B&G is a staple of Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. A family owned establishment, I have been enjoying their summer treats since I was a kid. They gave a huge variety of ice cream treats and other food options. I am partial to their "Avalanches.". Think of them as better versions of Dairy Queen's "Blizzards." Awesome flavors, friendly service, and great prices. I look forward to every summer when they open back up for the season. Oh...and they do great things in the community too.

I LOVE B&G Milkyway. I’ve probably spent more money here vs. all the other restaurants in Sioux Falls combined. Such a fun place to stop in the summer when the ice cream monster attacks, and the only thing that’ll calm it is a large sundae, an avalanche, a dipped cone, or something else. My wife and I have spent many date nights here. Awesome place!

More often then not they will hand me an over flowing cup and no napkins. Last time I was there they got ice cream on the side of my car. Bring your own paper towels or eat outside because this place is messy and they are stingy with napkins.

A small ice cream place, with no seating. Large selection and multiple combinations of ice cream shakes, malts, avalanches, and concession stand style hot food. Cookie dough avalanche was very good. Will be stopping again sometime.

Stopped in and had a small chocolate malt on a warm Saturday afternoon, and it hit the spot. The staff was curious, and there were tables to sit at outside. This B & G is running drive thru only at this time, which was not an issue for me. It was easy to walk up and order at the window.

I always have to go to B & G Milkyway when I am back in Sioux Falls. I love their Slushwhips. Their Sundeas and shakes are fantastic as well. I believe there are 4 locations.

Icecream was good as always, but the food is horrible and cheaply made and it took forever. The kids they work there were messing around while my family and I waited nearly 13 minutes for fries. Great for Icecream, horrible for anything else.

Omg where would you start? I would suggest starting with the cheese curds followed by a chicken sandwich but everything on the menu is amazing! I always end my meal with soft serve twist ice cream...... whether I eat my main corse here or just swing in for dessert!!!! 20 stars out of 10

Great service but only had drive through open. Would've been nice for all customers if there was a sign stating so to avoid the traffic jam in the parking lot. Thank you to all the workers there that day!

I'm not even sure what it is about this place, but there's something unique and special. Maybe it's the fact that it isn't available year round, and if B&G is open, it means the long winter is ending and warmer days are coming (or here). Maybe it's the fact that you always seem to run into someone you know, or find that everyone there seems to be in a good mood, and eager to chat, even (or maybe especially) if the line is long. Maybe it's the fact that the ice cream is delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to list off the ingredients in their variety of creatively named avalanches, or that the prices don't seem to have quite caught up with the rest of the world. Maybe it's just that you have to order in a little shack and then eat outside, and that's just different, and a break from the norm.

After we had an absolutely disgusting experience at a nearby competitor, we came here. They made our order exactly the way we wanted it, and service was fast and friendly. You will definitely get our repeat business

Oh my gosh they so good, we had the Bing Avalanche, ( I believe that what they are called). I think they put in Bing candy bar in it, so creamy and thick. Taste just like a Bing candy bar which makes sense cause they put a Bing in it. Can't wait until next year.

Food and ice cream are more than good. They're quality! Plus it being outdoors is a plus for those looking to enjoy the summer -- the only time it's ever open -- so, I would definitely recommend!

I have been to this place several times in the past 25-30 years and it never disappoints me! The options are good and the taste is great! Sometimes there is a long wait but that's because they are so good! Stop in chill out and enjoy!

I love ice cream because I'm an american. Anyone who can facilitate getting the ice cream into my mouth in my opinion is basically providing me with happiness in a cold creamy package. My wife and I are frequent visitors to BG Milkyway and are big admirers of what they do. I recently had a banana split avalanche and I think that might be my new favorite
