if it had been an actual emergency and not a false alarm? I'm beyond frustrated with AAA and I'm interviewing other companies to take their place.

Jack Huddleston Came to my home to fix my security system and did an incredible job. He was able to locate the problem immediately and fix it . He is also very pleasant and knows what he’s doing I give him a five star rating. However when I had work with technical support for two days I was not happy with my response quite frankly I don’t think they knew what they were doing but when Jack came he fixed it immediately and my hats off to him! We also now have become friends!

My partner and I moved into a new house in Tracy and scheduled AAA Smart Home to install a new security system. Raj and Ezra came first thing in the morning and walked us through the entire process. This is our first alarm system experience and they were very patient as we asked a lot of questions. After they installed everything, they showed us how the system worked and even set up our phones and iPads. They were both so personable and wanted to make sure we were comfortable with the process before we left. Raj also said if I have any questions to call him on his cell anytime. I called him today as I couldn’t figure something out and he fixed it for me. I am going to recommend AAA Home Security for anyone who needs it. More importantly, I will recommend both Raj and Ezra to do the installation. 5 STAR SERVICE!

Sydney was great! He was able to install my doorbell camera at a different location from my original doorbell location. The original location didn’t give me any use for the camera. He also suggested where to install the second camera where it would give me the best coverage. Sydney had to sell and install a router since the original salesperson missed that piece of the installation process.

I had installers, Philippe and Greg, replace our existing alarm with AAA Smart Home products. Both installers were professional and took the time to go over where their products would be located and explain the benefits of each one. Another plus for me is having local technicians that can actually service the system if needed. Our former alarm was all DIY but the price for basic monitoring was $24 a month higher than AAA. So the winning points for me was having Philippe and Greg as our installers, saving $$, and getting an updated system.

Outstanding work and customer service! Very pleased with the professional installation and instructions on how to use everything. I would highly recommend AAA for all your alarm needs. HOWEVER... I did have a service related problem when trying to call the 24x7 call center to check on the system alert notification. I called over 5 times, and was hung up on once, with several dropped calls after trying to reach the appropriate department from the recorded phone tree options. Finally on the 6th call I was able to make contact with the appropriate dept/team to handle my inquiry, which they did handle my concerns completely.

We had to upgrade security and use AAA SmartHome. They have done our monitoring for some time on the old system, always good. I had concerns given the entire system had to move to 5G - upgrades always go smoothly, right? From sales associate to install could not have been better. Frankly, very pleasantly surprised, they delivered across the board. Our sales person Kyle was excellent and clear and made an effort to save us some money. Totally fair in the whole process. Wes, our installer in particular was efficient, professional, very knowledgeable about the products and technical issues, friendly and really hardworking. This was not an easy upgrade and took several hours, but he did it seamlessly. Cleaned up completely, no damage to any windows or doors, completely impressive technician. Communication with us from sales through appointment setup excellent. And, what a novelty, they said they would arrive at 8 am on install day and they did - exactly on time with a phone call in advance letting us know they were in the way. Very happy with the new technology and working well. Highly recommend!

Josh Smith and Jack came out and fixed us up with a full smart home! We love it!! We are able to control our doors including our garage door! The camera quality is excellent! AAA let us Finance the equipment for 36 months with no interest and they have the lowest monitoring rate in town! As the guys stated this is the AAA WAY!

ONE APP, ONE SYSTEM! Amazing system that allows for security, FULL Home Automation, and even environmental HVAC control, whether I'm here or 3K miles away! Lights, Cameras, and even remotely controlling access to the front door or the garage door! Sleek control panel with another remote upstairs. Phone app works great! Previously with ADT, ATT, Brinks, tried Vivint, but no one could do it all in ONE APP, ONE SYSTEM!Really happy with our choice to go with AAA Home Smart.

Had a great experience with Raj, Ezra and Joshua. They installed a security system in my home and did a great job! They went over the system with me to make sure I understand everything. I purchased a video doorbell the doorbells view was obstructed by a column in my front yard, Raj installed a plate that angles the doorbell so the view isn’t obstructed. Also, found out our house isn’t wired to have a doorbell he also installed a chime for the doorbell and we are so thankful for the 3 of them!

Technically the Smart Home residential security system was installed without a flaw. The installers were quick to put it in, check it out, and ensure I understood it...well, most of it anyway. After they left I realized they had not given me a master code to get into my control box where I intended to set up my own codes. I tried what I thought I saw the installer did, but that set off the alarm. And the internal siren is really loud and annoying. Fortunately I got quick customer support on the phone and the customer service guy gave me the temporary code I needed. On top of forgetting to give me the master code, they forgot to replace my attic cover after installing a sensor in the attic. And they did not clear out and remove the old sensors that they replaced to put in the Smart Horme. There is an old adage, "The work is not done until the job site is tidied up." The A3 Smart Home installers should heed that.

I like to say that I really do like the AAA smart home system, I like that you have the option of self-install which I did. It's a reasonable price and it gives you discounts for your renters and homeowners insurance which I happen to also have AAA. I really liked my sales rep her name was Paula. She was fantastic because I didn't feel like she was trying to sell me anything I was just calling to inquire and get information about it and she was very down to earth and I appreciate it all of her explanations. I came to determine for myself that this would be a great system for my home. Paula also followed up with me via email and when I had trouble getting through to technical support she emailed me a copy of the manual which was really nice. Everything got set up very quickly in the alarm was activated within less than 24 hours of self installation. I would definitely give this company five stars but my issue is that they don't allow you to use your own IP cameras on the system. You are forced to buy cameras from alarm.com and they are very pricey. I feel that they should allow third-party cameras so that you can see all of the cameras in one app instead of going to like 10 different apps. Other than that I'm very satisfied. I also like the app on your phone that comes with it.

I loved the fact that you could build your own package based on your personal needs rather than having to accept a standard pre-built package. Everything was pretty well; I did an add on my to my order and got lost in the System. After about five calls and Several conversations, it was worked out. New home security system, garage door openers, smart thermostat, and doorbell. The monthly charge for services is better than ADT, as I call them a creeper company, they keep raising prices every couple of months, and before you know it, it's expensive. AAA said they don't do that, and we will see; I hope not, as I will Pull the exit cord on them. I also appreciate that they were driving American-made Ford Transit vans. Japan buys no American-made cars.

The installer was very smart I think his name was Tom or Thomas He was polite on time everything you would expect in a professional company. He knew what he was doing and made it all work well. The only thing I wish is you give an owner's manual that is in print for the basics Of how the thing works. That's not an installer problem that's a corporate problem saving a few pennies on paper

We originally had an appointment for April 20th between 11:00am - 1:00pm our our work order was 00007048 but it was a no show. When I call an hour in a half later I was told that we were on a call list (but we weren’t call) to tell us we needed to reschedule. We weren’t very happy with the customer service. Today 4/30/2021) we had Jack come to our home to set us up with a new security panel. He was very pleasant, professional, answering all our questions and concerns. So I feel like this high review is mainly because of the fantastic installer that we had that came to our home to hook up our security system. His name was Patrick Ivey. He was super knowledgeable about how to hook up the system, very efficient and knew what needed to be done in order to have everything up and running properly. He was unable to set up the backyard camera on his first trip out due to some drilling and etc that he couldn’t pet AAA’s red tape BUT he was nice enough to write up a detailed note for what was needed for the person I hired to do the job so that he could come back and hook up the camera. He totally went above and beyond to help, which is rare. Without this experience- AAA would have been getting a very different review from me today

Alarm Upgrade My home alarm system required an upgrade to use the 5G network. Ruddie came out to do the job. He re-wired the main system panel, installed a primary keypad and two alternate keypads, replaced a remote sensor, tested all opening windows and outside doors, and patiently explained the system operation to me and my wife! The doorbell camera volume is not loud enough coming out of a Samsung phone. Sounds fine on a Apple phone. They let me know that this issue has been seen before, so be aware this problem may exist for you if you use an Android.

When I purchased my new home this year I immediately started to research home security and was really looking for a self install due to COVID. AAA Smart Home kept coming up here in the Bay Area and I decided to give them a call to see what my options were. The sales team was very helpful with exploring all my options, I ended up with a fairly basic setup since I already had some other cameras and just wanted door sensors and system monitoring. They had me walk around my house to name every single door and window as they told me the self install kit would come pre programed and labeled. A few days later a very organized self install kit arrived at my doorstep and I began the install. The guide was very helpful and install help is just a phone call away (I did have to call about a voltage question regarding the panel, NOTE: It MUST be plugged in to the wall using the provided transformer). Once I completed the install including the flood sensors, glass break sensors and a smoke detector I called back to activate and test the alarm and both went very smooth. The panel is very user friendly and uses the android operating system. What I am most impressed with is the App, Smart Home has developed a stellar app that uses Face ID for security and allows me to Arm/Disarm the system right from my iPhone. It also shows a "highlight" reel with all the actions for the system throughout the day. I feel very secure with AAA smart home watching over my family 24/7, I highly recommend giving them a look when considering a home security system.

I had my system upgraded, part of it is not working properly, which is causing one of my zones to alarm about every hour. I had to have it put in test mode until a tech can come out. Still waiting for them to call to schedule. In the meantime, the delay entry will not work while the zone in test mode is going off, so when I open my front door, the alarm goes off immediately and the company then calls me and it's labeled a false alarm. Beyond frustrated. Follow up: an experienced and knowledgeable tech finally came out and quickly did a repair that fixed the mwlfunctions.

When the installers came to my house in the Bay Area California, they were polite and efficient in their work. During COVID-19, they wore masks, gloves, and shoe coverings which I thought was good. The alarm system and pricing is very good and worked my my previous equipment except for the security panel which was way nicer then ADT. But the billing dept and support is lackluster. They still dont send monthly emails for billing and have to manually check. There website billing needs some user improvements too. Last time I complained about this they sent me a paper invoice. Uggh Update, the online billing has improved significantly as well as the support.

AAA took over my Guardian Security coverage and was upgrading my panel and offered to add some items I had wanted for a while, specifically a doorbell camera and two cameras in the back yard. The technicians were very informative and offered advice on placement, as well as where it would be difficult to install/operate due to the construction of my home. The installation went well and they provided patient training on the new panel and how to access the camera videos. AAA has called a couple of times to inquire if I had any problems or need additional education on my system. So far, it is pretty intuitive and working well. Oh, and did I mention, my monthly bill will be going down to below what I had been paying, substantially, once the cameras are paid for. All in all, I am thrilled with the relative inexpensive upgrade I got with AAA!

After two calls with A3 customer service and one with the security company they had taken over, I got a result to my problem which was about being double billed, in a transition from a different company to AAA Smart Home. I was given a rote and inaccurate answer by the first person at A3, and told to resolve my problem with the original company (that could not help me).
