Awesome Frozen Custard and there are so many flavors you'll find it hard to decide. The best thing also is that if there's a line someone comes out to take your order so you don't have to wait when you get to the window. Furthermore you can create your own flavor and mix of custard and they have coffee and slushies as well! Service is great and so are the hours of business! It's also easy to find. Definitely one of my favorite places to go for custard!!

I have been to many frozen custard businesses around the St. Louis area and I will say Skeeters definitely has the smoothest custard and was most generous with their toppings. They were not over crowded like others and they were extremely efficient despite only being 3 employees(that I could see at least). I've waited much longer at big chains for a worse product and I don't think I will be making that mistake again. Skeeters will be my new go to.

Stop in at Skeeter's Frozen Custard it is well worth the drive. It's in a safe neighborhood and is a mom and pop company. The custard is delicious. I really love the Skurtle and the banana split. The staff is fast and friendly.

Stumbled upon this place after hitting up three, yes three, McDondald’s drive-thru’s with my kids only to find out they were out of ice cream. Skeeters was great. Custard was silky smooth and they added a ton of mix-ins. Not the cheapest place, but the custard was great!

I am new to the Skeeter's tradition as my boyfriend and I just moved to the area last fall, but this custard shop was such a blessing to have nearby. From what I've seen so far, there are few crowds like you would see at Ted Drewe's, but the quality is just as good. The fact that they are open year-round is also convenient for those cold-as-heck nights where you NEED some frozen custard. The best thing on the menu I have had so far is the chocolate suicide sundae. If you like chocolate, you will NOT be disappointed.

This place is a small frozen custard shope, usually only people from overland know about it. I grew up on this place it is historical to me. Sugar free options. dogs are welcome, the owner loves dogs and has a small vanilla cone with a dog treat in it. Prices are ok.

One of our favorites! We live very close which is good but dangerous because soooooo delicious. Usually get a concrete and I think just as good as Ted Drew's if not better. It is a little expensive especially for our large family when we all go but so worth it:)

Love it. The concretes are always great; my personal goal is not to eat the same one twice, though I did with the pumpkin concrete...with cheesecake. Mmm. They've got a huge, solid roster of concretes, plus seasonal ones and others that get created just because (the new cake and brownie batter ones are sheer genius). Clearly, I lean toward the concretes; they also have sundaes, dips, yogurt, sugar free ice cream, drumsticks, and a really nice range of cones and sizes. The baby cone actually comes in a teeny tiny cone, rather than putting a little dab of custard in an adult size one. Small details, but they make life nicer. Also, there's a patio in front and chairs/benches in back to sit on while enjoying your custard.

I know that St. Louis is kind of a 'Ted Drewe's' town, but I would place Skeeters right there along side it (I wonder why there isn't at least one more location?). The variety of menu items available, coupled with their high quality, is enough to bring one back for a number of visits. Although it's not exactly conveniently located, it is DEFINITELY worth the trip. Highly recommended.

Skeeters is a locally owned custard shop. I love to stop by for a tasty treat regardless of the weather. Its a lil stand with a nice size parking lot and a couple of outdoor tables to eat at. They also have a drive through. They have LOTS of different custard treats. Huge variety of sundaes and concretes on the menu. My favorite menu item is the strawberry shake. In the summer I like to stop here on my way to the Muny and grab a shake for an early dinner. Their shake is a good thickness and has fresh blended strawberries in it. What sets Skeeters apart from the competition is the straw! Its an extra wide straw! The strawberries even came through it with no problem!!! I'm always delightfully surprised and super impressed with this detail. Recently I've wanted something a bit smaller but still a treat. My go to is the small strawberry sundae, add hot fudge. It hits the spot!!! Note that I received a gift certificate for here as a gift over the holidays. However the certificate was for $20 and says you must spend it all at once, no money back. I spoke to the manager on my last visit to ask if there was anything else we can do as it would be hard for me to spend $20 in one visit due to their reasonable pricing. She broke it down into smaller $5 values for me which was awesome! I really appreciated her finding a solution and making it happen.
