We always love the ice cream at Papa’s and their variety of cone flavors. This time we tried the Extreme Shake. It was big enough for two kids to split, but I saw a lot of adults eating one by themselves. Such a unique dessert item, and many options to choose from!

This is THE place for ultimate shakes and ice-cream concoctions, the flavors of the ice cream are so good! They have so many different add-ins and the cereal bar is really fun! It has a cute interior too, a fun place for kids and adults.

More than cool looking shakes. Several all beef hot dogs with various topping priced right. Relax with your ice cream in game room which has several available games. Gets full quickly may want to consider going on off times

Normally I give a higher rating. But today I wanted more than just the delicious ice cream. I wanted a gourmet hot dog to go with my root beer float #nationalrootbeerfloatday! Unfortunately, we got 3 different hot dogs to try. But at about 6:30p on a Saturday evening, it sadly took about 20-30 min to get 3 hot dogs, one coming out about every 10 minutes. The first was decent, maybe just a little undercooked. But the last one we got, tasted like it hadn't cooked all the way through, was room temp at best (in an air conditioned room), and it had a dill pickle spear on it that was almost frozen it was so cold compared to the other toppings. There are better hot dogs at Freddy's and or Dog N Shake. Lesson learned. *Edit* In response cause I can't figure out how to reply. I did ask the staff if the hot dog was usually so cold, and they kind of just brushed me off and didn't offer to remake it, so I didn't pursue it.

They have a lot to choose from, multiple kinds of shakes, including cereal shakes, a ton of waffle cones in various flavors to choose from, as well. I had the Caramel Cheesecake shake and it was phenomenal. I will definitely be back to try more.

I love this ice cream shop. But they don't just stop with ice cream. They have an array of different coffees and drinks that they make. They also have a cereal bar!!!!!!!!! I'm not even a fan of cereal but it's so cool to look at all the cereals that you used to eat as a kid. Upstairs, you will find the merch. Tons of socks and magnets!!! There's board games to play if you want to hang out. I love the vintage motif. This place is a must stop.

If you know me, you know that I love ice cream. Heading here our first night in Wichita we were delighted to see a line out the door. Always a good sign with local shops! Cute little shop in the U-shaped “strip mall”. Lots of flavors, all delicious. Fun dipped cones, friendly smiling service, and even ICE CREAM NACHOS!!! They take broken bits of cones and create a pile of “nachos”. Highly recommend for anyone looking for some tasty frozen stuff.

So good! My first time, there was more seating upstairs. The ladies were so kind. Leave the cups on the counter that's by the stairs. Definitely coming again!

This place is amazing 🤩. I highly recommend it. It was my first time there. I took the recommendation of the worker’s there. A red raspberry, white chocolate, truffle ice cream scoop in a coconut cone. I think this place deserves more than 5 star’s. I didn’t sample anything..Just took the advice of the two lovely ladies working there. I will be back for sure. Bringing my daughter’s&grandkids.

I love the mega milkshakes my two favorite are dinosaur rawr and confetti cake blast. The shop is very clean and organized, upstairs there are more tables and games to play while eating your cold treat. They also have many socks you can buy for $10.99 for 1 or $18 for 2.

This is a great place for the whole family. You can grab a drink or an ice cream and head upstairs to play your favorite board game. The place looks pretty cozy and great for studying/working. The place is obviously very small, so if crowded it could get very uncomfortable. The parking is very limited around this place.

Ice cream lovers, I have found your next spot to treat that sweet tooth. They have so many crazy mixtures of flavors, sweets and CEREALS. Did I mention they have a cereal bar? I got a cinnamon toast crunch love shake, and it was delicious!! Would definitely get again. Though I also want to try their mermaid shake!! 🧜‍♀️ Come check them out!

Cute little coffee and classic milkshake shop, featuring a fun sock novelty store in the upstairs area. The seating is designed like you’re going to papa’s cabin, very inviting and cozy. Needing something a little more classic? Why not sit at the milkshake counter and watch some classic black and white cartoons. My favorite part was getting my dogs face printed onto the top of my coffee! They offer this service for free. The barista was exceptional!

I finally stopped in here after seeing all the hot cocoa bombs on Facebook. It’s so cute! There’s plenty of outdoor seating on which looks like a brand new patio our front. We walked inside and there so many menu options including pop tart ice cream sandwiches?! Too bad we just ate or we could have gotten more. I settled on a vanilla ice cream with sprinkle and added some Trix cereal. They had so many different types of cereal you can add to milkshakes!! The staff was friendly too. Then we went upstairs and played games for about an hour! We were sad that we had to leave and we definitely want to come back. The ice cream itself was just okay, but they have soooo many mix ins to make it taste better! Edit: okay I went back and this time got a vanilla milkshake with the Trix in it. OHHHMYYYYGODDDDDDD that was so good. Some of the cereal didn’t blend so at the end I had big chunks soaked in ice cream. I wanted to cry because of how good it was. Then we went back again the next day and got the pop tart ice cream sandwiches!!! I’m not even kidding, that was the best dessert I’ve ever had! I got the cherry pop tart with rainbow sprinkles, marshmallows and cherry drizzle. My husband got one on the menu and also loved it!!

The last working did a wonderful job of explaining the way everything worked and was so helpful when having questions, the game room upstairs is super cheep and so cool! The socks are cool too. Iced Coffee is very yummy and the Ice cream is just as good! Highly recommended!!

I tried to like this place but it’s a little touristy more than anything. They don’t make the ice cream, they just put it in cool cones or make really cool shakes out of it, for a price. Parking is difficult. And there’s no water. A good ice cream shop has ice cold water somewhere as ice cream makes you thirsty. Asked for a cup and got the smallest cup of room temp water you’ve ever seen lol. Couldn’t find the prices for cones either. Much room for improvement here. Staff was great.

In the heart of College Hill's Clifton Square - This spot is such a throw-back in time to the novelty ice cream shop - from the exterior to the interior. Creative treats make it difficult to make a decision, so don't go alone! Get an extra spoon and dive into each other's delectable! Beats the chain style frozen tasties! It's a fun place to hang out regardless of your age! Huge deck with lots of seating. Check out their upstairs for unique novelty gifts! Support local!

Daughter loves here because the ice cream is amazing. So many types of cones. Unfortunately I am only giving 3 stars because they don't have any dairy free ice cream or sorbet. As someone who is dairy intolerant there is no where to get ice cream or sorbet. Ended up ordering an iced dairy free latte which took 20 mins to come out so I ended up watching everyone eat ice cream and by the time they had finished my drink finally arrived. Please at least have 1 dairy free option in the ice cream section. Edited due to owner reply. When I asked if they had any dairy free options when in store I was told they didn't have any. Owner states on reply they have a dairy free gelato. This is not advertised in store or obvious and staff didn't tell me. Would be helpful if it is advertised and staff tell people when looking for dairy free.

Excellent shakes for those who want something extravagant. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the price and the hipster atmosphere. Quite frankly the staff look very unhygienic and it made me uncomfortable that they were allowed to handle other people's food.

Honestly not that great. All garnishes were stale and nasty. Shake was not as described. They were definitely cutting corners. I would of rather gone to braums or freddy's and paid the same price for a burger, fries, and a shake.

Agree with others - cute place, many varieties of ice cream and toppings, nice staff. I especially liked the cone choices - they had about 10 different flavors of cone. I had a cinnamon and brown sugar cone with salted caramel ice cream. Yum!

Absolutely one of my favorite places in Wichita. The novelty alone is worth it. Plenty of little trinkets, bottled root beer, and nifty gifts. The cereal shakes are the best and the Lotus Drinks are my go to caffeine fix. Upstairs has lots of board games, funny socks, and more cute gifts. The ultimate shakes are some of the coolest things I've ever seen and price is extremely fair.

Great variety of ice cream, reasonably priced, concept and atmosphere are a little different but that's not a big deal for me. Regardless, it is a great place to come hang out with friends and meet. Great place to stop by after dinner or after a cup of tea at one of the surrounding Clifton Square Shops. There are games upstairs and it is always fun to go play a few games while eating ice cream.

This place was amazing! Reasonable prices. The ice cream was rich and smooth like gelato. I had sea salt Carmel in a coconut cone. Delicious! Super friendly service and very patient with my friend who has a lot of food sensitivities. She was even able to find something with their vegan ice cream and almond milk for a shake.

Papa's a great stop for a ice cream treat, Hot Dog or fun novelty gift...the ice cream choices are great with every cereal topping you could every imagine! Super friendly staff with seating on the main level, upstairs or on the beautiful deck. Open 7 days a week until at least 9pm.

I ordered 2 shakes, the peanut butter cup and the Oreo. Neither of them were thick they tasted good but were runny. The bonus was the game room upstairs. We got our shakes and went upstairs to the game room where we enjoyed a game of dice. When you get upstairs you will notice the wall are covered with socks and magnets for sale.

We love making a trek to Papa’s at least once a week! They have a wide assortment of ice cream, cereal, coffee, and other beverages. My other half and I are both vegan and they’re very accommodating. They have vegan gelato, vegan hot dogs, and most of the coffee drinks can be made vegan as well. This little gem has friendly staff and character that the chains just can’t compete with. So glad to have Papa’s in our community.

We tried Papas General for the first time today. I was impressed with the shakes that we got and so even more impressed with the customer service we received. I had ordered it as a DoorDash pickup and once I brought it back to the car my wife immediately smelled cinnamon in her coffee. She is allergic to cinnamon so I took it back in and noticed the menu inside lists cinnamon in the coffee but DoorDash doesn’t. I asked them if they could make another coffee without cinnamon and offered to pay for a new one. They immediately took the old coffee, made another one without cinnamon and would not let me pay for the replacement. We all loved what we got and the amazing customer service definitely will make me come back again!

It got really busy when I arrived around 8 pm on a Monday. The gal working was doing her best to keep up and let me know it'll be a minute when I came in. I looked around the store while I waited, it's a quirky gift shop. The ice cream is Blue Bunny so it's nothing special but they had some really cool specialty floats with flavored sodas like cookie dough and cotton candy and their affogato shakes sounded delish! I'll be back to try out the coffee and maybe to hangout on the porch. I hope they're able to staff up for the rushes soon.

Use to be an ice cream only place, but now has many other things. Had dessert here and is still just as good as it use to be. Hopefully it will continue to stay in business. Staff is helpful and friendly. Nice area of town in the middle of Clifton Square.

Staff didn't seem to know very much about the menu. They also didn't seem excited to be working there. Overall I think the prices were a little higher than normal but it was a fun different treat .. Probably won't go again though . Customer service speaks volume and the lack of it turned me off .

I am so glad I found papas, IM IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE ! I took my husband on a little date here & man the ice cream was so filling especially with our little shots of liquor in there. 🤞🏽 I don’t like ice cream at all but I love this place and their ice cream extravaganzas are just amazing ! Take your kids they have a whole upstairs just for kids with games and coloring stuff. They have cool stickers and nick jacks ❤️ & relax my son was eating the foam placed on top of the ice cream not the actual ice cream filled with liquor 😊
