The lowest premiums and the best service! Several years ago, I decided it was time to check around to see if we could get lower rates on our homeowners and auto insurance. I contacted two independent agents and one brand-name insurance company. I was shocked at the price range for the same coverage. Jason Brofford at Detweiller-Brofford Insurance checked with different companies to get us the best deal, and the insurance he found for us was $1000 cheaper. We accepted pretty quickly! Every year when it’s time to renew, Jason again looks around to find us the lowest price for coverage. This year, our policies are with Erie Insurance, top-rated for homeowners Insurance in the August 2017 issue of Consumer Reports magazine. In addition to saving us money big time, we’ve been happy with Detweiller’s customer service. Emails are answered promptly and a human being picks up the phone. Jason, Zach — everyone in the office — is professional and super nice.

I came to Zach with virtually no time left when looking for my car insurance, and not only did he hide his annoyance very well as I would have been annoyed with my own self but he was helpful, courtesy and spent a ton of time explaining the differences in my Gieco coverage and the coverage he was able to place for me! I walked away paying 1/2 as much for higher limits and the same deductible for an Erie policy and a ton of peace of mind! He also helped assist me in the early stages of looking for home owners insurance, to which we will be contacting about again soon!!! I've not only referred the agency multiple times, but it made me appreciate the value of an independent agent much more!
