Great little ice cream shop. Many different kinds of ice creams to pick from and many different was to eat it… On a stick, in a cone, in a cup or between two cookies. 😂 And they have all kinds of cookies you can pick to create your own ice cream sandwich. My son and I chose the ice cream sandwich’s which we both really enjoyed. My wife had a sundae with waffle cones around the boarders. She said it was really good. But I don’t know because she wouldn’t let me take a bite 😂 It’s a great stop on a warm day out or just a wonderfully tasty treat anytime.

Welcoming service, delicious ice cream, and unique flavor selection! I got a mini trio (three scoops of any flavor) for $3.65 - what a great deal! Loved the cookie monster, blueberry, and vegan monster mash; definitely will be coming back to try more flavors!

Stopped by their new location in the Grove this morning for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. Everyone was super friendly and the sandwich and latte were extremely tasty, very good quality which I wouldn’t expect from an ice cream shop, but I am very pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend!

What a hidden gem! Their Ice Cream is the best I’ve ever had. Coffee is sourced Locally from Kaldi’s Coffee! And they now have a delicious line of bagel sandwiches made by a heck of a chef. Check them out!

I can't reply to the owner's comment, so I will explain my experience a bit. We got a pint to go which was fine, cinnamon flavor, but just nothing special. I wouldn't say this place is bad, just not outstanding to similar places in the area.

Great place for a cool treat on a very hot day! Homemade cookies in the case when you walk in and about 12 flavors to pick from. The ice cream is made in small batches so it’s fresh almost everyday. We had butter pecan that was packed with whole candies pecans and didn’t disappoint. We also had vanilla and espresso flavors too. Rich, creamy delicious ice cream. Portions for the price are moderate but well worth it once you taste it. Places to sit inside and enjoy your ice cream out of the heat. Milkshakes, sundaes and ice cream sandwiches with fresh baked cookies were all very tempting!

Went to the new grove location last night. staff seemed to be getting used to things and only half the ice cream case was being used - but they were definitely hustling and super nice. the ice cream was fantastic! I got the poffertjes (like tiny pancakes) and they were made fresh and absolutely delicious! Wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

We were very excited to finally try this place after the hype we had heard. Ice cream is fair, not what I would say is spectacular. Very overpriced. For a place that advertises "boozy" shakes it os staffed primarily by teenagers who cannot make these items and you have to wait for the manager. The boozy shakes are incredibly overpriced. For $11 I would have liked to receive a full shake, not a 20 oz cup half-filled and then topped with almost as much whip cream as the shake. Had the experience but don't plan on returning.

Owner offered samples of the tiny pancakes to all customers in the shop. Very friendly and great ice cream. Serendipity really has great unique flavors. Not bland flavors like most ice cream shops. I recommend cookie monster if you like cotton candy type flavors.

What a cute place! Walk in to a warm, friendly environment with murals on the wall of ice cream and candies. Rows of cookies in several different varieties preceded a large ice cream cooler. We had ice cream sandwiches that were amazing! One thing I found as an extra nice touch was a bowl of dairy digestive supplements free for people like me who LOVE ice cream but can't handle the lactose! Highly recommend for all ages.

Ice cream was excellent! I got an Allagato, which was a scoop of ice cream(I chose gold coast) with a shot of expresso over it in a small bowl. The server there was very friendly and helpful also!

The homemade ice cream is excellent no matter if you prefer it on a cone, in a cookie sandwich, or blended up in a shake. Serendipity offers quite a few unique flavors so there’s something for every sweet tooth. Personally, I like the Cookie Monster because it’s so colorful and has a lot of different textures. Splurge on a fudge-dipped cone, but maybe don’t spring for extra scoops. Portions are large and a single scoop ought to do you. And if you swing by in the summer, just enjoy your treat at one of their tables. They keep the place nice and chilly so your favorite creation won’t melt.

Serendipity is an establishment that we always take guests to when they visit Webster Groves. It is quaint and the ice cream is great. They usually have a non-standard flavor for the adventurous. Though I’ve not had one, I hear great things about their shakes. The last time we were in, they had fresh cookies and brownies available to add a scoop of ice cream to make your own custom ice cream sandwiches. Highly recommend Serendipity if you are in or around Webster Groves!

Good ice cream and they have some alcoholic flavors. This is the only dairy place I've ever seen that has the lactose intolerant pills. I was quite pleased with that detail and consideration they have for their patrons.

I stop in every time I visit family in the STL area. The Chocolate Elvis has ruined all other ice cream sundaes for me, though you can't go wrong with anything you order at Serendipity. Store is always well-maintained and the staff is friendly.

The man who checked us out was very very nice ( can't think of his name) we visited St. Louis for vacation and before leaving had to come back for more ice cream the next day. Their ice cream is very good. I got a double(2 scoops) in a cup, but I was with six other people. The ice cream tasted good. I got peanut butter cup and another flavour. The service was good, and overall the mood and atmosphere of the place was very nice. My only complaint is that upon entry the shop smelt too sweet, and my spoon broke while I was eating. (I just took a new one.)

Gold coast Chocolate Is the best chocolate Ice Cream ever! If You Like the Chocolate Pudding Cups and Licking The chocolate cake Mix or brownie Mix off the blender then Gold Coast is your thing. Smooth and Rich Chocolate is the Best.

Gold coast is the best dark chocolate I have tasted. It's so rich and delicious. What the fudge was good but a bit salty. It's pricing is comparable to cold stone. Definitely not a single $ as shown in maps. We loved the taste and the staff were helpful.

Visited this place in Webster Groves the other day. What a Webster Groves jewel this place is. If you love really good premium ice cream, then this is the place to go. The staff is very friendly and interactive. Free samples just in case you are undecided. The waffle cones are freshly made while you wait and the homemade ice cream is simply amazing. My favorite is the peanut butter and chocolate. Yum Yum. This place is a must visit because you only live once.

Have always loved the ice cream we have gotten here, a favorite for the whole family. Some reviewers have complained about service; this has always been fine for us, but admittedly the staff are generally high school or possibly college students and may vary in confidence accordingly. We appreciate their tolerance in letting us try spoons of several flavors before committing to one!

Okay, so pretty much any ice cream establishment is going to get 5 stars from me.... I love ice cream, and even better when it's being served to me! Serendipity is a cute, smaller storefront in a nice part of Webster Groves. There isn't as much flavor selection as some ice cream stores, but it would never fit. The kids that work there are always smiling and ready to help. I love that you can get kiddie scoops in the waffle cone to reduce portions and calories- or just try more flavors! Another bonus is boozy shakes made for adults! I haven't tried one yet, but it would be a fun post-date night cap stop.

What a great small town feel ice cream shop. All of the flavors are made in house and are super fresh. No Freezer Burn like at some of the other chain places. There are lots of fun new flavors and some of the old classics. I can say this is our go to on a hot night for a special treat.

You can tell by the crowd that this place is good, and I wasn't disappointed. Although busy, the service was quick but personal and efficient. As far as the ice cream, there's something for everyone, from simple cones to wonderful, creative concoctions, or come up with your own. Delicious homemade ice cream. I ordered scoops of blueberry and Meyer lemon poppyseed. Cookie Monster is also a well-loved favorite of my kids. It's cotton candy ice cream with mix-ins of chocolate chip cookie dough and Oreo cookies. Great treats on the first official day of summer.

I hadn't tried their ice cream in a couple years and I'd always been so-so on it - it's dense and hard, instead of creamy and melty. I prefer the latter. Before I get into the food, I'll just say that customer service is....interesting. When I came in, there were four people working behind the counter and not one of them looked up or greeted me. I stood there in complete silence for at least 3 minutes before I was approached. But the girl who helped me ended up being very helpful and very friendly! Now, onto the ice cream. I briefly considered a brownie sundae, but when I found out that they get them from Sam's, I knew it wasn't for me. Instead I got their Salty Malty - a milkshake with vanilla, chocolate and salted caramel ice creams (although I opted to replace the scoop of vanilla with an extra scoop of chocolate). It was absolutely delicious! I will definitely return to try another shake sometime soon!!

WOW... what a lucky mistake... the ice cream is incredible... staff is friendly... try the mexican sweet corn ice cream...OUT OF THIS WORLD... we will be back to try everything... I may have to bring a cooler next time to bring home the many packaged ice cream treats and by the quart... MUST HAVE DRUMSTICKS AT HOME!!! LOL
