I am a 20+ year customer of State Farm. The majority of that time has been car insurance. I did have a wonderful experience with the loan department. It was for a large purchase on a boat, and it was made so easy. Car claims are settled quickly and glass service is even faster. I did have a flood, I had a line bust in my house and Larry Lucas himself called at 1 AM to see if I needed help moving my family to a hotel room. This is the kind of service you won’t get with discount insurance. I have recently decided to move my retirement investments over to State Farm. When you think retirement investments you think about Edward Jones or Merrill Lynch but chances are your best options are right here in town with a local agent. Although State Farm is my company I very rarely refer to it as anything more than I need to call Larry and my family knows what I’m talking about. It truly is the best of both worlds. You get big box strategy with Hometown personal service. Call State Farm to take it one step further and call Larry. You won’t be disappointed. Best wishes Jeff &Jessica Marshall

I texted my agent, Larry Lucas, regarding an urgent matter, asking him to simply call as soon as he could. I received a call one minute later. Although he was commuting to his office, Larry had immediately pulled over to the side of the road and called me back. His concern was genuine, his professionalism was evident, and his answers helped me to address the issue immediately. Upon arriving at his office, Larry called with more helpful details, and also to make sure I had everything I needed. It was obvious he cared, and I felt much better knowing he was in my corner!

I was having difficulty securing coverage from an insurance company for a fender bender that was not my fault. Larry suggested looking for security cameras that might give some insight. Through the cameras I was able to make contact with an individual who witnessed the accident. The insurance company then certified full coverage for my repairs. By the way, the witness turned out to be an attorney!!! Thanks to Larry for being so prompt and helpful in this issue.

Larry and his staff are great. I have been with them for a few years now, and have never had a negative experience. Phone is always answered in a timely manner, and always someone friendly on the other end, ready to help. When you buy insurance, you are really buying peace of mind, and part of that is the group of people you have to deal with in the event you do need to use your policies.
