Can we say Yuuuuuuuuum. Apple Crunch is all you need. This place is so worth the trip. You gotta do it. The hours are a bit weird but you'll be so delighted that you did. You can make your own, or get some shaved ice... Blue Raspberry is all you need and you can get some rolled ice cream anyway you like, sky is the limit. Can anyone say Chocolate Banana or Grape Dinosaur?? Highly recommended for you and your hot date on the way to the park. Try a Blue Raspberry and Lime Snow shake... You'll love it!!! 🏖🏖🏖

Usually quality service. We went the last night of the season, expecting it to be busy. Apparently many others did not, as several people were complaining, getting their orders pushed up. Meanwhile, we didn’t, and our order took an hour and 15 minutes to come out, long after many people after us had left. It seemed to be the case for everyone that didn’t complain had much longer waits. However, even when busy, service is usually great and the product is consistent. And even with all the complaints, the workers were still in good moods and friendly.

Definitely have the originality down. There's not another place in town like these ice cream people. Great variety of frozen treats. Definitely a good place to go on a hot humid day.

$5.75 strawberry cheesecake rolled ice cream - vanilla ice cream, strawberries, cheesecake & white chocolate drizzle the presentation & experience of watching the rolls being made is very aesthetic. I definitely love the idea of rolled ice cream, but for some reason, whenever I have it (wherever it’s from), the texture is always off. Of course the ice cream is hand mixed, but it’s different than mixing in toppings at Cold Stone. I had a handful of ice crystals & chewy ice cream pieces which I find undesirable.

Nothing compares to Dakota Snow! This is the only place we will go for ice cream or a sweet treat. Anytime family or friends come to town, this is where we take them. They are allergy friendly, options for everyone, but my personal favorite is the sticky monkey, second favorite is the pineapple dole whip, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Highly highly recommend!

We enjoyed the pineapple whip (Dole Whip) from the Sub Zero food truck at a concert at Good Earth Park. It was really good - refreshing, cool, perfect! It made the evening a memorable “event”! Very glad we tried it!

A really good friend suggested it because her granddaughter always wants to go. So we went and enjoyed the hell out of it. It's similar to coldstone in the way they prepared our ice cream for us, and it was really good. The teenage girls who were working were upbeat and bubbly.

Very polite service, and great shaved ice. I got my dish in just under 5 minutes. I liked how original the flavors were and they were spot on. Nice that it has outdoor seating. Overall a must-see if you are ever in Sioux Falls.

Best ice cream, ice, and Dole Whips I've had in my life! When I look at going to events and Dakota Snow is there, I usually go! Other times I swing by their location on 41st Street to get my fix!

A fantastic treat! The rolled ice cream making was fun to watch! We love coming...my only wish is that you would have a kid's size as an option. My 2.5 year old loves getting the rainbow shaved ice, however, she isn't able to eat even half. We love what you have created...thanks for the treats!

Very good shaved ice. They give you very generous servings. I highly recommend getting the sweetened condensed milk as a topping. More places need to offer it, it's such a good idea and works very well!

Expensive but good! Grandson was disappointed in the oreo signature thing. It wasn't really ice cream but iced milk maybe? Either way he didn't enjoy it

Absolutely amazing. So many different flavors of shaved ice, and each one will leave you wanting more! They can add in candy and toppings if you ask. Not to mention their ice cream is amazing! Would give this place 6 stars if I could! Would highly recommend!

You will LOVE this shaved ice! They have a variety of flavors. Be sure to try one of the premium flavors- my daughters favorite is Shark Attack! They also do private events and are very easy to work with. Be sure to book early because their calendar books up quickly!

My son & I tried Dakota Snow at a Vendor Fair last weekend and we were BLOWN AWAY!! Dakota Snow succeeds at EVERYTHING a traditional Snow Cone fails at! The consistency of the "snow" & the amount of flavor throughout were 100% amazing! My son is 10 and he was so impressed with his Dakota Snow that he insisted I write a review!!
